Description
The Pro Team Gloves designed for riders and racers requiring a full-finger pair for mild and cold weather. Using an improved Polartec fabric, the gloves are windproof, water-resistant (the fabric is waterproof, but the seams are too close together to be fully taped), and yet breathable enough to stop you overheating during hard efforts. Another newly re-engineered improvement is the fit: a mesh panel inserted on the underside of the seams creates shape when your hands grip the bars but which doesn’t restrict motion the rest of the time. The seams have also been repositioned to avoid any pressure points, easing the strain on your hands. Microsuede fabrics have been inserted into the first two fingers of each hand for grip when shifting and braking. The tips have also been treated with a conductive solution to allow use of your phone or GPS computer without taking your gloves off.

Glove Size chart is too small
The Pro Team gloves appear to be of good quality and well-constructed but I am having lots of trouble with sizing. My hand measured out to a M according to the size chart. The M gloves turned out to be far too tight. I did an exchange for a size L. They just arrived and they are still too tight in the thumb and forefinger especially when my hands are slotted into the brake hoods of my bike. Argh. So I guess I'll try the XL next!

Good minimalist glove not quite perfect
Good gloves although the sizing is a bit odd and relative to other gloves by other brands that i buy, they are very tight in the cuff area for my hands/wrists. I originally bought a medium as l like snug gloves, which were fine in the finger length, but virtually impossible around the cuff. Now, they are slightly long in the fingers, and still snug on the wrist, barely stretching over a Garmin watch in addition.
I ride in the UK, and would only wear this glove down to 6-8 degrees personally, depending on how hard i'm going to ride.
What you're buying here is a minimalist glove, which i love, so you're not going to have much insulation from colder temperatures... it's just the sizing is tough, and I highly recommend trying sizes before buying!

Style over function
Surprised at how little these keep your hands warm. Temperatures lower than 6 Deg C, forget about it. Fingers will start to go numb after 15 minutes of riding. I ended up having to wear another liner glove under them to make use of them. Another negative is the dye transfer if you have any bar tape colour other than black, they'll make a mess of your nice bright coloured tape and thats in dry conditions, dread to think the mess they'd make in the wet.

Perfect "winter" gloves if you live in Brisbane.
Perfect "winter" gloves if you live in Brisbane. Mainly just windproof but still comfortable down to maybe 5-6 degrees. Great dexterity make up for lack of insulation. I had to size up to XL as finger length on large resulting in numb finger tips.

Solid gloves for colder weather riding.
Comfortable gloves that are easy to slip on and off. These have been great in colder weather and have kept me comfortable into the low 40s (F) no problem. The capacitive touch pads are accurate and responsive with touch screens and the padding is quite comfortable. I've logged about 40 hours with these so far and they're holding up well. I have also found I can wear this with my Apple Watch without any interference with the Digital Crown or screen.

Kinda pricey
These are good full finger gloves for slightly cool weather. They do not keep my hands warm under 50°F. Having said that I could keep wearing them on a sunny day up to 68° without sweating in them. So they’re more of a spring glove. The touch fabric works well with the phone so I don’t have to take them off. This is the main reason I got them Vs my other full finger glove. Honestly this glove could be $45. But it’s not.

Awesome off-season, but not off-road
I love the latest incarnation even more than my old pair - which I thought were ace too. Versatile, strong, supple, lightweight and sooo comfortable. My go to non-summer gloves for all road riding above freezing. Just not so great as a cross over glove for gravel/mtb duties, as they lack tackier grip for contacting brake levers on any rough decents...

What are the Polartec membrane are used on these? Is the DWR finish PFAS free?
The membrane and finish are not PFAS free. This glove uses a C6 DWR treatment.
We will move to PFC free in 2025.

These can be used on a mountain bike, but they are not specifically mountain biking gloves.

Pro Team Gloves Vs Pro Team Winter Gloves. What are the differences? Designed for the same temperatures?
The biggest difference is that the Pro Team Winter Gloves have more insulation in them. Regular Pro Team Gloves are a simple glove that is both windproof and water resistant. Regular Pro Team Gloves are more suitable for early fall/late spring and cool summer days where the weather might not be so nice. The Winter Pro Team Gloves are designed with winter training in mind. Most of the time they’re not suitable for temps below 32 F or 0 degrees C.
