Excellent shorts, not just for winter
These are simply excellent shorts. My second pair. They are comfortable, durable, and look great. I’m 6 foot with 31” waist and slim build and I bought the medium which are a reassuringly snug fit. I think they are warm enough for riding in proper cold weather when paired with the matching leg or knee warmers or riding on their own in an English spring or autumn. I’ve bought quite a few other brands of bib shorts and I think these are the most comfortable. One of the best items I’ve bought from Rapha.

warm n cozy
These have been absolutely wonderful for temps around 50-70 F. The compression is on point. It's not easy being green, but it the shade goes well with seemingly everything. Have no fear, these bib shorts will keep you performing like a champ my dear. Just be prepared for those being green with envy as you flash them the RAPHA logo on your way to a KOM.

Excellent short for the value.
Warm for those cold days, maybe too compressive for my liking, writings came of after first wash.

Great winter shorts with leg warmers
Great pair of bibs, worn with leg warmers through the coldest weather and a great option for when the weather starts to warm slightly with knee warmers. They are thick and very close fitting. I am a large in most rapha gear and These are slightly tighter than normal (or the material is less stretchy!).

Superior winter bib shorts.
Superior winter bib shorts. Less stretchy in fit, but w/ excellent DWR to shed water. Excellent in cool to cold temps. As I've not bought Rapha bibs in a couple of years, I tried both M and L. I'm 6'3" 175 lb and the M are an excellent fit. The L were far too loose.

Warm and comfy winter bibs
Really warm and comfy bibs. They are so warm to wear in early spring and automn. Together with knee warmers they are a perfect match. I found them alittle more snug in size than my other Rapha bibs, so maybe step up a size can be a good idea

Premium fabric and fit.
I'm 184cm tall 77kg, 82cm waist, 96cm Chest, 84cm inseam, 60cm thigh circumference. I ordered a large and these are a really snug fit on the my thighs, but plenty of room elsewhere. The fabric has a real premium feel, a soft brushed inner offering compressive support once they're on. First ride I wore these on was just above freezing with wet roads combined with the Pro Leg warmers, the DWR kept my legs bonedry despite the road spray, riding at around 200w they were plenty warm enough. Chamois is soft and feels edgeless they way its stitched in. Very comfy.

Great quality and keeps me warm!
The is a heavy duty bib. I got it in the same size I get my other bibs in (L) so no need to size up here. It's sturdy and keeps me warm without overheating. Amazing quality, as it's the case with Rapha products. I live in Southern California and I Highly recommend it.

Legendary winter bib got even better structure
The usual Rapha cut. I’m medium fits perfectly as normal protean bibs in summer but these winter one is way warmer and more grip on the thigh area so no free air will create a heat lost in winter. Perfect for sub 5°C … changing climate like the Alps may be too warm at the bottom. Also the increase grip will not affect the thicker pro team knee or leg warmer to be put on and have extra hold on the warmers

Quality Build, Runs Small
Quality build, Super tight...snug, they run small. I rode these 4 times for about 120 miles. And between 30-50F degrees. Once they get moving on the bike they feel good. Plenty warm *two rides were with leg warmers and two without. Leg warmers made them feel even more snug around the leg grippers.
The seems and materials are pro. I was a little disappointed in the chamios, was expecting the same as in the pro training bibs, but it's not quite it. On sale, these are great, size up.

Pro Team Winter Bibs - You need some!
Amazing bibs. Super compressive - to the point they feel too tight to get on to start with. Once on, they feel amazing, and even more so once on the bike. Warm, water resistant, super comfy. Great for temps around 7-16 deg (so perfect for much of the year in the UK…) I’m 90kg, 178cm and wear a Large, same as most of my other Rapha products. Get some, you won’t regret it.

First Rapha bibs - no reservations
Seriously well made and supportive pair of bibs, tough fabric that feels like it will last for years with furry internal face for plenty of warmth. 6'1" and 72kg, medium was ideal, although seemed very tight around leg grippers to start with. Pro Team fit not recommended for any other than thin bods! Slightly odd product, being shorts for winter, but I bought to wear under longs I've got that have no pad. With knee warmers, these will be great on coolish spring days. Pad seems excellent, though I've not done any long rides yet.

Best bib shorts that Rapha makes? I think so.
I absolutely love these bib shorts. For whatever reason, the winter version of the pro team bib shorts are even more comfortable than the regular version. The compression fit feels quite tight at first, but provides extremely good comfort on the bike. The fit helps keep the pad in place as well, and I seriously wish I could wear these all year as I stay comfortable longer on the bike in these. Very versatile and I have worn these anywhere from 38*F to 60*F as temperatures have swung throughout a ride.

Good but not perfect
Pretty good shorts for the Winter. Feel really warm in 5-10 degree Celsius weather. Size wise they are a little tight. The biggest complaint I have is that the shorts are somewhat slippery on the saddle. I've never had this issue before

Winter bibs
Another WINNER FROM RAPHA! GO KNEE OR LEG WARMERS DOWN IN THE 40°F RANGE UP TO 60 WITHOUTOVERHEATING. Below 40 is your option but the bibs can handle them temps too, went XLas most proteam fits me 6ft/195lb frame

Not great
Big fan of Rapha bibs but not these! The material is thick and unforgiving. They were so constricting everywhere that I just could imagine being in them for a ride of any significant length. Returned them.

Snug Shorts
These are very nice shorts for late autumn/early winter (UK). So far used them (with knee warmers) down to 5C and I generally feel the cold quite a bit. Fit is very similar to normal Pro team shorts long version, but iwth slightly more coverage on body. Gripper on legs is great for keeping warmers in place. The fabric is quite a bit thicker and stiffer than regular shorts, I guess only to be expected given warm, but did find that didn't move with body quite as much as I would have liked.

Best bib I own now
It was my chance to get the pro team bib short on sale and it is the best bib I own right now. Fabric is way different than anyone I have and it just stays in place the whole ride.

Warm, quality and compressive
Had to rate these I love these shorts. Bought to do the Fred Whitton in as was concerned my other gear was a bit lightweight if the weather turned bad. Great fit these and as others have mentioned they are a bit more compressive but really supportive and comfortable. Feel like they will really last with them being a bit thicker than normal shorts. Love them. I have a large in these but in a recent Rapha cargo core Lycra set of shorts I bought medium and yet both fit perfect.

Ultimate cozy bibs
I’m sad I waited so long to get a pair of these! Upon first wear I thought they’d be too tight considering I’m not really in “Pro Team” shape anymore but after a few minutes of wearing and riding they fit like a glove. The wind proof panel in the front is such a nice touch and it’s perfect for winter out here in the PNW. One small feature I love is how grippy the leg bands are, they keep my leg warmers nice and snug even if I have to do a little walking around.

Good compromise
The are a good compromise for the season between winter and summer. With the legwarmers they are just as good as the winter tights. Only downside is i have to send them back for the stitches started to loose after two times.
I am a smal in bibs 182cm 78kg. And I had to go up one size to medium for the legs were to tight.

Great warm bibs.
Lovely pair of bibshorts. The fabric is fleeced inside, like a traditional Roubaix style Lycra, and seems to have some windproof properties.
I tend to wear this with knee warmers. I wear these bibs a lot in our mild winters, only reaching for the bibtights when it is really cold or miserable.
The bib part of the shorts adds some warmth to the torso, which is always welcome in lower temperatures.

Good quality but fit is inconsistent
I got these because they were on sale - I have two other pair of these in black and the fit is all over the place. One is a bit loose, one fits perfectly and this one is pretty snug. My one gripe with all my Rapha gear, and I have a lot as I do like the quality - is the fit is not consistent. They are good about returns so it’s not a huge issue, just frustrating. I’d order a size up if available.

Best Bibs for long. Managed to destroy one in the Three Peaks Bike Race 19. Now I got myself a new one. They are out of a nice tight fabric. I love them!

Great shorts with embro for sunny cold mornings
Great for cold rides in low 40s when you are tired of wearing long bibs. Throw on some embro and put in some pre Spring miles with a nice thermal effect. Feel like wet suit material, but are still comfortable. Pro fit is always super snug in the crotch, but they give a bit after a few rides. Would recommend, just may want to order a size up to avoid the snug factor.

Cozy
Warmth factor is top notch. Molded into a great fit after the second ride. Leg length is a bit short, would love a little more coverage. ….Aesthetically pretty bad :/ appreciate when the branding is monochromatic. The giant white logo down one leg is pretty garish. Would buy again in solid black on black. Hopefully they make a long/tall size next season.

Warm bibs
Very warm bibs - I prefer these + leg warmers to full winter bibs until it is below 32F/0C. The elastic band on the leg is strong and holds up warmers very well. The only negative is these are ever so slightly tighter than the regular pro team bibs but a small still works for me (just). I have 2 pair of these now in my fall/winter kit rotation.
