Surpassed expectations
These are more comfortable than I expected, even in very hot weather, and so far have stayed put with no sliding about even after 20 miles of rigorous and sweaty MTB riding on varied terrain. Haven’t crashed in them yet but it’s nice to know I may be avoiding another trip to the ER for stitches. I was on the upper end of the small range per the size measurements, ordered the small but it was too tight so exchanged up. The medium feels great so maybe these run a little smaller than they advised.

Great Lightweight Trail Kneepads
These kneepads are my first product from Rapha and so far I'm very happy with them. They offer a good compromise of protection between leg warmers and enduro pads. They are light, breathe well, are and super soft. The back of the knees to tend to bunch a little bit after a long pedal but most knee pads do. The SuperFabric glides perfectly under riding pants without bunching up the pants. Too soon to tell comment on their durability but the build quality is great and the materials are high quality so I'm optimistic I'll have them for a season or two!

Great pads, but heads up, paint
The pads are excellent. I like to think I'm radder than I really am, so I got to test them out real quick. Ate it *proper* a good few times in these, with knees & shins taking good hits - protected further down than expected. Have used similar products from Pearl Izumi and 7idp, and these are more comfortable, have bigger (in coverage) and thicker pads, and are more durable than I thought. The sleeve fabric did show signs of dirt from hitting in the aforementioned bails, but no damage remains after washing.
The SuperFabric, however, is a bit of a toss up. Yeah, it's more durable than the rest of the pad and obviously hasn't torn, but it's a ceramic and (comments on fit/pedaling aside) it's making my top-tube look like I took a fine file to the edges, obviously wearing paint. I have an Al frame so I don't really care, and I'll keep using the pads regardless, but the other pads didn't do that to my bike and I sucked just as badly - if not worse - while using them... and they didn't tear, either.
If you're reading, Rapha - pls reconsider the ceramic-dot knees, and then maybe make some trail elbow pads with similar removable Rheon for washing. The fit/performance/washability is bang-on, imho.

Trail knee pads
These are the right pads for me. I’ve ridden with them for a month now on multiple rides over 2hours in the socal summer heat. I’d compare the warmth to lightweight knee warmers. Pretty good for knee pads if you ask me - the best protection is the stuff you wear. I tried the Fox Enduro D30 in a size large before these and those seams broke on the first wear before returning. These Rapha pads fit perfect in medium for me. I’d buy again once these wear out.

Good light pads for trail riding
The trail knee pads are extremely comfortable and breathe very well, once on I don’t really notice them at all. The inserts form well over my knees, this seemed to improve at the start once they warmed up a little. The supporting fabric above and below the structural are is a bit too stretchy - I end up hoisting the top silicone band a long way up my thighs to get enough tension in the fabric to keep the pads in place over my knees. Crash protection not yet tested.
Reviewed after about 1 month of riding twice a week (long trail rides).

Happy with them this gar
I have been riding with these pads for two to three months and so far have held up well aside from the couple of holes from my pedals. They fit well and have been much better than others staying in place. Impressed that they are designed to fit on a specific leg. Offer great protection but do not feel bulky at all.

Great pads, but one major flaw.
The rheon pad material is fantastic as well as the silicon grippers. However, the fabric that makes up the back-half of the knee pads is not flexible or stretchy enough. It chafes and really irritated the back of my knees where the hamstring tendons are. I hate this because they are comfortable and fitted well and the pad material is always flexible, but I cannot wear them riding anymore because the knee pad material rubs significantly behind my knees.

Great Fit and Very Comfortable!
Wore these for the first time last week. It started at 55 degrees and ended at about 70 degrees. I barely noticed I had these on. I was afraid I’d get too warm since I wear shin guards too - but I was fine. I didn’t have any chafing or pinching or itching with these knee pads . I didn’t crash so I can’t speak to that but as far as comfort goes these were great! They stayed put too! I bought my hub a set as well and he was very happy with the fit and comfort! It’s great Rapha makes knee pads big enough to fit him!

These are best knee pads I have worn. I have tried a couple other brands and have had trouble on longer rides with getting rubbed raw on certain contact spots. The new Rapha pad fit is great, has no spots that rub and have the best leg gripper to keep them in place. The inside is supper comfortable next to the skin. The padded area is covered by a super durable material, but still seem to breath very well.

Very satisfied
PROs: Extremly well shaped (long enough in both directions of the leg), mine as well as the ones of my wife (she is also very satisfied with the pads). Safe, but not too tide fit. Even under warm condition not too unpleasant.
NEUTRAL: As one cannot avoid to sweat, it would be nice if the protective pads removal were easier. To me it is too complicated so that I leave em in for machine washing (every 2-3rd ride). So far so good. Let us see how the pads last on the long run.
CONs: nope!

So far so good
I have been using POC VPD System knee pads which are very pedal friendly but a bit bulky under MTB pants. Got the Rapha pads as more slimline. XS size fits well under XS pants. Pedal friendly is a 9 out of 10 so about the same as POC ones. They don’t slip whilst riding. I mainly rode single track and they are good whilst ascending. POC ones likely to give more protection around very top of knee. Only four stars as can’t vouch for crash protection.

These are the Pads you have been searching for...
I was looking for a pair of pads that were comfy to wear all day out peddling. I am glad to say that these are the 3rd set of kneepads that I have purchased and they are the most comfortable pads for all day riding. They do not slip, they slide on & off easily unlike my previous pads, they are comfortable to peddle in, there are no seams or stitching that rub and provide decent protection. They might get slightly warm in summer but don't they all.

Great pad for xc and trail riding
Very comfy kneepad and breathable. Fabric is pretty lightweight. Any pedal strike hits the pad and your getting a hole in them. Also have some tearing around the top of the pad from pulling the pad up onto my knee for descents. Probably would size up from recommended sizing if you ride fire roads and pull your pads down when you climb. Also next pair I will keep for xc days and mellow after work rides and use a heavier pad for steeper days.

So comfy
These kneepads can be worn all day with no issues. The length of the knee sleeve is great and the grippers never slip. The material on face of pad does kinda scratch the frame, but if you wear pants or have frame protection its no issue. Would love to see a little more cooling version, but these are an amazing product, winter especially. These are light protection trail pads, but provide good protection on impact and don't slip.

Great pads
The Rapha Trail Knee pads are great. They fit really well. They don't move while pedaling. I don't feel them once they're on. They can be a little hard to pull up, but I learned from another reviewer that putting them on backwards is easier, this helped a little.
I like that I can easily remove the pad for washing. I knocked them one star as I think they are a tad long on my 30" inseam legs.

Awesome Pads
I have used a variety of knee pads and these are by far the most comfortable. I have worn them all day in the recent 30 degrees and for got all about them. They stay where you put them even on XC pedal days.
Whilst not the highest degree of protection, a set of pads you wear is preferable to those you leave behind because they are uncomfortable or too hot to pedal in.
Top marks to Rahpa !

Very comfy pads
Low profile knee pads with good sleeve coverage, as well as extreme comfort when compared to Dakine Slayer MK2. The low profile is particularly good when wearing close fitted trousers. I've yet to wear these in warm weather so can't comment on their comfort then, although there is a sensation akin to air coming through the pad directly when at high speeds.

Comfy & stylish.
This is my first pair of protective knee pads and I’ve yet to have a crash in them, however they are very comfortable to the point you forget your wearing them, they’re not too bulky, and in anything below 15°C are handy for keeping the chill off your knees. The protection covers a good part of the upper shin as well as the kneecap.

Solid choice for bigger pedaling days
Comfortable, sizing true and flexible. Like 3/4 extensions, no issue with staying in place. My first 2hr single track ride with plenty of pedaling and hardly knew they were there. Granted, one ride and no comment on resilience in crash or wash, but with that type of ride I am confident its a great test.

Quality and comfort!
These knee pads are excellent! They are very comfortable to to wear and can be worn all day long without that annoying uncomfortable feeling behind the knees. Quality seems very high and the protective inserts are easy to remove for washing. The inserts are a little harder to reinstall but that’s ok.

Awesome pads
Have used various sleeve style knee pads from the big name brands and find that the Rapha are faraway the best for days involving pedalling. The materials are great and the grips on the thighs maintain the positioning readily. Easy to wash up as well by simply removing the padding materials.

Surprisingly good
You will forget you are wearing them. They are very comfortable, and they stay in place for the whole ride. Haven’t had the “chance” to test them on a spill, but having them has definitely pushed my confidence up… so it should be a matter of time before I find out if they work well.

Good trail knee pads
Comfortable fit and breathable. Survived a decent crash recently but ripped after getting caught on my pump cage. Some thin protection on the side of the knee might be beneficial. Good knee pads overall and no rub/chafing on my knees or shins like my last couple of knee pads have.

Best yet
Best knee pads I’ve owned. Just back from a four day trip in the Lakes, put the pads on in the morning and took them off at 5 each day. Didn’t know I was wearing them as so comfy. As I rode like a God I didn’t off so can’t comment on their abilities to stop knees getting smashed.

Potential to be very good.
A size small doesn't provide enough length above the knee to prevent it being pulled down with the action of cycling. This left me constantly pulling them back up which intern became very annoying. I contacted Rapha about maybe getting them altered and was told to do it myself.

Good lightweight kneepads
Good lightweight knee pads that you don't seem to notice much when pedalling. Haven't crashed in them yet so don't know how good they are that way. Like the different coloured tabs on them as it makes it easier to tell left from right without having to read the labels

Great comfort, small sizing
The knee pads are great. They provide protection and are VERY comfortable to wear. Even after 2 hours of riding they stayed in place. No slipping!
Sizing is a bit small though. I measured my legs and I needed a Medium of Large, but I settled with XLarge.
