Nice!
Very comfortable undershirt, adds a tiny bit of warmth/windstopping to your chest while keeping the cooling and sweat wicking action. Its made of very stretchy material so feels good no matter your size. Not the cheapest undershirts out there but amazing for any summer time riding, probably also good for mid weather riding but haven’t tested that yet. I just bought two more of them in other colours after using the first one I bought for a few weeks

Good base layer, useful in spring, sumner and autumn. A bit to expensive for what it is...

Must have!
When I first started cycling I didn’t understand the need of a base layer. Now I can’t ride without one. I already have one of these in white but with more cycling I wasn’t able to hand wash/dry them in time so picked this up as a 2nd. Product keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Great product!

Ride without stink
Base layer performs well. I noticed the material does not absorb and emit body odors as readily as most synthetics: that is, wear once and wash. Holds up well agsinst “stink-infeststion.” Right here, it’s earned its keep. And, it’s been washed several times without losing this unique adaptation. Who knew?!

Simply the best
In terms of comfort, fit and effectiveness in both sweat wicking when warm and keeping you toasty when cool, I don't think you can beat this Rapha base layer. My first one was four or so years ago and its still going strong, leaving severel less comfortable, less effective brand base layers having fallen apart in that time. I have four of these now, which is a fresh one for each of my four weekly rides. Yes, not cheap, but you get what you pay for and, by that calculation, these are exceptionally good value.

A bit thinner than expected based on photo online
Material was thinner / more transparent than expected, but good quality. I was imagining a more winter oriented base layer, but this works fine for autumn and spring under a regular warm weather jersey. My significant other forbids me to wear it by itself, haha.

Super light well made base layer
Great base layer/thermal very light, you forget you are actually wearing it. Great at keeping you warm here in NZ. I bought an XL along with an XXL training top. Its tight but in a good way no discomfort at all. Fits well under my training top. Dries really fast. very well made. I like the little touches about Roubaix printed on it. Will look to buy another sleeveless one to replace old base layers which became very heavy once wet. Would recommend and advise maybe one size down from you jersey size.

Snug fit for under riding jersey
Fantastic product. I’m 5’ 10 (177cm), 80kg and ordered a size medium for a close fit under my regular size large Rapha Jerseys. It is snug, but works really well to wick away seat and regulate my temperature.

Great wicking
Great in cold and humid conditions. I usually wear size xl in brevet line but use a size up (XXL) suits me better.

Almost perfect base layer
The material is very high quality. It excels at wicking away moisture and is very light weight. I've bought similar mesh base layers, but these Pro Team Base Layer short sleeves are my favorite due to how breathable, light, and quick drying they are. The fit is excellent, but I feel the length at the bottom could be an 1-2 inches longer. My only other complaint that keeps this from being 5 stars is that it is very expensive for a base layer.

Should be £5
I have the pro team training kit and it is a thing of beauty. This on the other handy just looks cheap and nasty. Stick an Umbro logo on and it'd be in the £5 bin. The photography on the website is misleading to say the least in terms of the fabric finish and colour. In reality it is a very dull purple and hardly screams performance fabric. Also it is a lot tighter than my jersey the same size.

Classiest base layer around
Not sure a base layer needs to be this stylish but it is a nice bit of clothing. Only worn once to date (the day in March when it went crazily hot in the UK only to plummet to icy misery a day later). It felt nice under a short sleeve jersey and I am sure will look cool under the purple Rapha Classic jersey when I unzip on Balearic climbs (when allowed). Size is slightly small but I think it is meant to be that way. Finish is top drawer.

Good but faulty
This fits well for my chest size of 42 inches. The base layer works well for moisture wicking and warmth. However, after my first use with my Rapha pro training jersey, the middle part of the base layer immediately showed signs of wear, where the fabric showed some pilling from where then zipper was rubbing against it. I’ve never had this issue with any of my other brands of baselayers.

Great fit
have been wearing the sleeveless option of this base layer during the Summer and they are excellent. It is almost like a second skin and you are totally unaware that you have it on when riding. decided to buy the short sleeved version for when temperatures drop in late summer Autumn. Fit is excellent as expected with the sleeves being nice an tight around the arm but not uncomfortable.

Nice base layer for sure
this is my second Rapha base layer and just like the long sleeve version that I already own, it fits well and is breathable. Normally I would wear a size L but accidentally ordered the XL (note Rapha that it is impossible to change an order once placed, even after writing to you about a mistake made while ordering). I found the XL to fit fine, not loose or baggy so lucky me...

Looks cool, not sure it does what is says
Good quality. No idea if this is actually doing anything other than adding another layer to collect sweat but it makes me feel like a pro so I rode faster, isn’t it all a mental game? Defo don’t buy into that this wicks the sweat away to the next layer which then does the same, I just feel drenched when I get home whether just a top or top plus vest. But I feel like a pro!!

some of my best lingerie
Usually wear a men's small in Rapha, and this comes aero-tight. Comfortable, breathable, I usually prefer sleeveless or long-sleeve base layers and this is my first short-sleeved one. I have many, many options for a base layer and I'd probably want two or three sleeveless and long-sleeve before a single one of these, but it's a nice option for a mixed-temperature day.

Not Bad
Perfect job regulating my body temperature in a more even fashion. Sleeves are the proper length for a medium build 41-in chest in size large. Very breathable. Don’t care much for the style lettering. One or two snags already but expected on such thin material. Was not convinced a summer base layer was a good idea at first but now I am a convert.

Best in class
Provides wicking & cooling during hot rides and moderate insulation when there is slight chill in the air. What I appreciate the most about this base layer tee is that it works so well with all my rapha jerseys from the tighter fitting pro team collection to the more relaxed brevet collection. I am planning on buying more. One is not enough.

A great update!
I own the previous version of the base layer which had served me well for a few years but was getting a little tired.
The fit of the new one is snug but very comfortable. I’m 6,1 and 88kg and the large fits great.
Really liking the new longer sleeves to compliment the longer style sleeves of pro-cut jerseys.
Good job Rapha!

A great, high performing base layer
Close fitting, fast wicking, rapid drying. Does everything it's supposed to. Unlike other (cheaper) mesh base layers I have it feels softer and more comfortable against the skin. Correspondingly no sign of fabric pulls or snagging yet either. I'm wearing this throughout the year now - found it works well under merino in the cold.

Not quite there for me
Bought this along with the Brevet Base Layer. Moisture management is top notch. But it's not quite as versatile as the Brevet version in my view. I walk/hike/run as well as cycle and for me, the Brevet Base Layer does a better job across all three. But if you're just after it for cycling, don't hesitate. It gets the job done.

Best Base Layer.
I’ve had other Base Layers from Le Col and La Passione, And they are not as versatile or as durable. These other companies base layer is a wide stitch mesh. And either too heavy or too light. The rapha base is perfect for late fall weather and you don’t have to worry about throwing it in the machine.

Brilliant bit of kit
What a purchase. Compared to the rapha mesh base layer this really takes the biscuit. Used between 5-10°c this winter and it kept me warm. Lycra side panels keep it snug but not restrictive and the mesh somehow keeps you warm but also dry. I can’t wait to pair this with a climbers jersey in summer.

Superb base layer
One of the many Rapha items I have purchased.
Superb base layer, does the job of wicking away your hard riding.
I have previously purchased XL in the past but decided to go for XXL having put on a little timber.
I am 6ft and 14st 7lb and the fit is perfect.
Another quality Rapha product

Ridiculous but great
I bought this as i'm doing a lot more time on the turbo trainer, it's great, i wore it on saturday and had my highest power output over a race so far this year. Would thoroughly recommend for indoor wear or for strictly wearing under a jersey, no one should be out in a mesh top alone!
