Made with natural, luxurious merino blend wool, Rapha Merino Socks are the finest cycling-specific socks out there. Designed to keep your feet warm in cold temperatures and cool in the heat, they make use of the temperature-regulating properties of merino wool, whilst the sweat-wicking, breathable fabric prevents moisture build up. With reinforced toe and heel boxes, the socks have been designed to prevent rubbing for maximum durability.

Disappointing change in design.
Really disappointed with these socks. I have a number of pairs bought over the years and they have always been my go to socks because they didn’t leave horrible indents in my legs. These however did just that and as far as I can tell because the design has changed from a deep cuff to a meaner smaller one. It feels like value engineering at play here. These are expensive socks so this is not on. I will be returning the second pair and not buying any more.

New Merino socks
Loved the merino socks, worn for years. I like the newer version but I don't like that it is a thicker material, I like the thinner previous version of the merino socks & thicker better on the brevet socks

Warmth without bulk
When you wear these you can feel the wool in them and you can feel the warmth. But you don't feel that they are thick and bulky, which is a plus. I haven't yet tested them in very cold conditions, but they are fine down to 8 degrees. Great for a cool day. I'm diligently following the care instructions for wool products, so I hope that if I look after them then they will look after me, or my feet at least :)

Socktastic merino!
The most comfortable riding socks I’ve ever had, great quality, lovely soft merino which stays fresh forever on long hot rides and somehow manages to Mel my feet warm in chilly mornings. Hope does it do that?!! I’m a 46 and went for the XL - they’re ever so slightly on the big size but I think large world be too small for me. Hopefully they’ll sharing every so slightly with a few washes. Have just ordered a second pair from the archive sale - love ‘em!

What are the differences between the Marino socks and the reflective brevet socks, other than the reflective band? Are the Marino socks thicker?
The Reflective Brevet Socks are a bit softer due to the use of PrimaLoft insulation and are quick drying. They also feature a terry-cloth section under the ball of the foot for added comfort.
The Merino Socks are great wool blend socks specifically made for cycling with reinforced toe and heel boxes for durability.
