Description
Since the club’s inception in 2015, the Rapha Cycling Club kit has become iconic in cities around the world. Now, for the first time, the signature stripes have been updated with brand new colours. This lightweight gilet is a versatile, year-round outer layer that’s easily packed down and stored in a jersey pocket, ready to be pulled out on a cold descent or to protect against the chill of an early ride. Like all Pro Team products, this gilet is designed with performance and comfort in mind. The gilet has reflective stripes on the front to improve visibility in low lighting while a windproof fabric on the front panels maintains body heat while a mesh back panel supports airflow as the ride speeds up. Mesh fabric on the inner collar and perforated holes on the neck prevent you from overheating while directly applied silicone on the front hem ensures the gilet stays in place during hard and fast rides. Practical to the end, the double-ended VISLON® zip means you can unzip from the bottom upwards for easy access to your jersey pockets and extra airflow.

Lovely but with a flaw
This is a lovely looking piece of kit. I was really looking forward to going out in it for the first time. But through my first ride I was really disappointed. It regulates temperature excellently, fits the chest and torso really well and the collar is on the mark.
However, the material on the shoulders flaps. I’ve tried pulling the gilet down but this only stops the flapping for a few moments. I always wear XL and if it was a large then it would be too tight across my chest. Really gutted because I love it but I just can’t wear it anymore because the flapping drives me bananas! Haven’t had issues with any other pieces of rapha gear :(

Versatile, packable, high quality
Love the mesh back design which provide good ventilation when temperature rises. Best when heading out in early morning or riding down hills. Reflective details in the iconic RCC pattern for safety is cool. Sizing is a bit small, sizing up gives a more comfortable feel if we don't have pro road cyclists physique (I wear M size jerseys and opt for L size gilet).

New style and a new cut
Brilliant lightweight gilet in the new club colours.
For some reason this is cut smaller than the previous version. It still fits (just) but you may want to size up.
Packs down very small and has some great new design details.

RCC and Pro Team Gilets
i am 5'10"/178cm tall 76kg, i usually want a snug fit so i always get the small sizes for pro team jerseys, but fot this rapha club gilet (cut is the same as the pro team models), i go one size up (medium) and it just fits right. so i suggest if you are planning to get one of this and the regular pro team gilets, go one size up.

Excellent quality but you better be a pro!
Great quality gilet but built for pros.
The quality is excellent.
But it’s about the fit ….The fit is extremely snug-I’m 5’6” and 140 lb and it’s a tight squeeze. It has a spanx effect on me if you get my drift.
I’m writing this in the winter so maybe after a ton of Zwift kms I’ll slide into that puppy with ease.

Great gilet
Super fit and feel. Nice as packable. True to size, size XS usually at approx 61kg/170cm tall. Possibly a bit closer fit than XS gilets I have had in the past, not by much though. Weather funnily has not been cold enough home in the UK yet to really test this out in anger, sure it won't disappoint though

Perfect lightweight and packable vest.
Perfect lightweight and packable vest. Fit is consistent with the pro team line (race fit). I wear a medium jersey and a medium in this vest. Shoulders do flap a tiny bit in the wind, but definitely not as bad as every other vest on the market. So I wouldn’t not buy this if you see the flapping in other reviews, it isn’t that bad, especially compared to other vests on the market. Every garment can’t fit every single person perfectly, but this one gets really close! Would buy again in other colors.

Have you fixed the zippers ? I have at least 4 vests that are useless you gave me a credit (thanks) on 1 but I still have 3 that are useless.

Hi, I’m a 40” chest and a large in the brevet, core, classic fits to a tee. I understand that for the proteam fit one has to go to XL? My concern is the body may fit me around the waist, although this may be loose, but the top will just flap about? Advice
If your Brevet, Core and Classic items in L are a slim fit, we would recommend sizing up to an XL in the Pro Team Lightweight Vest. If they fit more relaxed, we would recommend the same size (L) in the Pro Team Lightweight vest.

How it the fit compare to mens core Jersey?
This is a race fit and so fit close to the body to reduce drag. The Core range is a relaxed fit for more all day comfort.

I use SMALL and XSMALL in jersey. Does the Gilet in XSMALL would fit fine?
This jersey has a Pro Team fit, if you tend to wear XSMALL for other Pro Team products, choose this, otherwise go for SMALL.
