Not Suited for Round Shaped Asian HeadsI have tried M sizes on Smith helmets before but they tend to squeeze into my temples which was uncomfortable. I tried L on this order and while it fits OK while tightening it down to the minimum, it is still not a perfect fit. I ended up adding bits of foam around and still doing it as I go along. However, I have no qualms with the quality and finish of this helmet. The matte look of the helmet I believe is moulded into the shell material and will not peel or scratch upon impact. Had a few scruffs over low branches so far and it has held up pretty well.

Great Style, So-So functionalityWhen I saw that Rapha and Smith were collaborating on a helmet I immediately hit the 'buy button'. You can't go wrong with Smith products and Rapha style, right? When I received the helmet I couldn't wait to get on the trails with my fresh new kit. While the style is second to none, i was slightly disappointed with some of the finer functionality details. The bolts on the visor were slightly loose so I stopped to tighten them with a hex wrench. By the end of my ride the two bolts were loose again. Once again, I tightened them, hoping it would solve the issue. Unfortunately, the self-loosening screws continue to be a problem, requiring me to stop intermittently during rides to tighten the visor so it doesn't slap down while hitting drops or chunky rock gardens. Overall the helmet is the best-looking helmet of all on the trails but the visor slap is a huge disappointment.

Didn’t work for me, but very nice helmet.Helmet was very high quality and the features were top notch. The visor was very good as well. Can’t give much more of a review because I returned. Couldn’t quite get it to fit how I wanted it to. But lots of friends love this helmet. Just didn’t work for me.

Good bucketGreat helmet - low profile, comfy and stylish. Haven’t tested the impact resistance but seems safe.

Best helmet everThis helmet is outstanding. Fits like a glove, provides complete safety and is stylish. I had never ordered a helmet online but sizing instructions were perfect and the delivery from UK to Canada was prompt and seamless. It actually arrived ahead of schedule. Glad I’ve added it to my biking gear!

Hello - does the visor adjust up and down, or is it fixed? There is nothing in the description and the pictures do not show the visor moving. Also there is an unanswered question from a year ago...
Asked by: Mike 31175
The visor adjusts into 3 different positions.

Is this helmet asian fits?
Asked by: masataro
This helmet is the same fit and make across the US, Europe and Asia websites. The difference between the US and EU versions is simply in the safety standards it has been tested to meet for each country.

What is the difference between US and EU Helmets?
Asked by: JulianS
The difference between US and UK/EU helmets is that the US helmets are certified to US safety specifications and the UK/EU helmets are certified to UK/EU safety specifications. We highly recommend purchasing the helmet that applies to the area in which you live so that your helmet will comply with local regulations.
