With a design inspired by the art of ascending, this limited edition, quarter-zip Classic Jersey is one for the climbers. With an innovative merino wool blend, it is well suited to all-round riding in a wide range of temperatures. This version of the Classic Jersey retains the refined fit and rider-inspired details of the original, but has been updated with a new version of our Rapha Performance Merino 150 (RPM150) fabric – which now incorporates recycled fibres. Unlike generic merino blends, RPM150 is light, soft, breathable and adaptable. And with recycled polyester now part of the mix, it has a lower impact, too. Three rear pockets carry everything you need for the climbs, and reflective trims improve visibility in low light conditions.

How This Was Made

The Classic Climbs Jersey is made with the latest iteration of Rapha Performance Merino – a proprietary blend comprising high-grade, merino wool and post-consumer recycled polyester. Using recycled polyester reduces our reliance on virgin materials and gives a second life to materials that would otherwise go to landfill. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great looks but disappointing performance Great looks and nice fabric, but there are some strange design choices that really impact the jersey’s wearability. First of all the stitched in panel on the back is very irritating when leant forward as you would be on a bike. Secondly, the elastic at the back is seriously baffling, employing a piece of round shock-cord rather than the tried and tested flat elastic that is usually found on cycling jerseys. This means it just won’t stay in place and constantly rides up at the back. I think this was so that the waist can be adjusted but I deem this completely unnecessary. Overall very poorly designed jersey

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic climbs not classic Rapha Nice but would have preferred a full zipper. Looser fit than I expected. The material could be softer and better fitting. More appropriate for cooler fall days, as the material is not as breathable as what you typically get from this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect 1/4 zip jersey for autumn Love this jersey for its fit, warm/cool merino cloth and general style. It’s the perfect crossover jersey worn for days out on road, gravel or dry autumnal MTB. I personally size up one with Rapha jerseys - it’s still fitted enough just not super clingy that way. Also try not to wear merino in very wet/muddy conditions and the wool-cloth holds a stain that doesn’t come out in the wash.

Jeg købte en jersey på 50% af under "archive sale" og har aldrig set bedre kvalitet. Jeg bestilte en medium som jeg syntes sad lidt tæt i starten, men efter et par ture og en vask var det som om den tilpassede sig og efter sad PERFEKT! Lod næsten ikke engang mærke til jeg havde den på!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loose and a bit dated looking I prefer a more form-fitting jersey and have quite a few pro jerseys from Rapha and decided to get this on a whim. The fit is a tad loose for my tastes and I’ve learned that I do need/prefer a full zip front. The pattern is also a bit more dated than it looked online. However, it’s still a solid jersey and has performed well on my rides and has held up well to washings.
