Key improvements include a new one-piece moulded back panel with channels designed to adapt to your body and promote airflow, as well as a small zipped pocket for keys which can be accessed even when the rain cover is in place.
This generous 15L bag’s main pocket has an inner-zipped mesh pocket to keep kit separate from paperwork, with a mesh pocket to store shoes, and a padded laptop sleeve keeps a 13” computer safe on the move. A quick access front pocket gives you access to smaller items on the go, with a smaller zipped mesh pocket inside to store keys, as well as a passport sized pocket to hold crucial documents wherever your trip takes you.

Simple & Portable
Padded laptop sleeve only fits a 13" laptop (as advertised) but you can easily fit a 15" laptop in this bag.
Lack of a chest strap is not an issue in terms of the pack moving when waking/riding, the straps fit snug.
The little circular metal zipper pulls are inferior to the leather pulls Rapha used on previous packs; they're harder to grab/use
Reflective material looks great - just be warned it picks up oils/stains pretty easily.

Rare Reflective Beauty far From Perfect
Wish I could give this pack a better review as I drooled over it for weeks before opting to pick it up. Unfortunately, all of my fears about it came true. It is beautifully minimalist in design, however lacking in the internal pockets and dividers which enhance a backpack's functionality. Despite this pack having a small liter count, unless you are carrying strictly computers and large books, you will have a main compartment full of small floating items without any way to secure or bundle them.
Also, this is not Rapha's fault, but the 3M reflective material is somewhat delicate - easily scratched, distressed, or soiled and unfortunately even just the oils from your fingers doesn't always clean off of the material. It would be nice if one of the many brands that use 3M's retro-reflective materials would push 3M to develop a more durable iteration.

Great Small Backpack
I love this backpack for a day riding around the city, to class, or to the gym. I can fit my laptop, a textbook, a notebook, a bike lock, and my personal things, or I can pack a spare water bottle or two, lunch, a pack towel, a bike lock, and some other picnic things. It feels cool on the back. I have broad shoulders, but the straps are comfortable. Additionally, the reflectivity in daylight versus when light shines at night is just right. Maybe the zippers are a little small or light for the weight of the construction.

Why does small have to mean minimal?
I had to replace a similar sized Rapha pack from 2015 as the zippers finally gave out. That pack almost had too many extra compartments, but this new one has almost no place to put things. Even a pill bottle won't fit in the pen compartment. I carry my bike lock in my pack for commuting, and the only place it has to go is the main compartment. The older version was considerably more usable.

Very practical and stylish
The material when new is very stiff. But it slowly softens to a good feel - absorbing the hand oils it’s develops a nice patina much like with real leather. The stitching around the corners is so-so due to the stiffness of the material. It could be better. The sizing and compartment is excellently designed. The zips could be smoother. There is no sternum buckle which would be good for those with narrow shoulders or when wearing “slippery” jackets. Overall though I love this bag despite its minor niggles.

Great bag
was concerned when ordering that the bag would shift because it only has shoulder straps but it doesn't move around at all. Has nice organizational compartments and stylish look.

Not as good as previous Rapha back pack
Underwhelmed with the quality, had a previous Rapha back pack, the material was far more comfortable, much better utility wise, with more pockets and compartments, it opened fully, just a much more practical bag

Can I fit a helmet in this bag and still have room to spare?
The Small Travel Backpack has a depth of 10cm, and therefore would not be large enough to comfortably hold a bicycle helmet.

what is the difference between the two small travel backpacks ? The small reflective travel backpack (£110) and small travel backpack (£90) . Both are 15 liters fitting a 13inch laptop. Are they identical apart from the reflective material?
The difference is in the reflective material. Other than this they are the same.

mine has got a bit dirty how best to clean reflective grey surface?
Hi, unfortunately some road grime will not be easy to remove and in order to avoid damage we suggest to not scrub it or rub the surface hard. I would suggest to use a baby wipe to be on the safe side, not a wet wipe that has harsh chemicals such as bleach.

Hi, this will hold a 13" laptop. The measurements for this bag are Width- 25cm, Height- 42cm, Depth- 10cm, should you wish to buy it to try for size. If not suitable should you need to exchange or refund, we have a 90 days return period for new/unused garments with tags and in saleable condition.
