Poor quality...
I ordered these bib shorts as a crash replacement for a pair of Pro Team bib shorts, which were excellent.
Upon arrival it was quickly evident that these were of poorer quality, including the stitching as well as the fit, which was on the small side and shorter legs than usual.
After only two or three rides and washes, the stitching then began to unravel. At this point I returned the shorts for a different pair.
Love Rapha products in general however avoid this particular item!

Comfortable but there is a problem
Very disappointed after contacting customer service.
In a very short time of using the shorts some stitches started getting loose. I understand the things that can happen but I've been wearing them only 4 times. Contacting the seller about the issue.
They get back to me pretty quick with priceless advice. They told me that I can gently tie the end threads and delicately cut the loose threads to avoid bigger issues.
I'm so glad they believing in me but unfortunately if I do something wrong it would be my fault only.
That's not what I was paid for.
Product is not cheap so it's definitely not what I was expecting.

First Pair of Bibs may be my last
I have purchased many Rapha jerseys, jackets, etc. but this was my first pair of bibs that I purchased. Within 10 weeks, the stitching in the shoulder straps has already begun to fray, and while this may be due to my cycling stroke, there is an area worn down on the inner right thigh. However, I doubt that my cycling style changes with the pair of bibs that I am wearing, and other pairs that I have owned for 2+ years have not shown this wear at all. I was just surprised that these would show so much wear in a relatively short period of time as I doubt that they have even been worn 15-20 times, as they are in a rotation with 5 other pair of bibs. I may just need to stay with the other brands.

Very comfortable but longevity is horrific
I purchased the bibs together with the jersey. I used both for about 700km till now and I must say I am not satisfied. Let me explain. The shorts fit me good, leg gripers are top notch, shorts don't move, the pad feels great and I love wearing them, they are very very comfortable, they would be my favorite pair if it was not for the build quality or rather longevity of the bibs which is horrendous. Threads are fraying all over the place, some parts where the pad is sown in have started to come apart as a result which is very dissapointing. I want to love these bibs but they will not last me another two month. Given the price I would want them to last me a long time. I don't think they should be coming apart after having them for a month and a half. I already sent Rapha an email regarding my issue, including pictures, but haven't received a reply yet (it has been six days now).
I really hope they can do something about this otherwise I don't think I will be buying Rapha ever again unfortunately.

Not their best
The bibs have declined. Best Rapha bibs are: original pro team, original pro team training bib, then current pro team training bib vs pro team. The current “recycled material” bibs are not as comfy as the original. And the stitching always wears out too quickly on all of their bibs

Problem with PRO team training BIBs.
The gear is working well but has come with a lot of trouble. They were broken when I got them. I fixed them myself and got a value check as a compensation. After 2 washes another seam was opening up and I had to send them back. Rapha will repair them but will not take the cost for shipping. It’s supposed to be a premium gear but a have to disagree.

New Recycled Material is Horrible
As one who loved the first generation pro team training shorts I’m disappointed by the new iteration with recycled material, which is much thinner and not as supportive as the older material. Rapha please could you rework the textile to match the old.

Great fit and comfort, lack in quality
So, I have mixed feelings about these bibs. The chamois is the usual, top of the shelf, Rapha quality, with not only great comfort during your ride, but also good durability the chamois doesn't get worn out too fast. Also the general cut is great, as well as the grippers which hold the legs nice in place. My problem are the seams of the bibshorts,as they started to fall apart after the first ride. I think this is unacceptable for a brand with such high standarts as Rapha.

Not as premium as expected
My expectations was high, I tried lots of premium bibs from competitors. This is definitely not the best even though I ordered best padding from Rapha to compare. I get the idea of tighter design of this bib, I had hard times to figure out why there is a stitch middle of the pad splitting my lower parts. Actually it bundles my lower parts, while I swing standing up on the climbs, everything moves to the left and right of the stitch. This bib is definitely not on my regular cycle of best bibs. I was expecting more from Rapha.

Good value for money
Excellent bibs, I own the pro team model and I must say overall the training version is as good as the more expensive one. Really good value for money!

164cm/67kg size M
Hi! The bibs fit perfectly! I am 164cm and 67kg, short and sprint quads, and the size M fit me perfectly! The quality seams great, riding them for a month now at least 300km a week and no problems with stitches, material ware or other. The shamy is really comfortable and you forget about it from the start.

Not what they once were.
I had another pair of these same shorts a few years back, and absolutely loved them. However this latest version has proven to be pretty disappointing. The chamois is super thick and dense, and almost comically large. Because the chamois is so large it makes the saddle feel larger than it should, and led to me developing a couple new saddle sores. General quality is below what I expect at this price point, and it seems that in effort to save money on materials, they had to increase the number of panels to achieve the shape/fit they wanted. Assos and Pedal Mafia have done substantially better in this regard.

Southern California Native (recreational rider)
Good fit I’m 5’10” 81 kg wear a size L
Hugs the body well. Happy with the elastic life and durability this is my third bib of this model. Keep buying them because they are good for every day riding. I live in southern California so mild weather to warm conditions. Most people don’t like or complain about the elastic rubber grip system on the thighs in the comments I have read previously, as somebody who’s not a professional nor riding in any sort of sanctioned events I don’t find the need for a “seamless” or more aero fit but to each his own.
The sit pad is comfortable averaging rides from 30-60 miles 2-3 times a week in my opinion. Is it worth the price yes it will last you roughly two years if washed as directed. Definitely on the pricier side but I love the pro line and have yet to be disappointed.

Quality bibs with one issue
While the Pro Team Training bibs are comfortable for long rides, moisture wicking and overall stylish, I feel the quality of the Rapha logos has decreased. I have three rides on them and take great care of my kit and the letters have already starting to crumble, which leaves me concerned since I don't know how long they will last. I have a previous pair in black which I bought in November 2023 (we're at August 2024 as I'm writing this) and the logos are still intact, which was the reason I bought them again in navy.
Overall, they are amazing and stylish bibs for all day riding if you don't mind the lettering showing premature wear. I am sure the bibs themself will last a long time. Just not the branding, which may be an issue for some.

These shorts saved my leg!!
Super happy with the quality of these training shorts. Aside from looking and fitting great, I had a fall (own fault) and ended up skidding along the road on my left hip at fairly high speed. When I finally stopped, I was terrified to look at what I had done to myself and found the shorts completely protected my hip and upper leg so just bruised. Lower leg was not so pretty but overall injury was minor compared to what I expected. Even the shorts themselves were barely marked. Thanks Rapha - you’re amazing - I highly recommend!!!

Really wish I could rate these higher
Mixed feelings on these. I really want to like these more: great fit (size M for 5’10”/170lb), comfortable, style is spot on ... however after the first wear one seam at the back started to fray after a tread came loose and now after riding less than 300km total one of the straps’ stitching is also coming apart.

The Perfect Bib
The feel, the fit everything about this bib is perfect. Sizing is true, painted on but comfortable AF.
My only complain would be the threads on the leggings part started to unravel after a few rides, easy fix but kinda silly for a product at this price point.
Yes, I would AND will buy this again.

Best bibs yet
Excellent. I’ve had classic and cargo bibs. First time I’ve tried pro team and these are the most comfortable. Fit is snug and super comfy with the dual density pad seeming to do its job. Grippers work very well for me and my thighs are not the widest. I haven’t had any issues with the straps or logos. I wash inside out at 30° no issues. I’m 174cm tall and 71kg. Longer legs and shorter body. Medium fits like a glove.

Pro Team Training Bibs in Size XL
I’m 74.5 inches tall and weigh about 187lbs with an average build. I ride 7 days week and average around 9,000 miles on the bike per year. I am not a racer. I just love riding bikes. I like my bibs to fit tight with good compression and like a long inseam. I normally wear a size L in Le Col Pro bibs, a size XL in Giordana FRC bibs, a size XL in Sportful bibs and a size XL in La Passione Striver bibs. I bought a size XL in these Rapha Pro Team Training bibs. The fit for me is good. They have a little more room than the Sportful or the La Passione bibs. They are not overly tight for my leg shape. The pad is good but has a very defined edge which I feel is not as present on other brands. The straps are comfortable but not the best. The bibs come up high in the front making them difficult to go to the bathroom in. The leg grippers work but I wish they were bigger. This looks like the area where they saved some of the cost. Inseam length on these is good. Overall I would give them an 82 out of 100. If I was about to do a 4 to 5 hour ride these would not be the bibs I would choose.

Great looking but poor quality
Look great, feel great but zero longevity and quality. The seem ripped the second time I wore them. I have a lot of a Rapha kit that's great so this was disappointing. Fully accept it can just be one of those things that happen, but sadly trying to rectify with customer services has been ongoing for a month and still no outcome due to extremely slow replies on their part.

Best bibshorts I have worn by a long way!
I've used these on a few long distance rides now (70+ miles), and they're the best bibshorts I have worn full stop. Material quality is of a high standard and the bibs are comfortabe and not imposing on the shoulders. Chamois is amongst the best I have worn and having done the long rides I was still feeling fresh in that area. These will be my go to for all long rides going forward. All in all a good buy and decent value is bought in a bundle. You get what you pay for.

Found my ideal bib short!
Was looking for a good bibshort for a while, but now I have found it. Realy like the good compression and thight fit, have to get used to it in the beginning but after a few rides I don't want anything else anymore. Last weekend did my first 200km ride with no pains in the end. Would recommend it to anyone. Bought size XL, 1,85m tall, weight 87kg.

Solid bibs, runs small
These are great bibs. They hold up well over time, and stay put when you’re riding. The stitching is high quality, and the materials are very comfortable. The pad seams denser than the pro team bibs. May not be as breathable, but is comfortable. Should not be a big issue. My only complaint is the sizing. I’ve worn a size large for years, and now the larges are way smaller than prior years. Hanging next to my older bibs they look like they are mediums or even smalls. Not sure why they are shrinking over time, but it’s tad frustrating to deal with.

I've never been a fan of bibs in all my decades of cycling until I started purchasing Rapha gear. At first I didn't care for the 'straight jacket' feel but after giving them a second chance it's now the only way I prefer to ride. The PT training bibs are a nice snug fit all around but not too tight. The dark navy color is typical understated elegance from Rapha and the pad & leg grippers are top notch in terms of quality. Straps are nice and wide that don't dig into the traps as well. They are a bit fiddly during bathroom breaks but isn't that inherent in all bib designs? For those that eschew the Rapha graphics on the quads I suggest upping the cadence so no one can decipher the logo. Love these bib shorts so much I also own a pair in black.

Love my Rapha’s!!
My Rapha kits are the best. I ride about 9,000 miles a year and my bibs are comfy and don’t lose their shape or support when I’m riding.
I had an issue where one set of bibs starting using their elastic support after I owned them for a year. I contacted Rapha support and without a question offers me a credit for the original price I paid for them. They stand by their product which is amazing!!
