Small-scale, intimate getaways to some of the world’s best cycling destinations and attended by RCC members, our Escapes involve meticulously planned routes and itineraries, but leave the rest up to the rider. Are you ready to make your Escape?

OVERVIEW

• Without a doubt one of Taiwan’s top attractions and most famous mountain resorts, Alishan is a collection of peaks that overlook the massif of Yushan, and is the location for our next Escape. From May 27 - 29, spend three days of solid riding exploring the stunning scenery at the heart of Taiwan.

THE ROUTE

• We’ll uncover varied landscapes on routes planned and curated by our expert Rapha Taiwan team. Based out of the hillside hub, Hotel Indigo, members will be treated to gorgeous mountain views and dramatic sunsets. Covering 150 km across three days, with 4000 m of elevation, Escape Alishan will treat you to some of the country’s best, and most challenging roads. The exact routes and trip details will be revealed closer to the event date.

THE RULES

• Escape Alishan is a riding getaway to be completed by a group of self-sufficient yet supportive cyclists. To ensure you’re ready for the ride, be sure to bring along two spare tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit and a masterlink. We also highly recommend bringing a spare kit and plenty of ride food.
