Perfect fit.
Delivers what it promises. Nice casual look for wearing off and on the bike. Been using it for riding, walking and even skiing.

Great jacket, but I feel it runs large
I really love this jacket. It’s not to thin or thick and has a nice silky feel. I’ve been lucky and it hasn’t been to cool on my morning ride, to test this. But so far so good. SIZING: At first I ordered a large, but felt it was just a little too baggy. I’m 5/10 with a long torso. I then ordered a medium- PERFECT FIT! This is weird because everything I’ve ever ordered runs small. But Thanks to Raphas incredible return policy, sending it back is no problem. Thanks

Fantastic lightweight jacket
Really handy, versatile wind block that offers just enough protection from the elements. It has such lightweight, thin technical fabric you can pack it away inside itself and weighs nothing at all. If there is a light rain shower or if the evening turns cool this is the perfect jacket. Seems to be made really well and all the zips and fasteners are good quality. I bought mine in bright orange which looks really cool both on and off the bike.

Wet through in 30 seconds.
Do not buy. Water goes straight through it after 30 seconds in a light shower. Complete waste of money. Disappointed in Rapha. Have spent thousands on their cycling kit over the years. Will not be buying anymore

Nice handy jacket, nice color and fit. Very tight
Nice weight and material, packs into the dedicated pocket easily and quickly. Nice fit with long sleeves, make sure to downsize 1, comparing with the rest of the Core line. Cuffs are really tight for some strange reason, making it hard to get off while riding. Would have loved a double zipper for commuting. Zipper feels cheap and fragile. Love the pink, very bright and fun. This is not a waterproof jacket and it's not designed for rain.

Great airy fabric.
The fabric seems to breathe really well, giving it an airy feel, plus there's a net section over the shoulders to help with airflow. That's why I like the jacket. I'm not convinced by the hood though, it just billows behind and pulls the front of the neck area against my neck, so I have to roll it up. Would be better if it had a high neck that was microfleece lined and no hood. The pockets at the hip are great for hands, but not the best place for keys when riding: a small chest pocket would be helpful. The fit is quite loose for a cycle top, I rarely wear more than a baselayer under a windproof and there's more room than I need, and I've not got a Chris froome body ! The pocket liners make a kind of internal pocket, and you can easily stuff the jacket into one of those.
And it's not waterproof, but that's the point, I hate riding in sweaty waterproofs.

nice jacket, very lightweight BUT it won't keep you dry, which is obviously why I bought it

Solid commuter and ride jacket.
Solid, lightweight jacket. Use for morning commutes and road and gravel rides for changing weather. Worked in light rain and snow, but probably not for heavy weather. Zipper is a bit flimsy, not smooth while on the bike. Packs down to the size of a Jimmy Johns sub, fits in back jersey pocket just fine.
Size down--I wear an XL in core jerseys and based on other reviews, sized down to a large. Fits great.

Good commute jacket
Great light weight jacket. Have been using it for my 45 minute commute for about 4 weeks. Worked well in a light shower and at temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees C (hasn’t got colder yet). Mesh yoke at the back may let in some rain in a heavy downpour but fine in a shower. Fabric is light and keeps me cool. Good sized pockets. Cuffs are a little tight and reflective strips could be more visible. Good fit.

Lightweight, breathable, wind resistant, hi-viz.
Excellent jacket. Wonderfully lightweight. Breathable. Just enough with a t-shirt for the brisk ride to work in the morning slightly uphill, easily accommodates a sweater underneath for the downhill ride home (Bay Area, CA). Acts a wind-resistant shell. Pink is great for visibility - getting lots of looks (which means I'm being seen!) Have not yet used in rain, so I cannot comment on water resistance.

A must buy!
I use this as a water replete jacket for short showers when riding. I quickly found out this jacket has excellent wind protection properties so I now also use it for my morning rides when it’s chilly for the wind repellent and visibility features. Fits nice into your cargo pockets if you can figure out how to pack it down, it’s doable I got it after an hour! Very light eight and very breathable.

Does not work
Really disappointed. Not waterproof. Not even a especially heavy shower. Out in rain for 20 minutes and water went through. Do not buy if looking for waterproof jacket when cycling.

Good quality stylish light rain jacket
Good quality packable rain jacket. I like the style and feel of this one. It's light and reasonably breathable. It doesn't keep you dry in a downpour as I found out but for light/moderate rain it does the job. It does pack down into itself but it's not the most straight forward thing to do and tends to unfurl itself so it just gets stuffed into my backpack. Overall very happy with it.

Great commuter shell for mild fall/spring
Its has a relaxed fit and snug on the wrists. I’m 1.87m and thin and it fits great as a commuter jacket. Hood buttons down but can move a bit.

great Spring/Summer/Autumn jacket
love the jacket, has a really premium feel to it, material is quality and colour beautiful, got it in green. I'm 5'11, 42' (108cm) chest and size L fits perfectly. This is a casual cycling jacket, normally I size XL in other cycling specific tops like the Rapa core jersey for example. It's windproof and keeps you dry in light summer showers but in a downpour would probably get soaked. It does fit into an internal pocket but I haven't managed to fold it up properly and end up scrunching it in instead, still it's nice it can pack away small if out on a long trek or cycle. I've no problem with the cuffs like others have mentioned but the sleeves are a bit on the long side for me, it's still a great cut though and very stylish jacket to wear anywhere, trekking in the hills or cycling around the city. I have the Rapha 'Pack' jacket from a few years back, really wish they made them again but this is a great alternative and will probably invest again.

Great everyday jacket.
Fantastic jacket that fits true to size. fits more like a casual wind breaker than a bike jacket. I find myself wearing it day to day rather than on the bike. I bought the dark green color from fall/winter 2020/2021 and its great looking. Very deep saturation with purple details on the zipper pulls and sipper backings. great piece.

Perfect for my commute on cooler mornings.
Perfect commuter jacket for late spring and cool summer. Not as sweaty as the rainproof one but keeps the cool wind at bay. Have used it many times since I received it. One complaint, the zipper pull needs to be a bit larger to grab quickly for ventilation while on the move. Other than that an Excellent piece of commuter gear.

The best I’ve ever had
Ive had a few expensive rain coats and they didn’t match up to this one. I specifically searched for ones for cycling. Keeps me perfectly dry. The only issue, I ordered on a US site (I believe) but the product came from a local store. The sizes here are usually smaller, so it’s more snug than I wanted. I’m still dry though.

Nice fabric but cheap zipper
The fabric is very nice but definitely isn’t water repellant as water went right through the fabric to my skin in the slightest rain. Perhaps it’s only mist repellant. Also the zipper looks cheap and fragile. I have to be very careful not to break it when zipping/unzipping. Overall it’s still a good wind breaker.

The "Essential Jacket"
This is the one piece of clothing that should always be in your suitcase or in a pouch on your bike. If you buy it one size bigger, you can put a down layer underneath for warmth. In warm weather, its a great raincoat and in cold weather, its a windproof & water proof shell. Its light and folds easily!

Great light weight jacket.
Super light weight, and the large is a good fit (Im 6'4 180lbs). Love the color, super bright. Sleeves are nice and long so arms stay covered while extended on the bike. My only gripe is with the diameter of the cuffs. No way to pull the sleeves up and I have stick thin arms. Time will tell on durability.

A useful top layer that gets me seen
Extremely snug light jacket, but enough to keep off mild wind chill and light showers. Do not expect it to keep you dry in any sort of downpour. But that’s not how I use it, I have the yellow version and it’s a useful top layer than gets me seen on crisp autumn and winter days and it doesn’t overheat.

Good hi-viz and windproof but not waterproof
Looks good, very light, windproof, well made. Packs down very small. Not very waterproof so only good for short trips in the rain. I went out for 45 mins in a light shower and my clothes were wet underneath when I got home. This is only the 4th time I have worn it and only the first time in the rain.

Yeah, not bad like
Decent enough. Good fit, good pockets, can pack into the pocket. Not very waterproof so is only suitable for zipping about the city. Good visibility and some nice design touches like the popper buttons to fold away the hood. I buy a few bits of stuff from rapha and still have most of it.

Not good Enough
First outing in admittedly quite heavy rain but didn't offer any protection whatsoever. My new Shutt jersey colour ran inside of the Rapha Jacket leaving a black residue, maybe not fair to blame the Rapha jacket and it did wash out ok but still not impressed with the water proofness.

Bright pink and fun
I'm enjoying the jacket so much I even wear it socially. Yup, I'm that guy wearing pink cycling jacket to the shops. The cut is loose as described but length a bit short for taller people like me 6'2. The only issue I have that washing at 30C doesn't get the dirt out fully.

Extremely sweaty
Totally unusable as a commuter jacket because the material doesn't breath at all and the vents at the back are not enough. I don't understand why Rapha has not included some zippers or simple vents in the axle areas and also upgraded the material to something more breathable

Beautiful warm weather jacket.
Really good jacket. Compact and well fitted. It is very thin, which is what I was looking for. I find it appropriate for cool summer mornings here in the PNW or anytime you need just a little bit more than a shirt. But if it’s colder than that you’ll need a warmer jacket.
