Look nice, good materials, seemed well made, usual Rapha branding. Unfortunately none of this matters if Rapha then proceed to put a seam right through the middle of the crotch area. The general compression element of the tights and the firm straps - no problem in their own right - then however combine with the seam to exert unbearable pressure, both in a standing and seated position. For me a crazy design and one that's hard to understand. Also applies to the Pro bibshorts albeit to a lesser extent due to the more forgiveable fabric. Sorry Rapha not for me and anecdotally know many riders who don't use Rapha bibs for this very reason. Gave it a try, two different sizes returned and will now look elsewhere for winter kit.

Excellent tights for your long winter rides
Excellent quality, great fit, cool style, expensive tights. I hesitated a while if these where worth their price, as I was already happy with the Core Winter Tights I use. I can now say they are worth every cent and then some more. I wore my Pro Team Winter Tights for many hours on many winter rides till 100+km and the pad was comfortable the entire day. I wore them while raining, in a freezing fog and in temperatures from -3°C to 8°C and the DWR fabric protects you from the elements while the breathable fabric on the rear allows body heat to be released. They are now my "go to" tights in winter for long distance where they excel. Great fit. I am 185cm/80kgs and the Large fits perfect to me. Definitely recommended for those that spend "time" in the saddle in winter.

Crackin' tights.
I have own a couple of other brands of bib tights and none of them come close to the comfort of the pro team winter tights. They're the kind of garment you put on and forget you're wearing until you get home to discover that you're still warm and dry. Then sit there with a post ride pint and wonder why you didn't just bite the bullet and buy them ages ago! Plus they look fresh.

Goldilocks Pad
Have three pairs of tights from Rapha - after some initial hiccups with rub marks and loose threads super happy with all three now. The mian reason is the "goldilocks" pad - it's basically just right and makes every ride super comfy. These are the Navy ones, and go great with my Cafe Du Cyclyste tops, the others I have are the Classic ones. The core I returned - nice pad, but sum of the parts was not worth the cost difference. Sizing - in classic they are true to size - Large for me - 33 waist and 40 chest. Following the same sizing in the Pro and no dice - like a sausage in a small tube - swapped for XL, fit perfect. Very expensive but worth the cost for the ride comfort, especially long distances.

Great all around
69 in tall, 170 Lbs, Size Large
Keeps me warm (but not too warm) even when riding in 20 degree F temperatures but still manages to wick away sweat to keep me dry. Perfect fit. Comfortable, the material used is very soft, stays tight to your body but doesn’t feel like its squeezing you and doesn't bunch up. I put a pair of hand warmers in the back pocket to keep my back warm which helps tremendously too.
I read a comment when i was buying them about a customer saying that the midline stitching started to ride up and cause some groin discomfort but it may be a sizing issue because I haven't had that issue.

Just right...
Wore these for the 1st time today 1/1/2020 Austin, TX 52-54 degrees, overcast, 71 mile ride. I am 6'5 158 lbs. These fit just right and are probably good down to about 30 degrees, any lower I would say put on a base layer 1st. At 6'5 158 lbs I would say if you are any heavier get the extra large, they seem to run a bit small. Quality is superior, and the chamois actually gives a little cushion. Hope this info helps someone.

Warm and Comfy
Bought these with the sole intention of being warm on evening and Sunday Club rides in November through to when it's time for shorts! The fit is great, the comfort of the pad is great. Wore them on Sunday for a Crossbike sportive with temperatures ranging from 5c at 8am to 10c 2pm - didn't feel any chill on my legs, mud and road spray wasn't a problem either and didn't overheat. They've washed very well too. My 1st Rapha purchase and I'm really impressed. My measurements indicated L but the XL are a better fit on me.

Very Well Designed Winter Bib
I own a number of different Rapha bibshorts, so it comes as no surprise that these Pro Team Winter Tights are a high quality, very effective and critical centerpiece for anyone looking for the best winter riding gear. My only complaint is a personal one. I'm vertically challenged at 5'5" tall and the legs on these bibshorts are several inches too long which results in some bunching from the knees down.

Best winter bibs I've ever owned
Hands down best bibs, I've owned.
I was a little apprehensive due to the cost but I'm glad I took the plunge. I've been warm and content even in the worst of weather conditions -2 being the coldest and a few down pours. A high front helps keep the wind chill out. Some hi Viz details are welcomed along with logos which have held up to regular use.
The bibs have not lost shape or stretched fit me well with a 32" waist and shirt legs (size medium). They are a little be long around the ankles but nothing major.
I'd buy another pair of these ever failed.

Nice style and keeping you warm
After 10 years of Assos I tried my first pair of Rapha shorts. I like them but there are some things that do not work for me. I like the style, the details and they keep warm. What I like less is the fact that the fabric is a little rigid. Especially in the area of the shammy. Furthermore they are too long for me. So if you are not very slim (1.82 at 77kg) you might have the same issue

Worth It
These are awesome bibs. I use them on days below freezing to decently above. They are usually fine in that range. I never worry about my legs and waist getting cold in these ranges. They aren't fully waterproof if you are in a bad storm for a lengthy amount of time, but they are still fairly impressive on lighter precip. They fit me exactly how I like - snug and stationary - and I don't ever think about them once I put them on. They stay put and feel very supportive. Reflective strips are nice to have. I wish they were like 1-2" shorter at the ankle, but it's honestly not a big deal, and Can't expect them to fit everyone perfectly. I am 5'10"180lbs with athletic build and wear a Large.

Awesome Winter Tights!
I bought these tights a month ago and have worn it 3 times already. Each time I've gone out has been between 0-5 degrees Celsius and never once did I feel like I was under-dressed. The best part about these bibs is the windstopper fabric. I can handle the cold ambient temperature but it's the wind that usually gets to me and so far this has not been an issue.

Solid in snow, robust.
Very solid product. Their most impressive outing was a climb up to the snow line in Cantabria in northern Spain. It started raining at the top and I descended from the puerto to a bar at the valley in the cold and rain, they were impeccable. I'm 6'0 and 65kg. Sizing suggests a small but these fit me well as a medium. I've had no issues with discomfort and they appear to be robust after a few months of riding 3-4 times weekly.

Worth it!!!
Adore these tights - I fretted about the cost versus the lower tier versions but needn’t have worried - the first venture out was 100km in -3’c icy conditions - so a true baptism of fire (or ice as the case may be) and they’d proven themselves worth every penny in the first 5km.
They’re nicely water and rain resistant (almost like wetsuit material?) and come up quite high to keep your kidneys warm - I’ve previously had kidney failure so this is a big tick for me.
Fine in minus 3 conditions with just a base layer, merino jersey and pro team wind jacket on top and classic overshoes to keep the feet rest dry.
The dual thickness pad was spot on even after 100km.
Cannot recommend these enough.

Great Bib Tights
Purchased these tights about a month ago and as of thus far I am very pleased. First ride in them was honestly terrible. Chamois pad felt bulky and I lost sensation during climbs in an aggressive position. After washing and couple rides, the fit and comfort has only improved. Chamois now feels exceptionally comfortable. Recently went on a solo 71 mile intermediate ride and never lost sensation once. I am 6'4" - 210lbs and they fit me perfect in length & width, but are also tight-very tight forming (but this is my personal preference). If you prefer a looser fit, size up to the XL.
Match these tights with any base layer + ls jersey or shadow jacket and you will have a sound winter/deep winter kit.

normally i have 2 long tights; one for spring/fall and one for winter. By coincidence both were up for replacement after many years of service. I decided to spend the extra try the Pro Team Winter tights. It now turns out i have been saving money since this one replaces both tights. The fit is great....the way it maintains body temperature and manages heat is absolutely miraculous. A must-have!!

Rain resistant, warm and breathable
I thought I needed to invest in a decent pair of Bibtights having fallen foul to buying cheap options over the years. I love my Pro-team bib shorts so thought I'd go for these. They are simply brilliant. They keep me dry in the wet, they keep me warm when its around 0 degrees and they allow me legs to breath! I love them I just wish I'd spent the money sooner. I am 40" chest, 34" waist, 88Kg, 183cm and I have size XL which are a perfect fit. Don't settle for cheap alternatives!

Even better than the last version!
This is my 3rd pair of winter tights with pad over the years. As expected, not wholly unsurprising, but still great to see - the quality, fit and performance has indeed increased with this latest model even though the previous version was great. Leg panels are well placed, fleece liner is softer, rainwater beading well, chest straps are softer but they sit well. So far ab 6 rides in <40degs F and rain for 50-ish miles each and then have been great; warm comfortable and dry.

Great winter tights
Even though these are the first tights I've ever bought, they are amazing, I don't regret it for one it. They fit nice, keep me warm in the cold and dry in the rain. Can wipe the water off just like that. It also makes sure that I don't get any saddle pains. Just amazing tights. Definetly recommend them.

Ideal Winter Tights
These tights have performed brilliantly in sub zero temps, cold winds, rain, sleet and snow over the winter season. Exceptional performance and a really good amount of warmth. I regularly wash and apply DWR to keep them as water resistant as possible and have no complaints. The wide shoulder straps are comfortable in all conditions and for long hard rides. The pad took a little getting used to as the placement feels slightly different to what I've been used to but I think it is much more effective than other brands having worn the tights over an extended period now.

Perfect pants for harsh winter conditions
I hesitated before buying the pants because of the price. After deciding to buy it just before the start of the winter season I am very happy with the pants. I wore it in different (typical Dutch) weather conditions, from -4C with a strong eastern wind blowing, to +7C in rainy conditions. At all times, the pants kept me warm. And of course, the Rapha-chamois is very comfortable, also during longer rides

Great quality
I’ve been using theses for a few months, I’m 5’6, 10.6 stone, 30-32 waist, 29 inch inside leg. Xsmall are still to long and the bunch a bit a the knee, that being said these are by far the best bib tight I’ve ever owned, previously used Castelli, Assos and DHB, the insulate and keep you reasonably dry. Pad is excellent as you get with the pro range, used in conditions from10-0 degrees with no chilling.

Flawless
Fabulous tights. Wind proofing in selected areas on leading surfaces. Dwr treatment has survived the wash thus far, helpful in keeping the legs dry in a light shower. Straps an improvement on earlier incarnation of the tights. Much more robust in construction, using a thicker but very comfortable material. Feels like it’ll last well. Pretty much flawless in every way. Sizing identical to my version 1s. The blue looks very smart and I like the addition of the white pro team stripes on the rear of the legs. These are a great winter tight.

Great pair of tights
In winter I used to go out with a pair of short bibs and leg warmers. This year I bought this pair of tights and it makes a big difference. In a nutshell: Tight, warm, comfortable, protects your upper legs against light rain, a bit expensive but worth it in my opinon. It also looks good and you can really feel and see it's a good quality product. Enjoy.

Great Product - Very Sturdy - Crash Tested !
Bought my second pair of these to make sure i always have a clean pair for indoor Peloton or outdoor winter rides. First time I wore them outdoor I crashed at high speed and didn't even mark the material. Very robust and super comfortable! Don't leave home on a bike in winter without them!

Could be better with a couple adjustments
Pros: Styling and fit. Cons: Non-windproof lumbar area, not available without chamois. Windproof material extends to suspenders at front (why?), and the cut at front is too high at front when you are in aero position. If these had a windproof lumbar area and you could use thermal bibshorts underneath, I could wear them in even colder conditions. The legs in size L are long enough for 92 cm inseam, and size L fits well for someone who uses M-sized Pro Team bibs.

Everything About These is Excellent
Basically Perfect. Warm, compressive, comfortable, stunning. I'm 6,3, 195lbs & the XL fits me perfectly besides perhaps being about 5% too long which isn't an issue & better than being too short...overall though warm enough where I never need to wear a baselayer under them in anything around 0°C. They block the wind at the front yet breathe well at the back...they are simply excellent absolute must for extending your riding season in either late fall or early spring. Would happily buy them again in other colours.

A Must Buy
I was hesitant at the cost initially but so glad I went for the pro over the core range. The added quality is instantly noticeable and the waterproofing is absolutely essential in winter conditions in the UK. Would highly recommend to anyone considering. I went XL and usually wear Large in core.
