Bad design, sausage leg issues
Unfortunately these shorts are badly designed for the average woman. I’m a size 8-10, not exactly large, but these shorts gave me the worst sausage leg appearance I’ve ever had. This is because of having not only a snug fitting leg band, but just above this another unnecessary seem going around the leg. I sent them back as they looked terrible. The material was nice but that was it. I think Rapha need to do a bit more in terms of product testing before releasing things for sale on their site.

Not my Favorite.
I’ve bought different Rapha bib models over the years, and this pair was my least favorite. I honestly prefer the Core Rapha bibs over these. I order XXS for anything Rapha, and these bibs just fit weird. The band created a ‘sausage’ leg effect and yet would slide up my leg and not stay in place. They’re much shorter then other Rapha bibs. I’ve really liked other bibs from Rapha, but I did not like these at all. These sit in the back of the closet and never get worn.

Pinching and uncomfortable at the top of the leg.
Love the fabric but very disappointed with chamois. The shorts and body are actually ok. The one area that was very uncomfortable and stuff was the edges of the chamois. The shirts pinch and sit uncomfortably around the top of the leg/groin. The exact area you do not want to rub!! I bought both the pro and the core in different sizes and both are exactly the same problem.

Great, buttt...
Almost the best ever bibs I've worn. So comfy and work really well under my baggies on the mtb and work so well on the roadie. Only problem is that the stitching really doesnt leave bigger legs looking as good as they could. It would be much better as a seamless design, but that might mean sacrificing comfort...

Worth it!
These shorts are really comfy and definitely worth the price jump if you're trying to chose between the two. The level of compression is great when riding, and sizing is accurate. Only concern is that I already have a loose thread in the seam after one wear so will be looking in to this to see if it can be fixed.

Good for climbers
These are my favourite Rapha shorts so far. I can understand some reviewers complaints about them giving sausage legs and I probably wouldn’t go for these if my thighs were any chunkier or if I had a sprinter’s build - they do have seams running around the thigh which could cause an undesired sausagey effect, but if you’re more of a climber build then you’ll probably love them. Very comfy bibs.

Happy with them, great bibs
I use my Souplesse bib for shorther rides and the Pro Team trainingsbib for longer rides (> 100 km). It’s great: good chamois, the grippers are very nice and it just feels ‘firm’. Very happy with them, just wish there is an option for a black logo in the legs instead of white.

Favourite Rapha Bibshorts Ever
I love these - so comfortable and not the 1990s hot pant look - they look and feel classy. After years of hoping Rapha would make women's bibs to the same standard and finish as the men's, here we are and these are ace.
