Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Rapha Women’s 100?

It is a global movement and annual event that encourages women, transgender, and non-binary riders around the world to unite and cycle 100 kilometres on the same day. It celebrates community, sisterhood, and the joy of cycling.

What kind of bike do I need to participate?

Most events are inclusive of all road-worthy bikes, including road bikes and hybrids. However, some specific Clubhouse-led rides (like Copenhagen) may require road bikes with clip-in pedals for safety and pace consistency. It is always best to check the specific requirements of your local ride group before signing up.

Do I need to be a Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) member to join?

No. The Women’s 100 is a global celebration open to all women, transgender, and non-binary riders. You do not need to be an RCC member or an existing Rapha customer to participate in the official rides or the Strava challenge.

What should I carry with me on the ride?

Riders are expected to be self-sufficient. You should bring a well-maintained bike, a helmet, water bottles, and a basic puncture repair kit (spare tube, pump, and tire levers). It is also recommended to carry snacks like bars or bananas to keep your energy up between official rest stops.

How do I choose the right bib shorts for my first century ride?

Comfort starts with the chamois (padding). Pro Team Bib Shorts use a dual-density, size-specific pad designed for an aggressive riding position. Brevet Bib Shorts are also a fan favourite for the Women’s 100 because they feature mesh pockets on the legs, allowing you to easily grab snacks or your phone without reaching around to your back pockets.
