200 plus miles of comfort
I ride doubles and my bib of choice has always been Rapha. I started with the RCS team bibs, Classic bibs, and up through various Pro Team bibs, both regular and thermal. This new version is the best. The new, denser/firmer, pad was comfortable the entire day on my last double. Feels compressive and supportive through the quads. The longer length feels like you're less exposed and also feels like your connective tissue and ligaments, above and around your knees, are more protected. I'm going to get a few more pairs. Totally worth the price. Fit notes: I'm 5'11", 155lbs, 31 waist, and wear the medium in the longer length.

Almost great
Quality is great, my issues are fit and design. Leg grippers are not tight enough and VERY hot in warm weather, plus the seams are very noticeable. Chamois is very good in the sit bone area but the separation continues through the entire length not giving any protection on the nose of the saddle. Straps are not as comfortable as other premium shorts on the market. Loved the idea of the radio pockets for my phone but you have to be a contortionist to get the phone in and out. Some updating in these areas (or even offer a lower "radio" pocket for phones on all models) and I would consider buying again because of the quality.

inconsistent sizing, delayed delivery
The delivery process was extremely slow, it took 3 weeks for these bibs to be transferred to Greece. It use to take 3 days when they used (free) DHL, but now with DPD it's a joke... Also, when I received them, I realized that Rapha has changed the fitting again. I had bought pro Team bobs last year and I returned them, because they were too short (Large, Regular). However, the thaw sizing was perfect. This year's Large Long are far larger in the thaw area (19.5cm instead of 18.5cm last year). I am fed up returning items to Rapha due to bad fitting, so I'll keep those, but come on, Rapha, for such expensive kit, at least be consistent with your sizing and fit.

Pricey but worth it ....
I finally plucked up the courage to justify to the wife spending nearly £200 on a pair of bibs. I have other Rapha bibs as well as Assos/Sportful/DHB and, whilst I probably couldn't still justify the price tag, they are the best/comfiest bibs I own. The comfort only really shows itself when you're on the bike. I have other shorts that feel immediately comfy when you put them on whereas the Pro Team bibs feel slightly constrictive off the bike however that's how it should be. Once on the bike they are fantastic and are now my "go to" shorts not just for fast paced rides but also long distance where they excel.

Great - but “long” could be longer
Only used on the turbo.
The straps are really comfy when in the cycling position - but feel a little odd when standing.
Pad is comfy.
Quality is great.
Bought after ages scouting the internet for some longer shorts. I came into some money so I thought I’d splash.
However the “long” version still (for me) isn’t long enough.
Rapha- Please make a version of any bibshorts where the cut sits about 1cm above the knee. I understand I’m no marketing consultant. Otherwise this would be the normal cut across all brands.
But if you made a pair of shorts that sat 1cm above the knee and right into the crook of your knee underneath - I’d buy 10.

One of the best fitting and extremely comfortable bib I own. The dual density chamois pad has a nice feel to it. Keeps your area feeling comfy on long rides and not like you're wearing a diaper. I'm 6'5", 190 lbs and have had issues with shoulder straps being to short. Not on the Pro bibs, the straps have enough length in them to fit perfect over my shoulders and not pull so tight. I'm happy I went with the large regular size instead of the long version. It;s still a little to long for my taste by a inch, new tan line :) but wouldn't stop me from buying another pair. Overall, I'm extremely happy with them.

I own 10+ rapha jerseys but this was my first purchase of Rapha Bib Shorts. The first impression was very good as the quality and feel is great and they have the exact length (long version) I was looking for. After having completed La Marmotte I can definitely also confirm that the chamois is among the very best on the market. However, after a number of rides and a few washes the elastic at the bottom is not fitting tight anymore and flaps in the wind when descending. I was not expecting this from Bib Shorts that are branded Pro Team.

Worth Every Penny!
I wanted to drop a quick note and tell you how much I appreciate a great product. I had been planning a 24 hour ride for charity on my Stationary Trainer (Wahoo Kickr) and ZWIFT. My goal was to raise funds for my church. My biggest issue was comfort on a Stationary for 24 hours. I asked around my FB cycling groups and I heard RAPHA over and over again. Now, I know RAPHA and had always wondered if they were worth the price. I can now say with 100% confidence they are worth every penny and then some more. I word my RAPHA Pro Team IIs for twelve hours with no discomfort at all. When it was all said and done I ended up with 24:20 mins and 401 miles.

Whats the difference in strap length between sizes M & L? or from shoulder to crotch. I had both sizes in the past and M fit better in all but was too tight in length as i have a long upper body and wondering whether to try the M again.
The difference in strap length between M and L is about 2cm.

The Pro Team Bib Shorts have seamless leg grippers, seamless straps and a chamois with a perforated top sheet.
The Pro Team Training Bib Shorts have a banded leg gripper with an inseam that is 2 cm longer than the Pro Team Bibs.
