Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Rapha Jersey I own just about every Rapha jersey and can say this one tops them all. The waffle fabric provides amazing warmth across a wide temperature range. I wear it with a vest down to 40 degrees F and alone from about 46 to 64 degrees. The fit is spot on. Nothing is flapping in the wind nor do I feel challenged to breathe. The collar is high enough to provide some warmth too. My favorite thing about the jersey is that the arms are long (unlike the ridiculously short Pro Training jerseys). The pockets are easy to reach and the zippered valuables pocket is appreciated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pro kit and features This is a gorgeously made piece of kit. The design of the pockets is amazing. I love the sleek seamless look and non-saggy design. The cuffs and waistband are awesome. They add structure and give a tailored fit. All the details are very well done. Materials are top notch. I think "thermal" is a stretch. This is a cool weather long sleeve. 50s to high 60s and with a gilet would cover you for chilly mornings to when the sun warms up a bit. Really appreciate the quality and details of this jersey. The pro team winter jacket is equally impressive in the attention to detail.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too narrow of a temperature range I needed a jersey for 50-60F/10-15C. Based on many reviews of this jersey it seemed to be just what I was looking for. I wore it starting at 50F/10C and was shivering cold. I checked the temperature on my iPhone every 20 minutes and I did not warm-up until about 57F/14C. When the temp hit ~60F/15C I was getting too warm. It is a fairly light jersey - not sheer but not too thick. It has the usual Rapha good quality & fit. The above test was with jersey only; no base layer or jacket. I really wanted to like it, but for me, it simply had too narrow of a temperature range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great long sleeve for cool weather. Great jersey and perfect pro team fit (fairly forgiving for pro team). Sizing consistent with other garments. In my opinion, I wouldn’t call this jersey “thermal”, but rather mid weight. The jersey is great for cool weather, but would certainly need to be paired with a winter/thermal base layer to keep you warm in cold weather. This one is perfect for me in temperatures from 65*F down to 50*F. Below 50*, definitely need to beef up the base layer or add layers. 5’11”, 175lbs, medium is my preferred size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for the slender person I bought size L based on my arm length (I'm 189 cm tall, 72 kg) and the fit is OK but if medium tall size existed that would have been perfect. I do not understand the "thermal" term in the name as I consider this more as a long sleeve that is a bit thicker in the fabric. The low rating I give is due to the fabric used at the wrists... it is very stiff and do not close tight around the wrists, hence air flows into the sleeves... so much for the "thermal"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favorite----- Having purchased several Rapha products I must say this is hands down my favorite acquisition! I'm 6'-0", 160 lbs. and the large is a perfect fit. Winter rides in the PNW are typically in the 40 degree F. range and this Jersey despite it's light weight lives up to it's "thermal" claim. Worn with a base layer and wind shell I've experienced total comfort with great range of motion, breathability is outstanding as well. Wish I'd discovered this jersey sooner, sale price just sweetened the deal.

When is this winter jersey coming out in Pink or Orange. Two years ago I was advised that it was to happen in 2022

We do not have plans to release this jersey in Pink or Orange during our Spring or Summer season collection launches. We recommend checking back in Fall/Spring as we do offer new colors from season to season, however, we cannot guarantee if these colors will be part of the Fall/Winter collection.

Which is the warmest jersey, the thermal or the Infinium temperature range 5 to 10 degrees

These jerseys are similar in warmth. I would recommend either in roughly 5-13 degrees C. The Pro Team Long Sleeve Gore-Tex Infinium Jersey is meant to be worn as an outer layer, however, while the Pro Team Long Sleeve Jersey is meant to be worn as any other jersey (a base or mid layer).

Based on your height, weight and waist measurement we recommend a size L. Please note that this jersey is meant to fit a bit tighter than our Classic and Brevet lines as this is our race fit line.

We do not recommend this jersey in 16-20 degrees celsius as it is insulated and it would be quite warm for these temperatures.
