Perfect fit!
I bought this jacket a month ago. It fits me perfectly, it’s really comfortable during my rides. It’s good to use with an outside temperature between the 4 and 10 degrees. The rear pockets are easy to reach, with a big space to put your things inside. I bought a XS, I’m tall 166 cm and my weight it’s about 58 kilos.

Great, versatile jacket.
I bought this in October in anticipation of riding through the winter in New York. Paired with a long sleeve merino base layer, merino cap, and core winter bib tights, I was warm enough for 30F (-1C) riding - sometimes even lower when I set out in the morning. When the weather warmed up in early spring, I wore a sleeveless base layer underneath and the jacket performed nicely without overheating. The windproof front is amazing, and the rear does do a great job of breathing. The red looks great and I felt very visible up against a grey, foggy backdrop. I would buy this jacket again in a heartbeat - in fact I almost bought another in blue for the sake of variety, but it's already getting too warm.
I'm 5'8" with a 38 inch chest and 30inch waist, which puts me at a Medium in almost everything I buy, sometimes a Small. I had to return the Medium for the Large, and I am glad I did. In doing so, There was a little extra room in the shoulders and arms, which I reckon would give me some more room to layer if it gets really brutal out. So just keep in mind it's not exactly a performance/race cut. To me, that's fine, since winter is all about just getting out there and getting base miles. In the end, it's my toes, fingers, and face that need the most protection, but Rapha has all that covered as well. Thanks for a great jacket at a great price!

It's not what I wanted but I'm still satisfied.
I put three stars because I was expecting a more cold-resistant jacket. In the description the temperature range is missing, and the operator contacted assured me that the product was for low temperatures. Not being windstopper, it is an excellent mid-season jacket with a sleeveless jacket.

Breathable wind Resistant
I wasn't to sure about the fit of this jacket due to other reviews. However, I took the plunge and got one for myself to determine what the fuss was all about. I may say off the bike the shoulders do feel quite weird, but once you're tucked into riding position that feeling comes to past. The jacket can be worn in any type of fowl weather. I wore it in temperatures well into the low 20 degrees F mark and had no discomfort with the wind or temperature. The wind proofing is superb and breathable back materials allow significant evaporation. I will purchase again.

Perfect jacket for not too cold a winter day
Great quality for the price, if you intend to wear only a baselayer and like a close cut order your normal size. If you want the ability to also wear a jersey with baselayer size up. The jacket seems good down to about 45F with just a baselayer. Below that I’d recommend a wind vest for some added protection, or size up so you can fit a jersey. I’m very happy with the jacket overall and would highly recommend. This was a perfect addition to my collection as I already had a warmer winter jacket and this slotted right into a nice spot for days in the 45-50F range.

A Great Winter jacket
I have been wearing this everyday for commuting with only a base layer underneath . This jacket works well in keeping the winter at bay. I have been riding in temperatures from -2 to 7 c and its perfect. But it does get a bit warm at about 10c.

not stand up the expectations
I did bought this jacket a few weeks ago and was looking forward my first Rapha experience. I do know the brand and it looks great. Without any doubt, it has really something classy. But......., I find problems with the fitting. I never had any problems with any other brands - even the cheap ones sponsored at some cycling events, but this jacket doesn't fit right or felt comfortable. The sleeves were much to long of this S size, it was to tight under the arms, short in the front - and I'm only 172cm. Ordering a M size will for sure results in longer sleeves and probably will be wider in the waste. The all over impression was not great, a bit cheap detailed and the color is not as shown by the pic's on internet. It isn't GIRO like pink but more like Cyclaam/Red.

Brilliant Jacket
Breathable jacket that fits really well (XL - I'm 6' 1" and 86kg). Looks great too. Haven't' used it in very cold weather yet, but my best guess is that it would be good for 5c to 10c. Highly recommended!!

Too tight!
Unfortunately the M is too tight across the chest and shoulders despite me measuring and using the fitting guide. I am going to try a L.

Best jacket ever
I have had my core winter jacket for a month now and it has seen some harsh British winter like rain sleet and snow 70 mph winds. It was amazing in all of it. Love this jacket.

First Winter Cycling Jacket
This was my first winter jacket and although i can not compare with others i am very pleased with the purchase. Perfect for winter UK riding. So far i have been using on temperature range between 0 - 10deg. On 0deg ride I would normally have short sleeve merino base layer and was not cold at all. On 10 deg without the base layer otherwise you will overheat. Only improvement would for the material at the back of the sleeve had better wind protection as you can feel cold on your triceps, but after 30 min. into the ride that goes away. Highly recommend.

Good utility
A perfect jacket for chilly fall rides. I've mostly used it with a standard jersey beneath, but with a merino base layer it can handle the chilliest of days. Good wicking and water resistance.

Great jacket, but shoddy finish
The pocket zip died after ONE ride. Rapha don't cover zips, so I'm stuck with it. At least this is only a pocket zip. this is an otherwise fantastic jacket, great for those winter rides. I also have the pro team training jacket, and this is that little bit warmer, and that little more water resistant. Only giving three stars due to the pocket zip dying, otherwise I'd give it five.

Good material and simple design
It is nice jacket but do not think it is for winter unless you have warm layers. Go for one size up, it does not run small but this is jacket.

Pink like cheap ice cream
I bought the pink version of this jacket as I wanted to be seen, so from that point of view its a great success, I mean man it's bright! The fit is a little on the large size, but for a winter jacket that will have at least one long sleeve layer under it that's fine. Pockets are well laid out, and the fabric seems to keep the wind at bay, also it feels good and cosy

Rapha Core winter jacket
I have been riding it for some month and a half, continemtal climate, located between Croatia and Slovenia. It is some 30 rides now, winter rides with temperatures from -3°C to 6°C. I am amazed with it. It is wind and water proof for real! I was caught by rain three times, I stayed dry. When descending 60 km/h on temperature around 0°C it didn't let the cold air trough! I was wearing long sleeve jersey and a sleeveles base layer beneath. When my riding was at 6°C (which happend only once in the period, for the rest of it teperature avg was 2°C) I wore only a thicker long sleeve base layer beneath. It felt almost a bit too warm when ascending on a minor climbs.
If someone tells me what would your perfect winter cycling jacket look and feels like it would be axactly like this! Shorter front, perfect when pedaling, longer back for warming, different material treatment on the back for cooling, great collars and all that in a package that is unbelievably well balanced!
Even its visual design simplicity looks great! I haven't had red clor garment in my cycling warderobe for years now, so it's even from this point of view total plus for me.
I am 44, 182 cm, 75 kg, I took size L and am very pleased with the size (I could easily put winter jersey under it) Size M would fit too I believe, for even tighter fit.
So it is 10/10 for me! Thanks Rapha!

Great value
I wore this jacket twice in the past one week when the day temperature swing between 35 - 50F. Adding a base layer underneath (the Rapha Pro Team long sleeve base layer with face cover) and the brevet insulated gilet, I was pretty much in a really good place. This jacket is not totally windproof, so if your ride involves long descent, I'd recommend adding a gilet or a windproof jacket as another layer.
Haven't tested this jacket in a wet condition. But when it's wet, I'm planning to put a waterproof layer on top of it anyway.

Great Jacket
I wore this jacket recently on a ride in 25 degree F temperature wearing a base layer and tights under this jacket and was incredibly warm. As it warmed up, melted snow started to spray my back, but I was never wet or cold. The jacket fits nicely, and the high-vis pink is extremely visible yet attractive, receiving many compliments. I love this jacket.

Seriously BUY THIS!!!
- My size "athletic build" 42" chest, 32" waist I chose an XXL to give me extra room to layer underneath. A size XL would have been a perfect size for me if i just wanted to layer a long-sleeve base layer underneath.
- I chose the slightly larger size because I use this jacket for my cycling commute. It often has to double as just a regular jacket on bus rides home on evenings when I don't ride home. If I was doing more regular road riding I would have gone for the XL since that it has a closer and more aerodynamic fit.
- the mixture of the the windproof front and the breathable back is AMAZING!
- I like the way that the extra layer of fabric from the rear pockets almost act like "kidney warmers" for your lower back
- the thick band at the bottom of the front of the jacket does a wonderful job of keeping a draft out of the front of the jacket.
- the neckband is well fitted and can fit a buff down it without feeling constricted.
- I have ridden down to -5 C with just a merino base layer and on a medium-hard intensity ride was very warm. With an extra layer underneath I could definitely go a few degrees colder. (personal milage will vary though with temp ratings depending on where you are and what you are used to)
- absolutely love the light blue colour!!!! It is so bright and fresh looking. You just have to be aware and accepting that dirt is going to show up on this colour more than others colours.

Keeps you warm and dry. Good value.
Nice, comfortable and warm winter jacket with good protection against wind and rain yet good ventilation thanks to the fabric on the back. Keeps you warm without any problems at least down to 0 C. The long arms and tight cuffs are great. Unobtrusive and clean design. Durable, withstands wear and frequent washing. Highly recommend it.

Cracking winter jacket.
I was caught in two minds as to whether or not I needed this jacket, I’m so glad I purchased it, it’s a cracking winter jacket. I’ve ridden out over the last few weeks in a range of cold temperatures, some above freezing, some below, and with only a short sleeve rapha jersey underneath, I’ve been more than warm enough! The front is a waterproof material, and the back a slightly different, breathable material, the two work really well together. I opted for a black jacket and it looks smart, I’m really pleased with it.

Good value, warm and versatile
This jacket is a bit of a stealthy one in Rapha’s range. It doesn’t look like much in the images, but it’s a well designed simple piece. But performance wise, it’s fantastic - the fleecy inside will keep you warm between late autumn and early spring, and the fabric keeps off light rain easily. You’ll want a rain jacket in the back pocket just in case, but generally this will hold its own. Arms are slightly on the long side, but that’s function over aesthetics - a longer arm is better than one that’s too short.

Warm and Comfortable
This is an great jacket, overall. I have worn it in temperatures ranging from 27 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit, and it has performed well. It is a pretty aero, close fitting jacket, so size up if you plan to wear layers under it. Comfortable on the bike, which is all that matters.

Great all round jacket
Bought this mainly for daily commute and weekend rides. It's a great jacket, warm and good in a light drizzle. Tight enough not to drag, but loose enough that wearing it on th commute doesn't make you look like you're taking the ride too seriously. Solid bit of gear.

Core winter jacket
So far tested in temperatures around 0 degrees. In combination with the Classic long sleeve jersey and the Merino long sleeve t-shirt, it is a perfect combination. I appreciate the windproof front panel and the back made of insulated material.
