Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable These bibs are comfortable and the material is great. I really like the new chamois they have been putting in women’s bibs lately. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the thighs. I almost feel like a large thigh cut needs to be made or some solution for women with this leg problem. Even in the models on the site have it and with the wide band it makes even more prevalent. Sizing up doesn’t fix the issue and then the chamois is too big and uncomfortable. Just something for Rapha to think about for future. They don’t feel tight or uncomfortable. Just look a little funny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bibs for mid distance rides. One of my favourite pairs of Rapha bibs. These shorts have excellent compression and a great pad. For me this is my shorts of choice for up to 3 hours on the bike. I'd probably have chosen the short length if they existed as these are fairly long on my legs. Navy looks great with a tan and has become my preferred shorts colour. The bib part of these shorts is my favourite, flattering over the tummy area, the mesh part sits just under my sports bra and is very soft, lightweight, breathable and comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too small, stitching too tight I wanted to love these but it just didn’t work out. I am a Small in everything Rapha (including other bib short models like the Core). I purchased the pro team bib shorts (regular length) and the stitching/seams are just too light around the thighs resulting in a rather unattractive sausage casing look. Not ideal! The seams around the insert/chamy is also far too tight causing discomfort in the crotch area, obviously not ideal for cycling! I understand that the pro line is closer fitting but that shouldn’t impact sizing. I had to return mine to get a medium. Quality is great though.

At 19 weeks pregnant I’m still able to wear my ‘usual’ size as the stretch is incredible, plus the high waistband / flat lock stitching really supports my bump. I appreciate not what they’re designed for but it’s brilliant being able to still wear kit I already own for keeping fit during during pregnancy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great chamois but colours will run Good bib, excellent chamois but dark navy colour running which means that after one wash, the top of the bib is a dirty off-white. It might be that this particular bib was defective as my husband hasn't had the same issue with his similar bib (and they are washed together).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Longer leg option needed Really like these shorts but still a little short in the leg for me. I prefer a longer leg, a couple of inches above the knee. The chamois is very good; wide enough and dense enough and maintains its shape without feeling bulky - excellent for longer rides. The fabric is nicely supportive and the bib straps a good length with a nice deep mid-body section.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but expensive I have used the bibs on four 4h rides including a indoor Zwift ride. Snug fit, broad leg grippers and the chaomis does the job well but I prefer the Souplesse II chaomis. The Pro team chamois is thicker and a bit bulky at the front. Maybe it will get better after some use. When I compare the Pro Team bibs to Souplesse II the sizing is the same but with some small design changes, higher waist, thinner straps and broader leg grippers. I am 167cm/53kg/57yo (non pro legs) and use size XS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Most Comfortable Short but Durability ? These are by far the most comfortable bib shorts I have tried. Chamois is amazing for any length ride. Super comfortable materials, true to size. Not sure on the long term durability For such an expensive short as I have noticed the material starting to thin around the inner thigh. Overall though the best fitting and most comfortable cycling short I own.

Is the chamois in these thinner than the one in the Cargo bibs? That one was way too thick and dense, I prefer a thinner pad.

The Women's Pro Team Bibs feature a chamois with a thickness of Rear: 5/8mm (120 density) Front: 8mm (65 Density) The Women's Cargo Bib Shorts feature a chamois with a thickness of Rear: 8/11mm (120 density) Front: 8mm (65 Density) The Pro Team chamois is the less thick of the two.
