Loose fabric
Fabric quality did not match my expectations. I have few several years old Rapha merino t-shirts on which fabric looks better than on this new one.

Ok base layer-still trying different combos!
Good shorts.we’ve base layer. I have a Assos, Craft, and now Rapha. I am having a hard time finding a place for this base layer in my kit. It is not as warm as my synthetics and is too hot for under a single long sleeve jersey….the construction is Rapha quality, just trying to find the right use for it.

Super comfortable base layer
I live in the Rapha merino base layers. They’re super comfortable on and off the bike. Too warm for me on the bike in high summer, but then I just wear them round the house. They last well, just be careful when they’re wet with sweat. Had long and short sleeves in lots of colours. Well worth the cost.

Great base layer... maybe size down though.
I've got the opportunity to wake this a few times, and it does everything it's supposed to do... wick sweat, keep you warm. I would however likely size down in future so it's really tight as a base layer- I find the medium I bought bunches a little underneath my cycling kit. Great base layer though...

good enough wear on or off the bike
my favourite piece of Rapha kit. I wore the other one so much it frayed at the edges. live been waiting for it to come out again. excellent wicking, can wear for what might be seen as a scummy length of time yet there's no odour. the merino is the softest out there. it works great as a smart t-shirt

Soft. Warm. Or cool. Basically, just right.
Very comfortable and soft Merino base layer with excellent temperature management properties. I wear one of these under my jersey on every ride in autumn, winter and spring. I'm never too hot or cold. I'm 6'5" and 218 lbs. and bought XL, which runs very large. In the future I will order this in L.

Great for Riding in Hot Climate
It is hot most of the year where I live so when I go on long rides and not wanting to wear a jersey with stuffed back pockets, I wear my merino base layer shirt. It keeps me cool and has great wicking properties. And because it is wool, it always stays fresh! Also works great as a base layer!

Best clothing item you can own
I’ve had these since Rapha brought out many years ago and each one lasts years - don’t be fooled by cheap imitations. These shirts are the most versatile garment you can own - comfortable, warm, wash superbly and as a layering garment so useful for winter or travel. Wouldn’t be without one!

Perfection
Raphas base layer are the best. I use them for running. They are the perfect Weight and fit since they stretch. They Will keep you warm regardless of how much you sweat. I find this to be a rare treat. The white one makes you look old-school though, partly because its see through.

Believe the hype
This baselayer is snug and very comfortable and stayed practically odorless after three consecutive days of riding in it, sleeping in it and occasionally hanging it out to air. Compared to other baselayers using the same jacket this also kept me drier and warmer. Worth your money.

A must have piece of kit
Everything you know and love from a Rapha merino baselayer. Not cheap but they last forever and thus far, have avoided going smelly. They work through a range of temperatures. I prefer the cut of the men’s so I wear an XS as a female normally wearing an S or M in women’s pro team.

IM A BASE LAYER CONVERT
I ride in Northern California, which often means cold foggy mornings (low 50's) to hot my midday (80's). The marino base layer is perfect. Kepps mre warm in the morning under a simple short sleeve bib . As the temperature rises and i perspire more i never feel clammy and damp

Perfect T-shirts for travel
I wear these merino wool Base layers as a T-shirt all the time. They are incredibly comfortable, have a bit of unique style with the tab at the front, and are flattering if you have a cyclists body. They are very durable and don’t smell, so they are perfect for travel too.

Most comfortable top I own
My first Rapha Merino base layer and it’s superb. I’m wearing it a lot, on and off the bike. Most comfortable top I have and can wear 3/4 days without it smelling.
I love this so much I ordered another long sleeve one.
I’ve cycled, run, played football and golf in it.

Unbelievably Comfortable
Just got three of these delivered. All exactly like the previous three I've owned for a couple of years. And the older ones are still going strong! So well made, perfect fit, excellent soft Merino wool. I could wear these all day long anywhere, not just on the bike.

Perfect, simple base layer.
It works like a good Merino base layer should. It keeps you warm from wicking moisture not so much because of thermal insulation (it is quite thin). Fit is snug but not small I would say which is good for layering over top. I'm 5' 10" and 165lbs and a medium is snug.

Great Base Layer
This is a great, warm, breathable base layer. I’ve used a cheaper merino base layer but this one is much more comfortable and effective. I usually wear large in Rapha tops but I went for a medium for this top and the fit is perfect and close fitting but not too tight.

THE BEST T-SHIRT YOU CAN BUY
Face it, as an inside layer or an outside layer, merino wool is without equal. I wear these under shirts, under jerseys or just outside. Odor resistant, perfect cut, great color palette. Rapha, NEVER stop making these. I have two in almost every color you've produced.

Awesome product!
Definately superior in quality to other merino baselayers i have bought. Just so comfortable and breathable. I used the sizing chart which was perfect. May want to consider a size smaller if you are i to performance cycling and wear tight jerseys to be streamlined.

Game Changing.
Game changing, first base layer I've ever used cycling and I've been commuting daily for 5 years and riding for much much longer than that. Works well to keep me warm in cooler days and in the recent heat much more comfortable to ride with than just my jersey.

Must have base layer
Works seamlessly with the Brevet jersey! Even after long and hard rides I am very comfortable. The wicking effect and the way it interacts with the design of the brevet jerseys (both long sleeved and short sleeved) is wonderful. I will not ride without it.

THE BEST
I've used these since their introduction several years ago. I still have a couple of the original ones and the are the best wool shirt I've owned. I ride in them, travel in them and wear them around to socialize. I give them my highest recommendation.

A truly versatile bit of kit
These are my go to tops for cycling and just general rocking around. They wear and wash well and are very warm and comfortable. I have a fair few new in both long and short sleeve and would thoroughly recommend adding a few to your Rapha kit collection.

Very nice
Great baselayer, definitely recommend as an essential part of your kit. I love wearing mine in the warmer months and then switch to the long sleeve version in late Fall and Winter. Very happy to have these as they really help regulate your body temp.

A bit loose.
Works as advertised. It does feel a bit heavy, and fits slightly larger than expected. I dress medium and own other Rapha "medium" sized items. I can easily wear this with the Classic and Core bibs & jerseys. I wish it was slightly less loose.

Great material. Great base
Fantastic base layer. High quality merino. Doesn’t itch. Definitely more of a relaxed fit but I don’t mind it. Keeps me warm and cool. Doesn’t stink up. Kinda perfect. I’m 5’8” 150 lbs and the small is tight and medium is a bit more relaxed.

Medium and large size
I bought a large and medium as unsure of size. Wear a large jersey. But both fit because they are very strechy. Large i use in colder weather and can sleep in it. Medium is quite tight, but not compressive. Fits close and nice under jersey

Great T-shirt in general
I’ve 5 of these base layers , the wool is so comfy and non itchy. Even if you don’t cycle in winter these t shirts are still worth it. I use them as a base for more casual days out or even as pyjamas on cold winter nights. Get some!
