Lacks some features from the hooded wind jacket
I'm comparing this to what I had before, the excellent Rapha Hooded Wind Jacket, which was discontinued about 7 years ago. What I really liked in the Hooded Wind Jacket was its understated looks: no visible logos, no reflective parts. It also had more features, like a drawcord in the hem, and really comfortable, long, stretchy cuffs. In comparison, this jacket feels a little cheap (and it IS a lot cheaper). Because there are now drawcords, the size is what it is. Also, I would prefer to not have reflectors in my jacket, as I have lights on my bike.
Because of these reasons, I ended up returning this jacket.

Functionally there is a lot to wish for
Lightweight and stylish (except for the stupid pink ribbon). Functionally there is a lot to wish for - The fabric catches the wind a lot and it can be hard to get your hands out of the arms. The hood also catches the wind and rolling it up everytime you ride is not practical.

Not a cycling fit jacket
Runs big, fits like a regular jacket. Expected more of a closer to the body cycling fit. Exchanged for a smaller size and it’s still a little too big. Been wearing it as a regular windbreaker to walk around in. Great quality and fabric like you would expect from Rapha.

Could be made with more care
Overall a nice jacket, light and packable to a very small size.
The fabric doesn't seem to be that breathable though, and I was quite surprised by the uneven quality of the sewing, as one cuff hole is smaller than the other. So much smaller I really have to push to get my hand through it..

Nice but too roomy
Nice functionality but a bit to roomy. I would recommend sizing down. I'm definitely a Large (which I picked) otherwise but will probably not use it that much since I dont like to bulk to much under the shell. Sadly! Withstands light showers and have a very nice (yellow) colour!

Commuter lightweight jacket
Definitely not very breathable or even not breathable at all. Feeling steaming hot while riding. Zip is very hard to pull up from starter point, definitely impossible to do it with one hand while on the go even with the finger loop attached. Not worth it for the price, very very overprice for the poor quality wise. Didn't expect this from rapha's product. All my purchased with rapha so far has been outstanding. The only good thing to say about this jacket is very nice green bright colour almost feel like hi vis colour.

Not the best
Pretty disappointed with this jacket that is sold as waterproof but the mesh part between your shoulder isn’t with water dripping down the helmet, your back get literally soaked in very little time. For the price you pay and how it’s described I felt like this is a rip off !

So good I bought 2!
Such a great jacket I just bought a second 2 sizes smaller (Small) than I would for a Rapha jersey (Large) for a more aero fit on my road bike. Love the Hi-Viz detailing, the asymmetric zip. Fabric is windproof and super breathable, Just waterproof enough to get you the last 30minutes home if you get caught in a shower. The first one I bought in Medium is my go to jacket for casual cycling, running, walking and just hanging around town it looks so great on. Oversize casual fit if you buy according to the size chart. Only negative thing I have to say is the poppers that hold the hood rolled up are so tight you can't undo them without taking the jacket off, otherwise it feels like you'd tear the fabric.

Don’t commute looking like a super hero
Really nice quality. Don’t normally purchase expensive cycling clothes but glad I got this. The fit is just right for me for commuting without looking like Spider-Man. I’m 6’3” and got extra large. It’s large enough to get a thermal layer under or even a thin fleece for winter rides to work. Hood can be clipped back when not in use. I’d describe it as a slim fitting casual jacket. Cheaper commuter jackets tend to make me look like a football steward and surely the only person who ever pulled off wearing Lycra is Freddie Mercury Earl’s Court 1977 so this is a nice compromise.

Great jacket, and colour (navy).

Stoked on this jacket
This is a go to for me either as another layer above normal winter kit for extra wind-breaking or as a layer for visibility above street clothes for commuting. The fit is functional enough for a serious ride yet it is “normal” enough to put over street clothes for commuting.

Solid Performer
I recommend it. Incredibly lightweight. It is a great commuter, town jacket. It is not incredibly breathable, so I am not sure about a 3-hour ride, but it is so small and light, it will probably just live in a bike bag on longer rides as a just-in-case item. Yes, the sleeves are tight, but no big deal. I am always a Rapha Medium and given the less athletic cut, the small fits me perfectly. (5'6", 140). I like it. I wish there was a women's specific version for my wife. Also, the two hand pockets with zippers are great. I wish the lightweight trail jacket had those pockets. For reference, the material of the lightweight trail jacket is far superior, but again, as a daily commuter or even running jacket, this has been great.

Excellent windblocker
This is a great jacket, for rides on windy days, for commutes. I even wear out when I’m not biking, it’s light and is a good block for cutting, cold winds but it’s never very steamy. I like the pockets and the reflective back. Once on a ride it was getting warm, I was able to fold it into a small ball and stuff it in the back of my jersey. I do worry about snagging it on something and tearing the material though, but all around it’s a great jacket

Great windproof, showerproof jacket.
I bought this as a lighter alternative to my Rapha commuter jacket, which has served me well for the last four years. I’m glad to say that they have made improvements in the two areas that were needed. The hood folds away, when riding, using two popstuds around the collar. A much more effective way then the single strap on the commuter jacket which would chat air and flap around. Second improvement is the cuff. The commuter jacket had a double cuff, with a tight-fitting inner which always got in the way, so I cut them off after a couple of months. The lightweight commuter jacket has tighter cuffed which have better, multiple rings of elastic thread.
In all, a great addition to a Rapha commuter jacket when the heavier jacket would be to warm and wind proofing is needed on those cooler spring and fall commutes, just size down to avoid flapping at speed.

Lightweight and easy to carry
I have this jacket with me all the time. I forgot I have it in my bag. It is light and it does the job. Would have been useful a quick guide or video on how to pack it properly.

Go down a size from your rapha cycling jerseys
A lightweight, packable and bright (I went for the yellow/mustard colour) jacket. It won't keep you dry for long in heavy rain (but for the price I didn't expect that), but it's keeping me dry in the odd shower and a little drizzle. Great also as a wind jacket. Size wise, I originally went for the XXL as I wear the XXL Rapha cycling jerseys BUT these jackets are cut more generously so I downsized to an XL in the end.

Nice on the go jacket for spring / summer
Super lightweight jacket. Fabric is really thin while feeling durable. Not super breathable. Nice details on cuffs, zippers and reflective elements.

Not a fan of the sleeve cuffs or the hood stowage.
Not a fan of the elastic sleeve cuffs, too tight to slide the sleeves up above the elbows when i start to overheat. Not a fan of the hood snaps which don't stow the hood well when riding into the wind.

Disappointed in waterproofness!
Size is good, nice comfortable fit for commuting. I wear small for pro line, and the small jacket fits comfortably with a t-shirt underneath. This is definitely not waterproof, let alone water resistant, even with a drizzle, i was wet underneath after appx 5 minutes.

Never be caught out by a dodgy weather forecast
I wanted a lightweight relatively waterproof packable jacket to have ready just in case I get caught out by a dodgy weather forecast. The integrated jacket pocket bag was a little hard to work out ‘perhaps some instructions’ but once found is very handy. Packs small and I have used when I’ve been caught out by some chilly weather too. The styling is minimal with nice splashes of the subtle but clean rapha branding which I like too.

Very lightweight
The jacket is even more lightweight than I expected. Windproof indeed, but really more of a very thin shell - with no trace of insulation - than anything else. Flaps a bit in the wind over the shoulders at high speed, if not pulled all the way down.

Great for commuting
So far the jacket has been great. Size M was smaller than I anticipated (which is a good thing). The functions such as vents are ideal, and even though the weather in Sweden is still a bit cold.

Casual/Lifestyle Jacket.
Decent lightweight jacket.
Very tight at wrists and loose fit everywhere else.
Cheap/low quality zipper.
Because of the fit, I don't wear this on the bike, but it looks nice when worn casually.

Nice lightweight but it would benefit from adding perforation for breathability. I see it more as a light windbreaker that you can wear with an outfit rather than a usable cycling windbreaker.

Beware, you will get wet! Not fit for purpose!
This is not my only nor first Rapha product. I am extremely disappointed with this commuting jacket. Today I wore it for the first time, I’ve got caught in a shower and the water went right through. I’ve got drenched. Completely useless, it will not protect you from a shower as advertised. I’m arranging a return for a full refund, which Rapha staff agreed.

Extremely breathable, lacks rear pockets and I wish there were jackets in a different color since the black one is a bit boring.
