Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fabulous quality but the fit is not right Like its short sleeved version, the material in this jersey may be the best in the Rapha line. It is soft, medium weight, and breathes well. The wide waist gripper is fabulous. The fit is off, however. While the body is true to size, the sleeves are at least an inch too short when on the bike. This is odd because “on the bike” fit is one of the reasons I own so many Rapha items. Also, it continues to bother me that Rapha ha decided to cheapen the brand by eliminating zippered valuables pockets on many jerseys. Again, this was one of the reasons I started buying their jerseys...but now lesser brands are showing them up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for cool weather/transitional season riding I've had this jersey out for a couple rides this winter/spring when the temperatures "soared" over 10 C/50 F and have some initial impressions. First, the quality is excellent, as you'd expect from Rapha. Every part of the jersey is beautifully sewn. Great fabrics, and for me (5'8" and 160 lbs the medium fits very well). With a short sleeve base layer the jersey has been perfect for the conditions I've worn it in. Several reviewers have commented that it wasn't warm enough, but this isn't a thermal jersey and I didn't expect it to perform like one. It is however, plenty of jersey for cool temperatures (if you're reaching for gloves, hats, booties, etc. this jersey will be too light).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good idea in theory... The fit, style, and quality are all top-notch. This is consistent with my experience with Rapha products. This particular jersey doesn't quite fit a real need for me, however. I think that having arm warmers with a short-sleeved jersey is a more practical choice as the l/s training jersey doesn't really provide any more insulation or an option for a range of temperatures. I can only see using this jersey for a limited range of temperatures. For the days that I need a long-sleeved jersey, I think I'll go with a slightly warmer option. Can't beat the fit and the cool look, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic fabric I own a few Rapha jerseys and the Training Jersey is hands down the best fabric in their lineup. I find it better suited for layering or sun protection—It layers over a base layer or under a shell exceptionally well for those chillier days—Note that it doesn't provide much warmth or block wind at all. I'm 5'11", 175lbs with a slender but not skinny build and purchased a large. The fit is tight, extremely comfortable, and provides unrestricted movement. I can wear an extra large. I can also squeeze into a medium, but why? I find the whole "aero" thing with recreational cyclists amusing. Awesome jersey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good addition to any kit Fit: I'm 190cm and 95kg. I need an XXL - as with all PRO Team jerseys. The sleeves are 'just' long enough. Should not be any shorter. Its my first long sleeve PRO Team jersey. I wear this between 12° (Hi tempo) and 18° with a base layer. By alternating the base layer (summer - winter) this jersey is very versatile as long as its dry. When its colder, I wear the classic jersey (10° - 14°) or insulated brevet (0°-10°) Rear pockets are typical PRO size. Middle one is not larger than side pockets. I waited for the green color to be back in stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best long sleeve jersey for bigger guys I have both the Pro Aero and Pro Aero thermal long sleeve jerseys in XL and the sizing on those jerseys means that in order for the top half to fit you need to compromise on the waist line being loose. Of course, not a big deal but then you get the saggy pockets when you fill them up. The pro team fits best in size large as it has more give Imo in the material for the overall fit and is so far the best long sleeve rapha jersey I have. For context my size is 178cm and 90kg

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect jersey- but needs a touch more of warmth Great jersey- as usual- pro team fit (I'm a small in most Rapha gear). A HUGE win for me is cuffs on this jersey. The cuffs are spandex material and fit perfectly to my wrist and don't flap in the wind at all- which is really nice. Only downside is the warmth of this jersey. Pretty much has to be worn with a base layer (short or long sleeve) of some kind. I would consider this more of a fall/spring long sleeve jersey than a winter jersey.

There are two different answers for the sleeve lengths of Size M and Size L in this Q&A. How can we trust any of your answers?

Thank you for pointing this out. One of the sleeve length questions was from 3 years ago. Our answer was true for the jersey sleeve length back then. We have just removed this question and answer as they are no longer applicable to this jersey. The sleeve length from the side neck point to the cuff is 57.5cm in a size XS, 58.5cm in a size S, 59.5cm in a size M, 60.5cm in a size L, 61.5cm in a size XL, and 62.5cm in a size XXL.

This has a similar fit to the Pro Team Training Jersey (short sleeve). I would recommend similar temperatures to the Core Long Sleeve Jersey, between 10-18 degrees.

I just so the measurements for the M and L and I’m right in the M measurements with few 0.1 inch tending to the large ! How stretch is the material to ride snug since usually ( not sure if is the case ) jerseys tend to stretch with time . Having doubts
