Rated 5 out of 5 by from thank goodness, the polo is back and good again! having purchased and loved and worn to death several of the older polos, i was very excited to see this back in the store after the unfortunate foray into zippers rather than buttons. this is a nice refresh and the snap buttons are clean and a good design. i don't particularly miss the lack of a back pocket and the cut has me stepped down a size compared to the old ones. i will be buying more and would love to see some seasonal colors offered from time to time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unconvinced This is probably an own goal: a departure from the original polo to adapt it to off-bike use, but in doing so, Rapha took out some of the features that made the original work. Material and tailoring is good, but there is so much of soft merino fabric on the collar and metal studs are quite heavy, so one side of the collar lies flat while the other keeps more-less upright. Result is a lopsided look, that can only be rectified by buttoning up. Mine also came with unfinished stitching in the armpit but that’s more a quality control issue, not design.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fits Like a Loose Golf Shirt I own the Rapha merino long sleeved shirt, it is great. I wear it all the time when the weather calls for it in Canada. The Merino Polo is not what it looks like in the photo… the sleeves aren’t as long and fitted like the photo shows

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shirt! Great quality shirt and fits well. Only problem again is that for some reason Rapha wants to use narrow biceps in its products. I’m not very muscular, maybe my biceps are a bit larger than an average cyclist, but they’re still a vit narrow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but on the 'baggy side' (size M) It's got nice details and made from a good weight and drape of merino wool. But I would say that I think the cut is less fitted than I hoped and a bit "saggy" around the core which previously styles of rapha merino polos definitely weren't. I find it odd that this is the cut when it's really an 'off the bike' garment and you don't need the extra space. So overall, I like it, but I'm slightly disappointed sadly.

I'm confused with choosing which size I would buy between M and L. Could you kindly advise me for the shoulder length and body length of Size M and L? Thank you in advance.

The measurements requested for the Merino Polo are as follows: M Sleeve length from shoulder 25 cm Front Body length 70 cm L Sleeve length from shoulder 25.5 cm Front Body length 72 cm

My jersey size is XL. Should I also order an XL in this shirt? I suspect the fit will be more of an athletic fit, but not as fitted as the jersey.)

We do generally recommend the same size in this polo as you wear in our jerseys.
