How To Wear:

  • Can be layered over a fleece or directly over a t-shirt. Also wear it as a mid layer under a Gore-Tex jacket when cold and wet. Avoid wearing in the rain on its own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rapha + Snow Peak Down Jacket 'Almost awesome' Rapha + Snow Peak Men's Explore Down Jacket Size Large. Used for Bike-packing and alpine climbing: PRO's - Great helmet compatible hood. Sleeves are a good length when worn riding or reaching above when climbing. Love the two way zip, gives easy access to jersey pockets, belay device etc. The hand warmer pockets are deep and spacious. The two dump pockets inside are great for storing gloves spare hats snacks etc. Packs up small. Looks good and is stylish. The down is water resistant. The inclusion of synthetic insulation at the cuffs, neck chin, under armpits and hem is a really good idea. These are the areas that get wet easily. CON's - Only one - The down is 750 fill power (fp) on this jacket, where as the down on the Rapha Explore Down jacket (previous model) is 850fp - ie warmer down. I don't understand why they changed it ?

Hi, I'm 1m75 and 69kg. What's size I need to buy ? Before I got the old one Explore Down Jacket in Small but now it's too small... This new one is bigger ? smaller ? same sizing ?

This down jacket is the same sizing. We recommend sizing up if the Small no longer fits.
