Just what I needed
I am commuting ~16 miles in temps 25-35ºF, and having to wear glasses means that traditional balaclavas are not an option. This collar paired with a warm cycling hat is perfect! Thin, breathable and warm – this collar ideal for winter commuting and well worth the money. Below 25ºF, I'd go for the deep winter collar.

Ride in the cold? YOU NEED ONE!
I literally use this every single day, whether it’s commuting on my single speed or out on the road bike for a few hours. I have millions of other buffs, but this Merino Winter Collar is so much better; stops the draft getting down your neck, regulates your temperature better, it’s also breathable and warm!

Perfect for those chilly morning starts
I bought this help the commute more comfortable. Now here is something where Rapha has sat down and said, 'how can make this work?'. Intially I thought it was too thin, but it's just perfect. It keeps my ears and chin warm and I can pull it up up my head if needs be. The way you can wear this is endless.

Just what I needed
This neck gaiter (collar) is the perfect accessory for cold days in the pacific northwest. I wear it loosely under the chin, but it can be easily pulled up to cover more of the face. I would not go heavier weight for our climate, but imagine colder parts of the world might like the deep winter option.

Flexible snood for mild days
Good quality material, very flexible, good to keep chill off mouth nose ans ears as well as the neck area. A little too flexible so drops down a little too much for me, challenging too if you near glasses but good item to have especially with Covid and the all important coffee shop stop at Cinnamon.

Great for the coldest days
This collar/snood is really for winter days below 40 degrees F. Above that and it feels too warm. It gets the job done and is especially appreciated when riding into a headwind. The only weird thing is how wide it is at the bottom. A lot of farbric just bunches up at the base...not really needed.

Winter collar
This winter collar is an excellent item if you want to keep the wind off your neck, it’s also long enough to pull up over your ears when it’s cold, I like this collar as it’s not thick and uncomfortable like some others, it’s also very warm for a thin garment, so for this reason I give it 5 stars

An improved buff!
Fits great and keeps me warm! A bit mor specialized than a typical buff, so it it’s less flappy around the next, and tucks under the collar of a long sleeve jersey/winter jacket nicely. I’m liking it so much that I’ll likely use it when hiking and trail running as well instead of my normal buff.

Stylish & Effective
The Rapha Winter Collar is a winter riding essential. Very pleased with the functionality of this collar in variable weather conditions including wind and rain, with temperatures ranging from 35 to 50 Fahrenheit. Superbly comfortable and highly packable, yet another great product from Rapha!

Perfect winter garment, great off the bike too
I really love this collar. The material is soft and comfortable, yet seems to be very durable after multiple machine washes. I’ve worn it down to 0°C and it keeps the neck and chin very snug, without overheating. I’ve also been wearing it off the bike as a nice alternative to a regular scarf.

Warm, cosy and secure
This is a simple yet brilliant product. Being narrower at the top and wider at the bottom assures a snug and secure fit. It fits better than any other neckwarmer I have used. I definetley reccomend if you want something extra to keep the chill out. It stays in place and doesnt bunch up.

Surprisingly effective
Rapha make excellent range of accessories; hats, gloves. arm warmers, knee warmers etc etc. I confess to having most of them.
The winter collar is probably the best, it's light, simple and surprisingly effective. This is my second buy purchased to replace the well used original

Nice Bit of Kit
I am always happy with the quality and fit of Rapha products and this is no exception. Riding in the winter, I find I want to keep my face warm up to my nose, somehow so far, I am having probs working my collar round my helmet strap, but I imagine I'll get on top of it.

Superb - simple and well made
This is obviously very simple, but it's a good fit, not too warm but really nice on a cold day. So much so I use it for cycling training and for other outdoor use too - it just keeps the heat in when you need it, and very packable compared to the alternatives.

Love the fit
Fabric is soft and super breathable. I find it super easy to ride for 1+ hour with it pulled up over my face. The contoured fit around the chest helps to keep the wind off. Size is perfect for me (female, 164cm) however might be a bit small for a larger male.

Much better than other collars
I've used other collars before from brands like Buff. This one feels much nicer since it's made of merino wool. I especially love the rounded design towards the front of your neck as it prevents cold air from leaking in if you have a jersey with round neck.

Excellent Buff
A great product - keeps the neck warm, and can then be pulled up according to conditions to cover chin, mouth and nose - ideal for those frosty windy morning rides and chilly descents. The merino is super soft, light weight and fits like a glove.

Very comfortable and versatile
I have used this pretty much everyday since I got it, works perfect for the short commute to work as well as on a walk in spring weather. Very comfortable. Only downside is the size, it is very roomy, would have preferred it in different sizes.

Perfect collar!
Warm, moisture-wicking, and versatile in cold and cooler temperatures. It stretches to be able to cover the face and retains its shape. I have yet to wash it but will be soon, and I'm confident given how fantastic the quality of the material.

Lightweight yet so warm
I absolutely love this. It's so lightweight and comfortable to wear yet the woolly fabric keeps you snug and warm. I love how you can stretch it to cover your face especially going downhill against the freezing wind. Washes well too.

A winter must have.
A simple lightweight winter collar, that provides cold wind protection. I’ve been wearing this over the top of my winter jersey and have been pleasantly surprised how well it works. Definitely recommend for those cold winter rides.

Winter is coming.
I combined this collar with a winter Rapha cap. Between them they kept the temperatures around my neck and ears bearable during a really lively cold snap which saw temperatures in the North hover around 0 c. Worth the extra luxury

Really nice product
So smooth and nice on the skin. Would have been nicer a little longer but really really nice to put this on to block the wind going down the shirt.
I use a merino snood on top in really cold weather to cover the lower face.

Comfortable as a collar
It works well as a collar as it’s nice light and snug however, I would have preferred if it was slightly longer at the back, that way you could pull it over your head to keep your ears warm without it riding up at the back.

Merino Neck collar
sometimes I wear it backward to keep the back of my neck warm with my head down...
thin but warm, shove it under the collar to keep the wind out, love it - gonna buy another one (in case this one stinks before washing)

Nice & lightweight protection
Straight forward and simple winter collar. Very lightweight and provides a surprisingly good level of protection for the thinness of the material. Easy to breathe through and you don’t really notice it during rides.

Another Classic
Bought this to wear on rides but Ive found it so good it lives in my coat pocket now and is worn most days. Like all other raphia goods, its perfectly crafted simplicity. Bring back the striped ones as I missed out.

Nice winter protection
I used this three times in 40 F degrees weather and find it works well for warming neck area and blocking cold air. It stretches easily to fit various positions. I clean it by hand washing in mild sports detergent.
