Not what they used to be
These boxers used to be thiker material. They still have the gusseted crotch which is great for commuting but the material is so thin holes start to form after just a few times wesring them while biking a few miles to work.

Design change makes no sense
I have been wearing Rapha boxers for years and then they disappeared from sales for months on end. The new design has no opening at the front which frankly makes them useles to wear.

Pros and cons
Firstly, I have owned multiple pairs of the original version of these and wouldn't wear anything else.
(although lately the excessively large care tags are a pain.)
This new version seems to be made of a lighter less supportive material. The legs seem to be shorter and "ride up". However the disappearance of the fussy useless fly detail is a welcome improvement.
For comparison the original would be five stars.

High price without quality
I wore these boxers very few time and found a hole on the left part near the label. Useless for such a high price.

Save your butt
I ditched the lycra recently on our big 3000+km tour and instead used the merino boxers and a pair of generic shorts and the butt faired so much better. The boxers are hygenic, breathe well and no rub marks. The new model has no fly opening but all ok as less friction points

Comfy but handle with care
They fit well, really well. Be very careful when putting on - I managed to put a 2cm tear in the side of the leg, pulling up. Annoying after wearing twice.

Not the best fit from
Not the best and white is a bad option for jocks!
They’re not a great fit if you like a nice comfy fit, too big and you’re all over the place, two small and they just ride up your crack a bit. Not great.

Great boxers, run a little small
Great boxers, run a little small, I've bought four pairs and two came with a fly and two did not, which is odd. Not a huge deal but a little mystery.

Lighter, not Better.
I know, Merino Under Wear? If your working 16-20 hour days? These make the time more comfortable. These new ones though? Thinner and not as robust as the Pre-2019 versions. They Feel "Cheap". Still will purchase more, but only when on Sale.

Great for those who don’t do padded….
Although I cycle long distances I don’t like padded shorts, relying instead on a brooks saddle and boxers. These are brilliant at keeping things in place and reducing bunching around the legs. The lack of a fly reduces drafts in cold weather and isn’t a problem while using cycling long tights.

OK +
Very alpha male boXers. Wide and loose with no hold what so ever and it may roll up your legs If you Are not aware. Good fabric and the seams in the right places. However, I recomend to sice down at least one mabe two sices. If there was a female version I would probably go for this next time…

The best boxers money can buy
I've been wearing Rapha merino boxers every day for about five years now. They're vastly more comfortable, I find, than any other underpants I've ever tried. They're expensive, and they're not nearly as hardwearing as some synthetic underpants, but in my opinion for the comfort they're well worth it.

Best boxers but pricey
I’ve been wearing different versions of this for the past ~8 years. Best boxers out there but pricey. I like the new model without the fly.
I’ve tried other so-called natural fiber boxers from various brands but none of them got as well or last as long.

Perfect for the cycling commute
As a regular commuter by bike I wanted a simple, comfortable alternative to wear padded shorts on my 5 Mike/8km route to work.
I saw these reviewed on a cycling. test. Tge rest, as they say, is a history of providing just enough of what you need.

My Go To Boxers
An everyday pair of comfortable, durable boxer shorts that do exactly what they say on the tin! They wash well as long as you follow the laundry instructions & dry quickly for overnight trips if travelling light is the order of the day.

Another great buy from Rapha.
Bought two pairs of size Small black Merino Boxers. Superb fit, quality and style. A comfortable pair of boxers and compliment the core shorts bought recently. Very pleased with these items. Happy to recommend these Rapha shorts.

Rapha comfort for off the bike
I bought these to extend the comfort I enjoy from Rapha’s merino t-shirts and polo shirt and love them so much that they have replaced all my other underpants. However, I have never worn them on the bike.

Still some of the best
Still some of the best, long lasting and comfortable out there. Use for a 30 mile round commute and every day use. Remain in excellent condition. Yet to wear any out.
