    New Classic design

The 1960s were a time when sponsor logos weren’t so loud, the patterns were understated and the riders who wore the jerseys went on to become style icons that transcended the sport. Our new Classic Check products are inspired by this era, stopping the clock on the timeless look of its protagonists.

    Checking Out

    Road trip to Marfa, Texas.

To photograph the latest Classic clothing, we put a pin on the map and set our riders off on a road trip. They left Austin, a sprawling blend of cowboy Americana, Mexican culture and hipsterdom, and rode across the hill country into the Texan outback.

Between gas station dinners and beers on motel porches, intimidating encounters on empty nights and glorious roads to nowhere, our riders traversed the best and the worst of the Lone Star state.

Grey tarmac cut through the yellow dust plains. Scorched tyre tracks pointed parallel to the power lines. The horizon went on and on. Until Marfa, our chequered flag.

A curious little town of two thousand, Marfa was once a pit stop for oilmen, then a watering hole for ranchers. More recently, it has become an oasis of culture out in the desert.

It was here that Daniel Day Lewis and Javier Bardem stalked the landscape for their iconic roles in There Will Be Blood and No Country For Old Men. Since then, city dwellers have come calling. Prada has built an art installation masquerading as a shop, and foodie restaurateurs have brought fine dining to the wilds.

After two days in Marfa, with hungry bellies filled and heavy legs lightened, we felt the itch to move on (and had a flight to catch). The only way back was the way we had come. Time to check out.
