Major improvement
I have the previous cup which I always used for coffee. The new B&B provides significantly better insulation, and more capacity. If you buy, note recommendation to preheat with hot water. Help a lot. Product takes a little more time and care to clean -- disassembly of top - but well worth the trade off.

Excellent hot/cold insulated cup
The cup maintains the temperature of the liquid (hot or cold) for several hours, so also ideal when travelling long distances. It is not a big container but enough for 2 people. It is easy to clean and the cap easy to remove, even with one hand.

Poor heat retention
Bought two of these as presents, great looking and had great hopes. The cups claim to be able to keep drinks warm over a number of hours, this was not the case, coffee was cold within the hour! very poor.

nicht für Winterfahrten geeignet.
Habe schon länger eine Thermoskanne für Winterfahrten gesucht und diese schien mir passend. Besonders weil sie in den Flaschenhalter passt. Gem. Rapha hält sie Getränke bis 5h warm. Heute den Test gemacht: Kanne mit kochendem Wasser gefüllt und vorgewärmt. Danach mit frisch gebrühtem Kaffe gefüllt. Danach bei 5 Grad raus. Nach 90min. war der Inhalt nur noch lauwarm. Definitiv nicht, was Rapha in der Beschreibung verspricht. Sicher eine tolle kann für den Weg ins Büro, wenn man den Zug nimmt, aber nicht zum Radfahren. Schade.

Best insulation bottle so far used. 3-4 hours go
Top top quality and this summer I always had cold water in my car in this bottle. Wished to get two. The same applies to hot content as well.

1)is it ok to wash the lid with dishwasher with 100 celcius hot water(steam wash)? 2)is there any reason not recommended washing the stainless cup with dishwasher?
