Rapha - Reflective Oversocks
Just bought these in green to go with the matching green Gillet (which is awesome by the way), but I'm sorry to say a hole has appeared already on both socks. I'm hoping it's just a one-off as all my Rapha products are amazing and last really well. The sizing also is very small, I ordered the XXL as I'm size 12 shoes and they are really difficult to get over the shoes

Essential cold weather garment
This is my second pair of over socks. I find them excellent in British cold weather in all but the really wettest of conditions. My first pair were faultless and lasted a number of years for cold weather rides. Unfortunately I also started using them this season over my MTB shoes for CX and gravel riding. I knew this was a mistake as they are really designed to fit a slimmer road shoe and not for off the bike running. iDue to this my original pair took a bit of hammering and got damaged. My new ones will be kept exclusively for road rides.

Ripped
I was careful when taking them on/ off as they are quite tight on size 44 shoes and due to other comments made here. However, noticed a large hole in them after my second ride. Disappointed.

Nice product but.....
Good product. Fits good. Nice wide reflective section on the top which gives nice piece of mind in low light conditions. These oversocks are slightly harder to put on and take off because they come up the calf a good degree higher than the popular Defeet slipstreams. The only thing preventing me from giving a 5 star rating on these is the color. I chose the orange color. The picture online makes these look much brighter than they are in person. I had gotten these to tie in with my neon orange defeet gloves which are radioactive bright. These oversocks next to my Defeet gloves look dull in comparison. I ended up ordering the Defeet orange slipstreams to get a better foot glove match with the orange but these Rapha Oversocks are still a nice product. I will just wear them on their own without trying to match them to another brands gloves.

Toastie tootsies
Bought last month for the Conwy Gran Fondo. Conscious of the low temperatures a North Wales early spring morning may present these oversocks just took the edge off the chill. They provide that little extra warmth that I often crave but not so much that you over heat. Great product and highly recommended.

innovative and works well
Didn't want full overshoes, but needed something. These are a great compromise, very innovative and works better than I expected in terms of getting on and off. Still keep toe covers on. Seem very durable and look great also.

Safe as well as warm
I bought these over socks because not only do they keep your feet warm on cooler days they also have reflective tops so that you can be seen when the nights/mornings get darker. The quality is as always top notch

Simple but Effective
These are really easy to get on and fit my giro empires (44) perfectly. Empires are great with all overshoes though! They look really good and are far less scruffy than other brands overshoes. The height is particularly awesome. If I could give them 4.5 I would, as the overlock stitching could do with being more heavy duty. I will be careful fitting them and have them repaired by the mother in law if they do come undone here though:-) The only flaw in an itherwise perfect product.

Thin compared to other branded oversocks
These are pretty thin in construction. Probably wouldn’t buy again. Would be cooler if they said rapha, so I could at least justify the price with the snob factor.

nice
Great item, been a good piece of kit for the winter and would recommend as they haven't even fallen apart like most sock overshoes.

A little pricey but good quality
I wasn’t sure what I was getting with these when I ordered them. should I expect a cotton sock material? How robust will they be? Are they actually going to provide any insulation? Well let me say I’m glad I ordered them. They are easy enough to put on / take off the silver is reflective ad they are surprisingly warm. I’ve ridden in the pro team winter socks and these over socks into the high 30 degree fahrenheit
And had no issues with cold toes. Would highly recommend.

They are super great seeming however they all got holes in them within two weeks of wearing them, around 70miles.

Not very practical
Wore once and already split. If you have to walk with the bike the sock is not able to cope

外型亮眼
外型很亮眼,雖說這次比較貼心的將鞋底對硬卡踏的孔幫忙開好了,但是尺寸過大導致後腳跟的包覆面積不足,還要送去將開口縮小

Precut cleat and heel openings, great update
Bought the original version of these with the 'cut here' marks, needless to say they started to disintegrate after some use. These are much btter with precut openings and possibly more reflective band around ankle, great for just a glint of reflectivity in low light. Good all rounders, weight of the material is suited to spring / autumn riding, not sure I would still want to wear in the low summer months, but there is still good ventilation.

Ace colour. Love reflective. Needs an hour to fit!
Cold ride + cleat shoe = good ventilation and chilly toes.
This sock sorts that.
And looks ace. The Rapha pink pops as ever.
But.
Man alive it’s tough to fit. Once you’ve done one you take a big breath and go for the next. It’s an endeavour you can’t do swiftly.
Plus. They tear super easy. Mine got a ‘ladder’ after the second ‘fitting’.
It’s a sock. Not a jacket. So manage your expectations!

First Rapha product that wasn't made right.
I am giving this product a bad review for quality workmanship, however, I still love it and wish I could afford nothing but Rapha. One of the heel openings was made much larger than on the other oversock, obviously a defect, but not worth sending back. These Hi Viz pink oversocks are awesome!!!!!!

Everything I'd Expect from Rapha
I bought these over a month ago and am impressed with the overall quality and durability. They're thicker than most oversocks that I've bought and much more wind resistant too.

Look great
I haven't actually used these yet as I'm saving them for the summer. However I cant see how they will fail to perform. I did however try them for size over my climbers shoes and they were really tough to get on with no stretch in the material, so I'm dubious as to the longevity of these. The stitching tore at the cleat holes on first attempt.

Great visibility & style but disposable
I bought these a month ago and they are already tearing at the high friction/rub points. They are super visibile and cool, but you have to be careful pulling them on over cleats and that will save some life. Ultimately, they are disposable because they rip and get very dirty from the roads. You can wash them, but most grease stains remain.

Failed for warmth and failed for wear and tear
I liked the idea of these oversocks but unfortunately they failed both in terms of durability and warmth. These developed a hole on the very first outing. It was also a cold morning and I hoped these would help keep my feet warm. Sadly not, so I’ve gone back to my CastellI toe thingys. Not quite as cool looking but they work.

Great visibility
I got these in pink and they are extremely bright! Perfect for riding in low light when it's not cold enough for overshoes or winter boots.
The soles are pre-cut and stitched which marks these out from most other oversocks by avoiding the need to take scissors to a nice new pair of overstocks.
Recommended.

Stylish and reflective
I'be owned quite a few oversocks in the past - these are a bit thinner than Rapha's standard one but seem solid so far. Pre cut clear holes are great (as I always used to get the cutting wrong)
Reflective band is a wonderful touch for winter riding and the high viz pink certainly gets seen out there on the roads!

Great Colour! (Pink) Size got bigger??
Already own a pair of these in black size L-XL (I'm a UK8) and they fitted well, these new ones however seem to be a bit bigger. I know lots of people complain about them being difficult to get on but I'd rather spend 5 minutes getting them on than have baggy oversocks.. Hopefully they'll shrink a bit in the wash!
