MY GO TO
I have worn the Jersey on every ride since I received. On the road, on the trails, on the gravel it is by far other than my bikes the best investment I have made. Perfect for 20 degree weather if worn under a wind breaker, perfect 30 degree weather with a wind breaker vest and perfect at 38+ weather with a base layer. I have found that RAPHA apparel is IMO the finest bicycling apparel available. One must always keep in mind “you get what you pay for”.

Favorite Rapha item
Better than expected. Jersey looks absolutely fantastic. Highest quality Rapha item I own (of a lot). Incredibly versatile which makes it a great value. Windproof material on chest works great to cut the chill, and thick merino is cozy as hell but keeps me feeling dry so I don't get that mid-ride shiver after a coffee stop. Vents under arms work wonders when I do get hot. Super deep pockets and zippered ballast pocked hold a ton of winter gear. 10/10

A must have
This is my second Winter Jersey. It was one of my first Rapha piece, more than ten years ago. I have to say that it doesn't seem to have changed over the years, and that's a good thing. It's a luxurious shirt, and as others have said, more of a jacket than a shirt. The fit is comfortable but the windproof panels make it less elastic than a normal shirt, so this must be taken into account. In Classic Jersey I use size S, here I took a M. 1.80 x 66kg.

Beautifully made but performance is confusing
This is without doubt the most exquisitely made Rapha product I have ever owned. The problem is, it's a little bit too sweaty yet also not totally windproof or warm (kind of the worst of both worlds). I'll be honest - I am confused! I also have the windproof jersey which I prefer because at least you know where you stand with it - it blocks the wind completely and you get rather sweaty if the temperature rises, but at least you are never cold.

Great winter jersey
Great jersey, especially for colder days. Really nice finish to the material and washes very well which is a must at this time of year.
Only negative is that it’s quite a loose fitting and the sleeve length is a little longer than normal. Perhaps if it was worn more as a jacket it would be a closer fit, but I’ve found it so warm that only a base layer is required.
Great jersey though, mine is in the dark green which I think is a great colour.

Lovely Green and Warm
I could go on about how its toasty warm between 3 and 8 degrees.
I could go on about the nice fit and the multitide of deep pockets.
I could go on about the reflective arm band and the big 'Rapha' logo on the back.
But in all honesty it think this awesome because in dark green. The material is a shiny green flex and its luscious and almost velvety soft.
I'm not the keenest to ride when its sub 7 degrees but wearing this is a good excuse.

Perfect Winter top
When it's one of those cold, dry Winter days, this is the jersey to reach for. First things first - it's warm. Nice and thick, windproof front. It's like having a gilet on, without needing to wear a gilet ! For me the configuration of the pockets is the best of any Rapha jersey or jacket - two big rear pockets, one with a pump sleeve. A smaller zipped pocket that's just the right size for a Rapha essentials case. Then the larger zipped pocket above the rear pockets, perfect for an extra jacket, should you decide to take one. Reflective armband and massive reflective Rapha logo, right across the back. Looks good.
So, eventually you've got to put the jacket on and head out into the Winter chill. How does it perform ?
Well, as long as it stays dry, it's perfect. Warm, insulating, comfortable, stylish. If the day does heat up you can undo the large zipped vents at the front and let some cooling air in. The jersey is less good if it does start raining - absolutely fine in drizzle or a bit of light rain. If the rain persists, the jersey can get a bit waterlogged and start to feel heavy, as is the way with merino. Fortunately, you've got the zipped pocket across the back in which you earlier stashed your Rapha rain or wind jacket, so you're all sorted !
Highly recommended, you honestly won't be disappointed. I got the off white colour - nice and visible. Good work, Rapha !

A needed winter item.
I first used this when it was -3c on a 12 mile commute into London. I burn warm normally to often struggle to get the right balance of overheating or freezing. This Windproof over the top of a long sleeve jersey seems to have hit the mark for me -3c and 7c rang so far. Will test it with colder morning yet to come. Sleeves are quite long! I normally take a large top, but this and my wind jacket are XL and snug. Stylish and does its job.

Wonderful jersey
This is a wonderful jersey/jacket. With a wool long sleeve base layer it will keep you warm at near freezing temperatures. A vest over it is perfect for the first few minutes until you warm up. The zippered vents in the front are nice and large and well placed to vent cool air under your arms. It only misses a bit of color for safety. So i wear bright orange or pink arm bands over one arm where the dark arm band is.

Near perfection
Top quality as we have come to expect. Heavier fleece jersey material. Windblocking panels. Ample storage and ventilation. When it is below 40, I layer in an old merino sweater and I am plenty warm. Between 40 and 50 usually just a base layer like capeliene. Above 50 and this is too warm. My only criticism is the logo on the back (minus 1 star). 6’1” 200 lb and XL fits. This is my second one so that is saying something.

Warm and toasty
I bought this for the up coming winter months, as I spend hours on the road a week. The only thing that I’ve found could be better is, the draw cord system around the base of the jersey, and there is no internal headphone port for a cable when listening to podcasts.

Functional but not robust
Functional with vents, it is a proper winter jersey but the drawstring that runs through the bottom of jacket snapped on first outing. Can’t be bothered sending it off for repair as the turnaround is normally horrendous and it won’t be worth wearing by mid march. Also zippers on rapha jackets and jerseys have become really poor over last few years which isn’t good considering prices they go for.

Best kit piece
Cannot recommend more, it has been my winter companion in most rides. Perfect Warm/dry balance with a good merino base layer. Size runs a bit bigger that other Rapah jerseys and for me it´s a jacket rahter than a jersey.

Perfect in Wind and Flurries
On the cold early morning spring rides in Michigan, this has been my bread and butter paired with a nice thermal layer underneath. This morning we had strong winds and flurries hitting us around Belle Isle and the Rapha Winter Jersey held up marvelously throughout. I love the amount of storage space and the length given my long torso. Will most likely pick up another in a different color.

Quality that works
More than a winter jersey, this works great into spring too with a minimal base layer. I use this down to 2-3C and it works well with a merino long sleeve base. I've only been caught in a light shower but was fine in that. Really pleased with quality though I would say the sizing is maybe more snug than loose, if that's an issue, which given the shaped cut, isn't an issue for me.

Best winter jersey
Very warm and comfortable. Lots of pockets. It has 2 vents on each side of my ribs and allow me to cool down while on the bike. Best feature ever for me. A bit too tight on the neck

Warm, but.
This replaced my winter wind block jersey, which served quite a temperature range. As a mid layer for the winter it works for me and on its own above freezing it could use some wind protection on the arms. I am not crazy of the branding, but I wear a vest or shell over and it's not a issue. 5'10" 165lbs M is a good fit. It feels robust and time will tell as for it's durability.

Cosy winter jersey
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect as usually ride in winter jackets but this was a pleasant surprise. Cosy against the howling gales we’ve had recently. Nice big centre pocket for my waterproof, handy one for keys too. Temperature was around 10 degrees so will be interesting to see how effective it will be at colder temperatures. Very pleased. My wife has impeccable taste 😍

Excellent winter jersey!
I bought this jersey for cold winter rides. Being close fitting, it fits under my waterproof. I bought it to because my brevet jersey was not warm enough. In fact, I ended up riding with the winter jersey in -2 C, and my arms were starting to get a bit cold, but my body was fine thanks to the extra panels in the front of the jacket. With arm warmers or another long sleeve jersey underneath I think it would be fine even at -2. So this jacket will serve you in any temperatures where you can stay upright on a bike. Some people have criticised the pocket set-up and I know where they are coming from. My issue is that the back pockets do not spread as much across your back as they would with a regular jersey. But that is not enough of an issue to put me off this jersey. Also, the material of the jersey looks nice and is very comfortable against the skin. I love it and would certainly recommend it to a friend!

Quality is good
Quality is good, fits very nice, reflectings works also good, but I expected that it will be more warmer for real winter, will check soon. For autumn so far it is very good - with one base layer no problems at +3C.

Winter Windproof
Excellent styling and cut of the winter jersey, I've recently worn this down to 2-3C with a short sleeve merino base layer and not felt uncomfortable. Sizing runs slightly larger as I normally wear an XL in Rapha jerseys plus rear pockets swallow everything required for longer runs and the zipped large rear pocket comfortably takes my waterproof jacket!

Great quality nice and warm
As a winter ‘jersey’ it is warm, more of a jacket really. I usually size up to a large in Rapha jerseys, but I had to return the large for a medium which fits absolutely perfectly, so I would believe the size chart. Pockets are large and useful, and I’ve been wearing with a long sleeve base layer in the British weather so far. Expensive but worth it.

Quality piece for cold weather riding
First time I felt the jersey, it just comes across as quality! Very nice weight to it! My first ride in temps ranging from 40-52 degrees F. Paired with a SS merino wool base layer and with the front zippers I was able to regulate my temps!
If I were to buy another one, I’d size down as I prefect a more closer fit, even tho it’s advertised as club.

Great jacket but no escaping the massive rear logo
Really like this jersey. Arms can get a little cold in the wind without a long sleeve base layer or windproof layer ontop. Fits well, feels nice, good quality material as one expects from Rapha. Big pockets with a large zipped one. Zippable vents under the arms. Logo on the back is a bit big and bordering on tacky but ok if you don’t mind that.
