Quality product, at price
Very impressed with the quality of this bib. I'm comfortable riding down to mid 30s (on days that warm up to mid 40s). The photos don't show how soft the jersey is. It's very soft. I got the navy. It looks fantastic in person. The navy is understated and more fun than the black. The material breathes well for all day riding - even for those uphill sprints.
It's nice to have the cargo pockets. I find the mesh pocket (on right thigh) to be the most useful. I put bars, gels in there. Sometimes my phone is cached there.
The pad is high quality.
The calf reflectors are well executed and are nice to have for safety in addition to lights.
Concerns:
Some pilling on the seat/butt contact zone. It seems to have stopped.
Mesh on right thigh is not the strongest - needs to be babied.
Zippered pocket on left thigh has limited use. Phone will get wet from sweat. I put ID and credit card in there.
Bottomline:
Keep an eye our for competing brands as the 'cargo' bib segment is only growing and cheaper options may come to market in near future. If you don't want to think about what bib to get and just want the best, this is probably it. Just open up the wallet.

Keeps me warm in extreme temperatures, but not dry
I bought my Cargo Winter Tights in November and have worn it in temperatures ranging from plus 7, to minus 9, in rain, in sleet, in snow and in cold clear weather.
Firstly, I will say that the cargo tights keeps me warm, in all conditions. It can feel a little cold in the beginning, but when you get going and warm up your legs it feels great. The rain repellant, however, is not great. You do get wet, and I could feel every drop through the fabric, but the nice fleece backed fabric keeps you warm.
I like the two pockets on your back (one with zipper), but the mesh-pocket and the “waterproof” pocket, on the outside of the upper legs, I could do without. In fact, my old phone could fit it in the waterproof pocket, but when I tried it, the phone got wet from the steam from inside of the pocket (it was not raining). I understand that the body produces heat and steam, but when you say it’s made from water-resistant fabric I would expect it to also resist moisture from my legs. I like the reflecting parts at the lower, and moving, part of the leg, and I like the pad being small enough and feels like it fits well. If I can recommend one thing; it would be to have a bit more wind proof fabric between your legs in the front.
All in all, very happy, keeps me warm in extreme temperatures, but not dry.

Perfect Autumn Winter tights.
These really are excellent. For commuting and road riding the high visibility elements on the calfs and the seat really make you feel more secure on the road. From a comfort point of view, the fit is a little snug, probably closer to ProTeam fit vs Classic. The pockets are brilliant, I now get grumpy when my other cycling shorts / tights dont have pockets. Finaly the weatherproofing. I've worn these in sub-zero conditions, wind, rain etc on commutes. I wish I had a second pair, I will definitley buy them again. Only negatives are the usual problems I have with stitching on the pad coming loose, and after a couple of washes the high viz coating on the calves is starting to split.

Quality not up to Rapha standards
Reflective material on back of legs wears off almost immediately. After only wearing 2-3 rides, the reflective material started degrading. First it will start "cracking" near the heels and then along the full calves. It's basically painted-on, so it's unsurprising that it cracks and falls off in the high-stretch areas. Rapha should seriously ditch that fabric paint and just use the two stripes (which are actual reflective fabric sewn on). I imagine the other rapha bibs with the reflective material on the calves do the same thing. In any case, these are *definitely* a bad purchase unless you don't care about how your kit looks. But if that's the case, why are you buying rapha?
One other important thing to note is that these have a lack of material around the crotch area, which causes my, um, kick stand to get *seriously* cold in sub zero (32F) weather -- like to the point where it feels like it's getting frostbite. My core bibs don't do this, so not sure what's up with these cargo bibs, but i've never felt such pain before. The only solution to this is to wear underwear under the bibs, but who does that?
Only thing I really like about these is the cargo pocket. It works great to stash my iPhone Pro Max for easy access when jersey pockets are hard to get to. Haven't noticed any degradation of the material there. Haven't used the other pocket -- not sure what I'd use it for as it's quite small.

Wonderful, Nice Looking, Not very Warm
I love the look, love the construction, am so pleased to have pockets on my tights (that said the zippered left leg pocket is completely useless). My biggest complaint is that these tights are not really very warm. I can't wear them below 40 deg F unless I wear my deep winter socks which cover my whole lower leg and even then I need to keep up the pace just to keep from freezing. When received I was shocked at how thin the fabric is. I will be using these in early fall and later in spring, but I'm back to my Gore Tex bibs which are windproof and far thicker than these pretty ones. I see others stating how warm these are and I wonder what temps they ride in. I find these comfortable at 45-55 deg F.

Stitching coming undone after second ride
I have been really happy, overall, with the Rapha products I've purchased, but am disappointed with the construction for these bibs. Stitching started to come undone on the chamois after the second ride. Sent a message to customer service about a week ago but have only received an automated response thus far. Disappointment is undoubtedly magnified by shelling out more than I typically spend in order to get what is billed as "the world's finest cycling clothing."

Greatly Disappointing
First time in 5+ years I've been disappointed with a Rapha product. Worn twice - 2x3hr rides, and the fabric is wearing away at the chamois at a tremendous rate. Unlike every other pair of bibs I've ever worn. Awful.
Product feels and looks good...shame it didn't transpire this way.

Good Enough for a New England Winter
These are a great option for cold weather. I commonly ride in sub-freezing temperatures and these tights are the best option I have. I also layer with tights and bibs underneath and that combo can't compare to the comfort of these tights and the warmth is comparable. The zip pocket on the right is great. I usually put keys, etc. in the jersey zip pocket. With all the layers up top, I don't have easy access to anything on my upper body so a secure pocket for keys on the leg is great. As with the cargo bibs, I love the cargo pocket on these, as well.

good buy, although not as warm as expected.
So they are comfortable and do the job, I like the mesh pocket and would prefer 2 of these rather than the zipped pocket (like the shorts). I was a bit unsure about the ankles having no zip but it seems to work ok down there. I recon the picture on the website with the rider wearing them in the snow is a bit misleading as they are not that warm! https://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/mens-cargo-winter-tights-with-pad/product/BCT02XXBLK I would prefer to have something a bit warmer for multi day trips in cold weather. Been riding them in temperatures around 5-12 degrees centigrade and they are good, keep washing them in a mild detergent and re proof them every now and then to limit water retention in the fabric.

Good looking winter bibs but with defective areas
I have been eyeing this for awhile so very excited to receive it in the mail. Fits good like all my other Rapha bibs but the reflective part on both calf seems to be slightly defective as each side seems to have spots that are less reflective. I have contacted customer support and have not heard back for 5 business days and still waiting. Hopefully they will get back to me soon as these are pretty expensive.

Would buy again.
Perform as expected. I can ride these into 30’s (F) comfortably. If I add a base polypro layer or merino I can comfortably get into 20’s or I can ride with a wind stopper over top if particularly cool. Like the pockets. Wonderfully reflective which in winter months is what’s needed. Went XXL and very comfortable at 6’3” and 230#’s. Rodé in light rain recently and it did fine. Very happy overall.

Cold weather game changer.
Great cold weather tights! The cell phone pocket on the thigh is especially hand. I've use this at near zero degrees. What I didn't expect was how good it was at keeping the wind chill down as well.

Does the job at zero temperatures
Nice product overall, it does the job at around zero (Celsius) temperatures (I am not too sensitive to cold though). The shammy felt a little stiff in the beginning, but fits much better after few rides. The fabric and the reflective panels look indeed very fragile, but only time will tell. The side pockets have limited use since everything you put there gets wet from sweating, although the idea is actually great. It would also benefit from a front zipper (cf Endura's winter tights) to make wee stops in the cold a little more confortable.
Size L fits really well (I am 191cm/80kg).

Outstanding comfort and practicality
I love these bib tights! Firstly the fit is great, even for a tall person at 6ft2, there's plenty of leg length in the Large size and I reckon they'd be fine even if I was another couple of inches taller. The pad is fantastic - incredibly comfortable from the very first use, keeping me happy for up to 4 hours on road and gravel, no problem. The material is soft and stretchy and gives good coverage on the top half but allows access for a toilet break quite easily. Warm but not too hot, great practicality from the side pockets (one zipped, one mesh) which are nice to have as an extra even if you don't need them and just stick with the traditional jersey/jacket pockets. Great reflective detailing on these bib tights too.
I've used these at just above freezing (around 3 degrees, on a couple of occasions) and just below freezing (minus 2) for around 3 to 4 hours on each outing and they easily kept me warm enough. However these were not windy days and it was dry, so my only caveat is that if you're going to be facing cold headwinds and/or rain, you might want to look at the wind-blocking Pro Team Winter Tights II. That said, my V1 Pro Team's aren't as long or as comfortable as the Cargo Winter Tights.
Overall, highly recommended for winter riding.

Great winter tights
Very comfortable and great fit (size L / 6'3" / 175lbs). So far, I have worn them down to -6°C without being cold at all so anticipate that I could use them down to around -10°C. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the fabric started pilling where it rubs with the seat (very slight pilling). I would also personally prefer having a zip at the bottom of each leg as they require a little bit of care to slide on & off when wearing thicker winter socks.

Out of pockets
This being a CARGO bib, the pockets are rather important. Therefore the small zippered pocket on the left thigh is a big mistake. This pocket is too small for a phone and the waterproof zipper isn't easy to work while riding. It is hard to believe this item was designed or tested by serious riders. Product designers: You want two big easy to access pockets on the thighs, for a phone or gels, maybe with a tight flap (like Castelli does). You want one zippered pocket on the lower back for keys and credit card/id—which it has. Some people might want to stow their phone there; and a nice detail for a phone pocket would be to make it sweat proof, so you phone isn't soaked. Back pockets on a bib, which will be under other layers on a winter tight, are going to be for stuff you store for just-in-case, end of the ride, etc. This should all be dialed in.

Winter (and Autumn/Spring) essential
Was wearing these for all my winter cycling and only really felt they weren't warm enough when I got down to zero degrees and wind chill feels like was below freezing. Coupled up with some leg warmers underneath was enough though. I like the reflective print on the calves, and also that theis part is more water / spray resistant. The zip thigh pocket and the other mesh pocket are really really handy for keeping essentials easily accessible, plus the bonus zip and mesh pocket on the lower back are great too. A really comfortable fit. I love them!

Thermal great, size snug, needs a larger pocket.
Great thermal properties - ridden down to minus 3deg with no issues. A bit of a 'snug' fit for your average middle-aged man. Probably great for racing-snake pro cyclists! Not uncomfortable however, just snug. The zipped leg thigh pocket is very useful for a phone but only fits the smallest iPhone (4.7in screen). It should be made larger to fit the majority of todays screen sizes.

Perfect for those colder days
These bib tights are excellent for colder days. I’ve only recently discover the convenience of additional pockets in bibs and these bib tights don’t let you down. The added reflective detail at the calf ensure you will be see by other road users. Over long distances the pad certainly does its job. They also dry incredibly quickly when compared to other brands.

Not as good as Pro Team bibtights
The pad, OMG it's huge, I have 2 pairs of pro team bib tights which feel awesome and thought these would be the same. Imagine my disappointment when I wore them and the pad feels like I have a sofa cushion shoved between the bibtights and my bum. It feels huge. Almost like sitting on one of those padded gel saddle covers, yes, horrible isn't it.

Pocket sizing not practical
The comfort and fit of these tights is superb.
As is the visibility with the high viz elements on the calves.
However the cargo element is a bit of a letdown.
The zippered waterproof pockets are a fantastic idea but in reality they are too small to hold a phone.
In winter, I want to make sure I have my phone with me for safety, as I’m sure most riders do, but there is no practical storage space for a decent sized phone in these cargo tights.
I am admittedly using a larger iPhone model of the max size, but this fits into my trial shorts in the appropriate pocket without any issues.
I don’t understand why a bigger pocket wasn’t catered for.
The mesh pocket on the back is also too small and too shallow to hold a phone so I have regretfully had to send these back as they don’t suit my needs.
I should add that I am using these tights with the Rapha Gore-Tex pro shake dry jacket, which has no pockets in it, so I was hoping the cargo tights would provide a storage solution for my phone.
If you are riding with a jacket that has zippered pockets, this phone storage issue may not be a problem for you.
However, this was a slightly disappointing experience given the price point of these tights and I would have expected a better engineered solution.

Declining quality?
I owned another pair of these bib shorts which I wrecked in a crash. As ice from the crash, they stood up well to lots of use. The new pair, however, is starting to pill already in the crotch area after only a few hundred kms of riding. Not sure if the quality of the product has declined or I got a lemon pair.

Absolutely fantastic tights. I often forget I am wearing them! When people start looking at me as I ride by I am concerned that I forgot to put my tights on and my giblets are showing. Instead these are so comfortable you won’t remember you are wearing them. Fit perfect! I am 6’0 and 185 lbs. I ordered a large. Dead on for! Highly recommended for your winter riding. Super warm and the pink and white stripes are sewn on vice painted as some have complained in the past. Buy these now!
