Stylish Trail Pants On & Off Bike
Very comfy and stretchy. Pairs well with the knee guards too. Pockets are in same configuration as the trail shorts. The material is different though. I’m 1.73m with a 32 waist and the M fits perfect. However I do wish they’d be a tad shorter in length.

Great pants
Great trail pants. I'm 6'0" and 84kg and bought the size medium according to their size chart. Seems to fit spot on with a close cut. I'm would consider myself in between medium and large.
These pants seem 100% windproof, durable and have some degree of water resistance. I pair these up with some thermal bibs for winter fat biking, and wear normal padded shorts underneath for autumn riding.
The quality seems very good and these pants have seen everything from snow to mud and have held up on some tough rides. The style is nice, I also like the added material at the wear areas on the inner ankles and shins.
The 2 outside thigh zipper pockets are convenient for my phone and other small items such as a tire gauge or tool. The hip pockets are nice and deep also. I recommend these pants!

Great fit, comfortable ride
I don't normally wear pants when I mountain bike but wanted something for those cold mornings on the trails. After trying the Rapha Trail Shorts I thought I'd give these a try and they are perfect!
Stretchy in the right spots, flexible enough to pedal and ride and I do not feel constrained by the pants at all. I love the slider snap button - it stays connected! I never feel like my phone is affecting my pedaling or riding when I put my phone in either the (regular/front) pocket or the side pocket.

Winter Rides
I’ve held back submitting a review until I’ve ridden a few times in them.
I bought them for the sloppy winter rides and I love them, nice and comfy not restrictive even when wearing armoured boxers underneath.
Exactly what I’d expect from Rapha.

Great Pant!
These pants are sick! Great fit and plenty of stretch to move freely on the bike. The tapered leg and room for knee pads without too much bulk is what I like. Also nice and lightweight so not too warm on those spring or fall afternoon pedals.

Good, but not good enough
The fabric is quite thin on these pants. They may resist abrasion, but I would feel happier if it was a slightly heavier gauge. Secondly, given most MTB riders wear knee pads, the cut around the knees is too restrictive to wear decent knee pads underneath, which means they have to go outside, which is unsightly, less comfortable and means the pads get dirty rather than the washable pant. Still think my Fox Rangers are better.

These are great!
Fit well. Don’t bind, very comfortable even wear hiking. I got the green color and it looks better than I thought. So far have worn in the mid thirties to mid fifties. I was comfortable. Plenty of pocket room.

Great pants for shredding!!
Pretty much as described. Comfortable (wide range of temps), unrestrictive and allows for the use of knee pads. Pockets are well placed (especially the large one on the left side). Only dislike like others have mentioned is the rear seat fabric is already fading after a couple of rides. Also, would like for the inseam to be a tad longer. Like them slightly better than the Specialized Trail pants.

Good winter pant
Warmer than expected, good wind protection, run large, baggy knees. Ok for trail/xc, but prefer the fast and light version. Suspect these were probably intended to wear over pads.

Good
I run these as my winter pants, I had a different pair but I drank too much beer this last year and my waist grew. Now I can work on slimming down with pants, THESE pants.

Great colour, fit
I am 5'5, inseam 29", bought the small. A little long but not too bad, I'm ok with a little bunching up. Green colour is excellent, super durable pants. Highly recommend!

Great pants
Similar to the lightweight, I really enjoyed these pants. They have extra room for pads in the knees. They fit well and ride great. I will be picking up another pair.

I love these pants.
I really like the fit of these pants. I'm extremely happy with them. They don't get hung up on the saddle and are very comfortable from a breathability standpoint.

Great riding pants
These are my first MTB pants. Overall, I am very happy with them. I wasn't able to try them on before ordering but used the online size guide. I ended up ordering size S but I think I'm more or less in between S and M. They are a bit sung in the waist but not at all uncomfortable. They are quite snug when wearing knee pads under the pants (RF Ambush), maybe size M would have been better. Other than that, my only minor complaint is the button to secure the waist, I would have preferred a more normal button. Not really an issue, just a small thing to note.
The thing that put me over the fence to order these pants is that they come with patches and can be repaired by Rapha if the damage is too extensive for the patches. Knowing that I won't have to buy another pair in the event of a damaging crash is great.

Good for cold dryer days
These are good spring trousers fit is good and design well though out. I.e pockets well placed and the waist belt is solid. But the material seems a bit lacking definatly more of a dry weather trouser. Admitedly these were never marketed as waterproof but even saying resistant in british winter is kind of pointless. Also seems to harbour grit in the material even after a wash or two

bike bro equivalent to yoga pants
Great for riding in winter, but also great for around the house and everyday usage. Bike bro yoga pants, basically.

Kind of clammy
Kind of clammy. I expected the pants to be more breathable but they are clammy and keep sweat in some how.

Good for MTB and a randonee trouser replacement
I used to like the randonee trousers for casual riding when I didn’t want to change after, the tight lower leg made them really suitable for this. Since these were replaced by the technical trousers with a much wider leg I feel like rapha hasn’t had a good option for this sort of use- imo the technical trouser isn’t very good for cycling. The trail pants fix this, while they’re arguably less ‘smart’ they are acceptable for my use and are much better riding trousers. The side pockets are great at hiding the bulk of a large phone and they’re really comfy. I’ve used them for mtb and they surprised me by fitting my large fox knee pads underneath, again this worked great. Minor complaints, I don’t like the white Rapha branding- I’d prefer something more low key, the adjustable waist band feels cheap and I worry it’ll break.

So good I bought another pair...
This is my second pair of Trail Pants and I'm impressed with the quality and feel. If I have a gripe it's the sizing which is a little short in the length of the legs. However I am 6'2" and I've always had difficulty with sizing and leg length with trousers. In all other respects I am impressed with these pants. Although not waterproof they coped superbly with a heavy rain shower keeping me warm & dry. They are comfortable to ride in and work well off the bike too.

Doubles as a road soft shell
One of the nicest pairs of pants I've ever owned, cycling or otherwise. XS fits me just right (5'8" 125~130lbs). The cut and use of stretchy material makes it form fitting while also providing excellent freedom of movement. Never feels constricted when lifting a leg over a saddle or while riding. The form fitting cut makes it a decent "soft shell" for road riding - they're not tights but they don't flap in the wind like some other waterproof pants I've tried.

My new favourite pant
Thought I would try these as an alternative to the Fox pants I've been using for years. The Rapha Trail pants quickly turned into my favourite pants! The are longer than others I've used which suits me well as during the winter they cover my boots and stop water going straight in. The main feature I love though is the design of the pockets. Having two secure zipped pockets is great but the open pockets work so well. I don't put anything valuable in these for riding but they are deep enough you probably could but really handy for when you are just need to put something in quickly. The zipped pockets also hold the contents slightly behind your thigh, removes any pressure and provides comfort whilst riding.
These are really comfortable and are my go to during winter riding now. A little too hot for when the temp climbs above 10 degrees.
