Who is it for

A Pro Team Camp will get you in shape at the start of the season and prepare you for the challenges to come. It might mean some mountain experience on the way to peak form for a Gran Fondo, or a serious block of training designed to hone race fitness before the start of a season’s campaign: either way, a Pro Team Camp will give you the focus you need to work towards your goals. We will help you build your form on carefully selected routes in some of Europe’s hotspots for pro cycling, and offer training insights and nutrition advice that will help you make a real improvement to your riding. You will amass early-season miles in the same way the pros do: hard days on fabulous terrain without distraction, and serious eating and relaxation at night. Rapha’s take on the traditional training camp isn’t spartan, however, and you and your friends will benefit from Rapha’s exceptional support and high-quality service.

Arrival Day

Arrival to Girona airport or Train station

Arrive to Girona by plane or train to be met by a member of the Rapha Travel team before a short transfer to the hotel. A short afternoon spin on a classic Girona loop, and discussing your season and riding goals.

Day 1

Today we'll head to the coast - these sinuous rolling roads will provide opportunity to practise riding in a group and taking tips from the experienced guides and coach

Day 2

A longer ride today as we head to bigger climbs. Try intervals on the slopes or pacing the climb with power. Opportunities to test products from Rapha Travel partners will exist during the Pro Team Camp.

Day 3, Departure Day

A final spin on a local inland loop. Chat further with the coach and set yourself up for the season with a training plan with our coaching partner Palmares. Transfers to Girona Airport or Train station in the afternoon and evening are provided by Rapha Travel.

Customer Testimonials

Our four guides were nothing short of amazing, I cant praise them enough.

— Randonnee Pyrenees 2015

The on road support made the rides so enjoyable because I didn't have to worry about water, food or bringing too little of clothes.

— Retreat Provence, 2015

What kind of assistance can riders expect on the road?

When you’re riding you’ll always have at least one ride guide on the road with the group. There will also be a mechanic with a full tool kit and spare parts not far away – usually in a support car behind the group. Your guides and mechanics will be able to help you out with ride food and drink, as well as local knowledge, first aid, a morale-boosting chat and – if necessary – a hand to push you up the hill if you’ve run out of energy. They’ll do everything they can to keep you and your bike on the road but, if for any reason you can’t make it to the end, they’ll always make sure there’s a seat in a vehicle so you get safely home.

Are there any off-the-bike activities?

The Pro Team Camps will feature insights, talks and practical demonstrations both from Rapha Travel staff and Pro Team experts on a variety of topics, from riding with power, making ride food, to give you a deeper knowledge of life as a cyclist.
