In line with our Impact Commitments we have published our Tier 1 Supplier List for the first time during 2021.

Supply chain transparency allows brands to collaborate on identifying and remedying human rights risks within their supply chains, enables workers to assert their rights and hold brands accountable, and gives consumers knowledge on where products are made.

We believe transparency underpins positive change in the apparel industry. We are proud of our supplier partnerships and our mutual efforts to uphold the best human rights due diligence standards.

Our supplier list is published in line with the best industry standard available - the Transparency Pledge, using the Open Data Standard for the Apparel Sector The aim is to use a common publishing format, so the data can be easily harnessed for analysis, and ensure the apparel sector is providing due diligence data in a comparable format.

The supplier list is published twice a year, and represents suppliers of all Rapha products which are currently in production. All suppliers listed have signed our Supplier Code of Conduct, and completed a social and labour self-assessment on the Higg Index FSLM or a Rapha approved social audit.

The current list represents 96% of current production volume, compared to 74% in the last version.

We define Tier 1 as our finished goods manufacturers.



We will include all Tier 1 subcontractors in future versions of the supplier list.

We have excluded 5 suppliers representing <2% of volume where we do not have a direct relationship with the facility which is managed by a partner brand. We will include these in future versions of the report following the completion of our social and labour due diligence processes. We have excluded 1 collaboration partner representing <1% of volume in order to protect sensitive product launches.

We have also excluded 1 supplier on an exit strategy representing <2% of volume. This is a supplier who we have mutually agreed to part ways with, in accordance with the guidelines for responsible exit set out by the Ethical Trading Initiative, based on the International Labour Organisation rules as follows:

  1. 1. Collaborate in true partnership.
  2. 2. Ensure payment of all contractual obligations.
  3. 3. ensure suppliers short term financial health (3 months) will not be impacted negatively.
  4. 4. rationalise and reconfigure orders to ensure continuous production.
  5. 5. reduce payment terms or better yet pay up front for orders that have been cut and future orders that have been affected by changes in volume so as to not impact on suppliers short term cash flow
