Last attempt on Rapha bibs
This was the last bibshorts from Rapha that I will buy. Same as the Core Cargo, regular Cargo and other Brevet bibs, the stitches from the chamois is coming loose yet again. Seems a recurring problem which won’t be solved by investing in quality by Rapha. Unfortunate. Because the jerseys are the very best on the market. Already found a way better bib from 7Mesh. Way better chamois. Way better stitching. Way better compression. It leaves all brands so far behind.

Bravo for the Brevet Bibs!
Just rode 425mi / 5 days, 1/3 of it gravel in my Brevet bibs. Bum feels great and bibs look like new. Bravo Rapha for another well thought out, high performing product.

Very Poor Quality for the Price
I bought these with long distance and multiday trips in mind having previously used the cargo shorts. The material seemed nice on first wear and pad felt similar to cargo bib shorts. However after less than 200 miles of use the stitching is coming away in multiple areas. Overall the look of the shorts is worse than bibs i have ridden over 5000 miles in. I contacted Rapha as I was not happy with the standard or rate of wear of the product for the price paid, particularly a product advertised for use over long days. They would not offer a refund as it was outside of the 30 days (not by much) and offered the repair service if I posted the shorts at my own cost. I felt this was unfair based on the low use indicating a production problem and have not heard back from anyone in over 10 days.
I have always been a fan of Rapha when I could afford it, based on the quality and durability of the product. Last time I had an issue over a year ago their customer care was fantastic but it appears that the quality and customer care is no longer at the same level it was and i would proceed with caution if looking to invest this kind of money in shorts.

Nice short - length is shorter than expected
Pocket is on the right leg and it's clever - almost invisible when not in use, really like that part of the design. I am less keen on the leg length and grippers which end up with a shorter length than the pro team and old classic equivalent. Also the fabric seems to pick up dust and marks much more easily than any other Rapha shorts I've owned so gets dirty quickly. Medium fits me well at 5’10. Overall a nice short.

Brevet Bibs
These fit great and i love the feel. I did purchase for a upcoming multi day bikepacking trip. Ive worn them on numerous single day rides and i kinda forget about them. Not noticing clothing is a great indication its working flawlessly. Havent used on multi day event yet but there is no indication they'll cause me or my bum any issues!
They lite material and quick dry chamois are a great feature for the AZ heat!
They also have a lower cut in the front compared to my Cargo Core Bibs which is quite nice for the nature breaks

Get your sizes right!
Sizing is off. Please decide on sizing and KEEP them. I buy from you this year one size and next is totally different. Frustrating.

"Taint Grater (TM)" technology
These are generally well made and fit acceptably, though I found the shoulder straps a bit tighter (i.e. made for a shorter person) than I prefer. I could live with this if the chamois were better. Without too much unfortunate detail, the chamois pattern has two very thick and puffy ridges that extend forward in parallel from the sit-bone area. I guess this is supposed to mimic an anatomic cut-out, but in my experience it just caused a lot of very unpleasant chafing. Definitely seems like they over-engineered this particular chamois.

Very similar to the Classic Bib
Very similar to the Classic Bib, but with a thicker pad and a pocket. I guess the fabric used is the same, at least that what it feel like. It's overall comfortable, but I was expecting more. The foam density used in the pad could be higher. I still prefer the pro team bib for my long ride.

My new favourite bib shorts
I bought these shorts specifically for a short duration but big mileage tour- effectively a Brevet. They are and remain since the most comfortable and nice to wear bib shorts I have ever owned. More relaxed fit than the pro team shorts. I like the phone pocket on the right leg. But would like same on left leg. I guess this would make them cargo bibs and so too much like the selling point of the cargo bibs? Rapha, don't worry about that, just make two pocket brevet bibs. Winner.

Thes bibshorts look more like knickerbockers!
I bought these as I love the colour so bought the matching jersey and socks. Sadly the legs are far too big and look dreadful. I have contacted customer services almost two weeks ago but am still waiting for a response. Very disappointed!

All Day Comfort with an Extra Pocket
The bibs were as comfortable as any Rapha bib. The material although thicker still felt comfortable. The compression was good but not as tight as the pro teams or the powerweave (whcih are awesome). The extra side pock was a live saver, where I would put my phone and my gloves if I was not wearing them. The extra utility was good especially for touring trips and explorlatory adventures where your back pockets may be already full.

Super comfortable bib shorts
Very impressed with the chamois and overall comfort, however could be improved in a few areas.
1. Annoying that the single carbo pocket is on the right. It would suit most cyclists to be on the left (right hand on the bars). I find this infuriating.
2. Shorts a relatively 'short' (shorter than equivalent core range cargo bib)
3. No water resistance. Soaked butt after a mild shower. Thought they would be a bit more like the cargo explore bib shorts.

Superb bib shorts
I was in need of new bibs and decided to snap these up in the sale. My previous favourites from Rapha had been the flyweight bibs, which I've always found really comfortable. These really are fantastic though. The lycra is superb quality - a little thicker than I expected, but not too hot. The gripper is subtle but effective, and similar to the flyweights. The cargo pocket is a nice feature, and the pad is very comfortable. The cut-out back helps to stay cool. I really like the colour combo too, so all in all, I'm just very impressed again.

Very comfortable on long rides. High front.
Very happy with the purchase. They fit well. I went for L the same as my other Rapha bibs as I’m tall 6’4 and 12st. Leg length fine. On putting them on there is a bit of looseness around the leg hem but once settled they are fine. I do find the front high which makes comfort breaks a bit more challenging than my other Rapha shorts. Material good and good comfort on 100+km rides on my Roubaix.

Brevet Bibs for the long distance
These are terrific bib shorts for those really long distance / long time in the saddle rides. They have the most comfortable chamois I've ever used. The only issue I found is that the sizing is different to the other Rapha bibs I've purchased. The small size in the Brevet bib is larger than the Pro team bib shorts. I would have purchased a size down (ie XS) if I had known.

Just right
The most comfortable bibs I have owned. I was a bit skeptical at first, they don't look like they should cost this much, but they proved to be worth it. Great for the long days as they somehow don't feel like diapers. The biggest win for my is that they seem to have just the right fit in the groin area. Not too loose and not too tight, just right.

Perfect, except for the chamois
The overall fit is the best of any bibs I've ever worn. The straps are extremely comfortable. The only downside is the chamois isnt dense enough in my opinion, at least for me. The chamois on the classic bibs is better in my opinion. Unfortunately, the difference in chamois makes these bibs too uncomfortable for me to ride with.

So comfortable
The first time I rode in these shorts I could hardly tell I was wearing them... everything about them matches my body... the straps are wide, the pad is tapered round the outside so you don't feel the edge, and the fabric is somehow always at the same temperature as my skin. I have some core shorts too (they feel cool) and these are a noticeable improvement. Next time I might get black... this blue grey colour might show up patches of perspiration. Note, I've only done quite short rides so far. Building back up...

Nice looking bib but poor quality padding
I have to say that I expected that the quality of the bib padding would have been better for the price paid. I have purchased many lower end bibs from Louis Garneau and Jakaroo that had significantly better padding. The style and fit of bib is awesome too bad that quality of the padding doesn’t match. I would NEVER buy another Rapha bib. If I hadn’t thrown out the original packaging I would have 100% returned these.

Excellent Bib Shorts
Best pair of shorts I’ve owned. Normally a medium is too tight but what I need for my shorter height relative to my build but these were a great fit and flexed where I needed them to. Really comfortable around the seat area. Love the navy blue colour with the pink band at the bottom of the legs.

Leg lenght is the only issue.
One of my favourite BIBs. Great material, chamoix is super comfy (I recently rode a 530km gravel race in them, and felt some discomfort only during my last 50km). Side pocket is very spacious, doesn't affect any riding comfort even when fullfilled (cellphone, multitool, 2 power bars, some tissues). The only issue though is the leg lenght - I'm 6,2", wearing size L - and the leg lenght runs around 3/5 of my thigh, not a big issue but I prefer longer cut. Although - if you consider buying it - don't hesitate :)

Comfortable but durable?
I used them during bike marathon 24h in the saddle. Supper comfy, but unforunately seems like material which is in contact with saddle is not very robust, start to show signs of wear after this short usage. My saddle is nothing special, so dont think it is the issue (Ritchey)

Top quality but could use a second pocket
Top notch as you'd expect from Rapha. Chamois is really thick which is nice if you're into that -- I'd be happier riding the chamois my Core bibs from 2016 have, but that's just personal preference. The left leg could use a cargo pocket as well, as some cargo bibs from competitors already have. Reflective detailing is a nice touch, and for me absolutely decisive, living up north enough for it to become dark in the evenings in the late summer while the temperature still allows riding in regular short bibs.

Excellent bib shorts - worth it
Bought these as a treat for myself. Was always wary of the cost and possible hype but the bottom line is that these are excellent shorts. I’ve used many different makes in the past - these are the best I’ve ever worn. Quality, design and performance all 10/10. Recommended.

Not great!
Seem smaller/tighter than previous size ‘small’. Substantial seams down front of thigh, leaves indent after riding. Not great for a new design.

Comfort I have never had before@
The best bib shorts I have ever worn. Extremely comfortable and roomy enough to stuff a baguette down the front cycling home from the boulangerie. I particularly like the high front to the shorts and the wide shoulder straps.

Excellent comfort
I used this on a ultra, and after spending 27 consecutive hours on the saddle I survived without numbness or pain. It dries fast and the fabric feels very soft and nice. For long rides it’s worth the price in my opinion.
