Poor quality
These socks were really of poor quality, unworthy of the reputation of Rapha. I have worn them only twice before the left sock had a hole. Would not recommend this item!

Cozy and definitely a must
Live in Michigan and don’t have issues saddling up and going for a ride in 30-40 degree F weather as long as the roads are clear. Purchased a pair of pro team winter socks and wearing them in combination with either OMW boots/liners on real cold windy days or road shoes with gore tex shoe covers on warmer sunnier days keep my toes/feet very comfortable. These socks wick away moisture therefore not allowing your feet to become cold and numb. They are not bulky and on really cold days I can utilize foot warmers inside my shoes for added heat. It is of utmost importance, in my opinion, when riding during the winter months to keep all extremities as warm as possible in order to enjoy your ride. Highly recommend these socks also because they are very cozy and comfortable.

Perfect winter socks
I've had Pro Team socks in the past and these are thicker and warmer than the others. Keep me warm below zero (celcius) with some overshoes, and at just above zero without. Use them on the commute for a flash of extra colour and to keep me warm on those shorter runs. Can't think how they could be improved.

Toe box wears through too quickly.
These are at best average as the toe box wears through. I have 4 pairs and they have all done the same. Everything else is fine, fit is good and they keep your feet toasty. My Rapha Merino Winter socks are still going strong after nearly 10 years.

Super snug, but not built to last
Very soft, comfy and warm for winter rides. Keep toes nice and toasty. Only downside is softness doesn't translate to durability and I wore through the toe after only 3 rides - (and yes, I had trimmed my toenails before you ask!)

Best winter socks for racing shoes
these socks perform really well: warm and not too thick. I. have Merino socks from several other brands, but these are the best in cold winter conditions around 0 degrees Celsius

Good but not for deep winter
Well made, but fit is a little tight and not enough insulation

Excellent Winter Socks
I have to say that I'm really pleased with these winter socks. The material is snug but compliant, so you can pull them on easily but then your feet feel really cossetted. I have ridden them in some pretty extreme conditions, pouring with rain and close to freezing. Even with shoe covers, my feet did inevitably get wet but they were never cold. This was pretty good since everyone else around me couldn't feel their toes! Would recommend highly.

Nice socks, but I still suffer from cold feet
These socks feel nice against the skin and the thickness isn’t so much that I need to size-up my summer shoes.
However, I do still get cold feet in these, even in the 5-10°C range after 1-1.5 hours and with Pro Team overshoes. I know this is a general problem for cyclists, and the ‘deep winter’ socks may be more suitable, but don’t expect these will necessarily keep your feet warm for >1 hour of cycling, even multiple degrees above freezing.

Comfy AF!
These socks are pretty much perfect! The fit is fantastic, not too tight and not too loose. The height is great and I wear them for more than just riding. They are great for walking/hiking in too. I have found merino socks in the past to be either too bulky or too thin, these are spot on. They don’t insulate maybe as well as I thought they might, but that is a minor quibble. I have gone back to Rapha to get some more.

Comfortable, warm, but not deep winter
I like these socks and will likely purchase more of them. Their weight is comfortable for late fall/spring or maybe mild winter, but I wouldn't use them without toe covers or additional warmth on mornings in the mid 30's F. I'm comfortable with them around 45*F and up.
These socks stay in place nicely, keep your feet toasty in chilly temps, and they don't add a ton of bulk to narrow cycling shoes.

Great winter socks
Really, really good product. Very warm - I've found them fine on cold rides below 5 degrees, inside a shoe with neoprene overshoes on. Super comfortable. I am going to buy a lot of these over the years as they are so nice I would pick them over any other sock off the bike too. I believe in paying for quality, but even then these are slightly expensive and I wouldn't want to see them rise in cost.

Comfy and warm
Great socks for a wide range of cooler temperatures. These will cover you from 40*F up to 60*F. Below 40*F I would suggest the deep winter socks, but that is just personal preference. I’m sure these would work great for even cooler temperatures when paired with a good insulated shoe cover. Very comfortable merino wool, can’t go wrong.

Perfect Winter Socks
This is how winter cycling socks should be - warm and long enough up the calf, plus they've got padding around the toes and heel. They're effectively a hiking boot sock and work all the better for it. I can't think of much more to say other than they're the best winter cycling socks Rapha have produced so far - worth getting a set!

Best socks ever. Worth purchasing!
These socks are amazing! My favourite socks in my whole sock drawer are a pair of Rapha merino socks from years and years ago so I picked these up to boost my order over the free delivery amount and i'm very happy I did. These are cool colour, compressive and so warm. I like wearing these on and off the bike. Great length too.

Comfortable winter socks
Excellent wool winter socks. Bought two pairs. I can always use for hiking as well. Super comfortable, good fitting and warm enough to about minus one. For me it was odd in that at times during my gravel ride the toes felt cold and sometimes not in the range of one celcius to five celcius. Everyone is different. ;-)

Feel nice but don’t last
They are super soft and warm but they just don’t last. This is my second pair, warranty on first, and these are no different. I have used them normally for a few weeks and already showing thinning on toes and heels. So sad, love them otherwise but that’s too much money for disposable socks.

Definitely recommend
Liking the a lot. Riding in SoCal’s chilly wet winter, temps often in low 40s. These socks do a good job of keeping the ride comfy, including not being bulky in cycling shoes. The Emergency-Orange color is a plus. Material is wearing very well, they look to have a good wear life ahead.

Sturdy and comfortable
These socks are bulletproof and comfortable. I replaced the merino trail socks with these because the heel of the trail socks wore out. The Pro Team socks are much tougher and more comfortable. I even like to wear them around the house with slippers as well as on the bike.

Stand out socks
I have always suffered from cold feet whilst riding in the winter months. I have tried many makes of socks but non have come close to these socks from Rapha. They are the best I’ve tried and feet remain warm throughout my ride An excellent product.

Toast toes
I wore these on a pretty chilly day. Dec 31st to be exact, ending my 500km Festive 500. It was about -5. I did wear a toe warmer just to add some extra heat but overall they were great. My feet didn't seat and they wicked well. Would recommend!

Great winter socks
Warm socks for colder rides and commutes between 5-15 degrees. Tend to slip down the calves a bit during the ride. Maybe size down for better fit. Great to combine with (non deep-) winter overshoes for temps between freezing and 5 degrees.

Warm toes
Really warm comfy socks. I’ve done a few 6 degree rides with no issue of numb feet. The extra padding on the heel & toes is super soft & keeps the toes warm. If you’re shoes are snug in summer socks, it’ll be a squeeze in these.

Good socks really do matter.
The Pro Team Winter socks are terrific. They are just the right weight for cold weather riding in my winter boots. Not only are they warm, but the fit and feel are first rate. As well made a sock as I've ever purchased.

Best version yet
I've had a few different versions of the Pro Team Winter Socks, and these are by far the best yet. Much thicker underfoot, longer cuff, comfier material. Oh, and they keep your feet warm on the bike as well.

Should have bought these years ago. Equal warmth to my mid weight Smart wool merino socks, but thinner and better compression. Easily my favorite socks for mild to cold weather (both on and off the bike!).

I've been using Merino socks from top brands (other than Rapha) during the Winter rides but from now on these Rapha Pro Team will be my choice for the coolest days in the saddle !!! Highly recommended.

A great addition to your winter kit
Great fit and warm, can be worn without overs or on very cold days with overshoes/ toe covers. Nice colour and detailing. The have been worn a lot this winter and have retained shape and stretch well.
