Winter Jersey - Initial Impressions.
I'm fairly new to Rapha gear but have invested a fair bit into the cold/winter gear selections. Great jersey especially with the chest vent zippers, back zippered storage, and wind block material in the torso. I did find the arms long but that has helped with pulling over gloves and room for base layers. I'm not a fan of the two oversized back pockets. Although the size of the back pockets work for carrying spare gloves/neck tube, I find it difficult to reach back to access (i.e., longer reach than other jerseys). I think the chest vent zipper should be the opposite direction, open from high to low rather low to high. Also, I think more of Rapha winter/cold gear should come with the double zippers. Not a huge ask and its a huge convenience for riders.

A near perfect winter jersey! The ultimate gift!
The Rapha Winter Jersey is a heavy weight merino blend that provides warmth with breathability, but also provides wind protection via an internal wind block layer on the chest, shoulders and lower back, leaving the middle and upper back with just the main fabric for better heat release. Side vents open via discreet zippers to flush extra heat out if needed. Rear pockets provide ample and secure storage similar to Brevet Jerseys and the back reflective Rapha logo is embroidered in a luxury style unique to Rapha, which reminds me of retro designs on varsity jackets, but is tastefully reimagined. The only wish I would have for this jersey is to use some extra stitching on the lower back inner panel to create an inner pump sleeve. Beyond that very minor wish, this winter jersey is perfect! Lastly if you have a bike with anodized blue components such as on Chris King headsets, BBs, or Onyx hubs, the blue jacket is a ideal match.

Brilliant winter jersey
A really excellent winter jersey. Warm, comfortable and has excellent windproofing. A step up from the older version of the winter jacket.

Best Winter Jersey in my Collection
Best jersey in my collection for Northern California winter rides. It is most comfortable in temperatures from 40 to 65 degrees. The jersey in size xl fits my 5’10” and 195 lb body. The fit gives me a little extra room to move around comfortably. The construction of the jersey is high quality. I have owed another light blue one for a number of years and it should last quite a few more. My riding buddies liked them enough to buy their own. Highly recommend this jersey.

Well designed
Well designed with plenty of storage and cooling vents. Warm too. I purchased a large. Could have fitted a medium but wanted room to add clothing under but little need. Only 10 stone in a large isn't too big at all! Only design question I have is why the high viz arm band on the left side. Designed for cycling on the other side of the road!

Great cold weather jersey
I’ve been looking for a winter( ish) jersey that I could wear for fat biking on cold Canadian winter days, as well as skiing. Found it! The fit and feel works well with base layers under and vests and/ or shells over. Works well over a wide range. And find the easy to reach back pockets very good to stuff extra face gear or gloves, or whatever.

Excellent product
My first Rapha product- I have only had the jacket a week now and I have put it to the test going out in cool weather dropping from 10celcius to 5celcius on both rides (2 hours rides) including light showers, both times the jacket preformed well, I am a sweater and I only wore a base layer as recommend which didn't appear enough when I started but it quickly became apparent this was all I needed. The jacket kept me warm and it seemed to allow the sweat to dry away, I have struggled to find a jacket that suits my sweat rate in winter!!, The jacket is well made and finished. I bought the medium and I am 176cm tall 75kg with 96cm chest, the fit is not tight but it is fitting, I think the small would be too tight, the arms appear longer than most jacket but I don't see this as an negative. I did use the zip vents on both rides as a started and heated up, they work remarkably well in venting heat and sweat but still keeping the important bits warm.

Great jacket
I'm 6..4 and 175 lbs, jersey fits pretty well in body, sleeves perfect length, body could be longer and seems to ride up and continually have to pull down, if it was a little fitter around the body or maybe gusseted at arm/ shoulder area so your arms don't push it up. Super comfortable temp wise and was great going from cool to warm temps or up and down hills. Vents are perfectly placed. Just used in Portland area for first try out and had 25 degrees temp variance

Fantastic winter jersey
Wore this on a 3hr ride in the North of Scotland, with a winter base layer underneath, temperature never rose above -1c and i felt warm and comfortable the whole ride. It feels more like a jacket than a normal jersey. Sizing is true to other Rapha jerseys I own in that the medium fitted perfectly.

Perfect for the cold weather and a bit of rain
Was trying to source a jacket for weeks, after an awesome summer, base layer, short sleeve jersey with this over, and I have been toasty on even 2-4 degree rides, lovely quality and fit, although again sizing of Rapha products is weird, I'm XL, L and M, depending on the product

Superb winter jersey
Purchased the winter jersey to help me keep riding through the cold January evenings. Absolutely phenomenal jersey. Feels like your wearing body armour and is superb at keeping out the coldest winter days. Probably will get a second one in another colour for next winter

Winter Awesomeness
I've only ridden in this a few times so far, but it has been wonderful from about 30 degrees to 45 degrees. Looking forward to trying it in colder temps. It is form fitting and I wasn't sure that would be a good thing in a winter jersey, but it is really wonderful.

Quality Jersey, well designed and made
I was looking for a replacement Windstopper Jersey so I thought I would try Rapha as the competitors were as expensive. Very pleased with the Quality and the thought put into it. Particularly liked the high collar as most Jerseys I have to wear a "buff as well"

Great winter jersey with one downside
Very comfortable, thick and warm jersey. The front zipped vents are a great feature. The only downside is lack of windproof material in sleeves. In temperatures I use this jersey in, torso is being shielded from the wind, but arms get cold.

Just right for winter in New Mexico
Best winter jersey I've ever owned. It's heavy enough to stay warm, but not so heavy that I feel like I'm drowning in wool. Lots of pocket space to carry extra clothing and nice zips for ventilation, because it gets warm on the climbs.

Just excellent!
Warm and comfortable, provides luxury look and touch. Worn it for easy spin at 4(c) degrees with light base layer and it felt perfect. In terms of size – I’m 182cm tall and 90kg with pretty massive top (chest 115) – XL suits me well.

Winter jacket excellent
Worn throughout January and February weather 3 to 9 degrees with a single merino base layer and was toasty warm without overheating. 6 foot tall about 75kg and large size worked a treat accomodating the base layer.

Rapha Winter windproof jersey
The jersey is very well made with a very fine hand. Fit is very good with the exception of the collar, it is a little narrow and comes up higher in the front making me have to always run the collar partially open.

Looks cool, feels warm…
Great Cold Weather Gear. Works fantastic for temps between 30 and 50 f… and also looks awesome. Zippers are good quality, and the vented sides allow you to regulate your temperature. Will definitely buy another.

Comfy winter jersey
Love this jersey. Keeps me comfy during dry / colder weather. Windproving on the chest is a great addition and the merino mix does a nice job in keeping me warm (but not too warm). As the sleeves are not windproofed you can feel the wind passing through.
First ordered a size L but that was too wide for me on the chest (100cm chest) so resized to M and that fit perfect (192 / 83kg). Sleeves are long enough (just). Due the thick fabric and windpanels that jersey is not very stretchy.

Great for cold and dry rides
Warm and mostly wind proof. Great for cold days on the bike. The material doesn't feel like it will repel water so don't use on rainy days.

Perfect for winter weather
After trying to nail down a good kit for the winter rides, i landed on this jersey. So far the coldest i've ridden in this jersey is 32F, and it's great. With only a short sleeve base layer, this kept me plenty warm. The wind-blocking is perfect and keeps your core temp up. Wearing anywhere around 45F or higher is a little warm, but the vents do a good job assisting with temp regulation. L was perfect and if i rode in any colder weather, an additional layer would be perfect.

My go to winter jersey
Great jersey for those cold winter rides. I've been using this jersey for subzero rides (complimented with the merino long baselayer), nice and toasty. When things get too warm inside you just zip the underarm vents open for cooling. Works like a charm.
Sizewise I would say it's loose so you could fit an extra layer or jersey underneath. I would have liked the the gripper for the valuables pocket a bit bigger, difficult to operate with gloves.
Very happy with my purchase.

Good addition to the cycling wardrobe
Overall I am pleased with this jersey, the fit is slightly looser allowing tor the appropriate base layers and the zipped vents and pocket arrangements are good as always. Dropping a star as the finish is slightly shiny which makes the material look like some cheap nylon/polyester, this might be for water repellence but it cheapens the look. Also the neck is too snug when zipped all the way, I have this jersey in XL and have 16.5 collar, perhaps it will loosen with wear.
