Top Tee, Colour and Fit
I’ve had plenty of the on bike merino base layers, probably my favourite item in short and long sleeved from Rapha, so when I saw this alternative merino off bike option I pulled the trigger and have to say they have made another excellent garment. Very soft and comfortable merino, some lovely details, embroidered logo on left arm is subtle, very stylish. The fit is relaxed not a racing type fit, I’m a 40” chest and the Large gives me plenty of room around the dad bod and the biceps are roomy which is nice, very comfortable and easy to team with some jeans or combats. Have to say this colour way they have offered this and a few off bike items in is superb, I also got the merino sweat in this colour which is also great, but the tee is the best I think by a small margin.

Another despecced classic
This has been down-specced now to really a rather basic T and no real difference to the basic Explore version rather than the really well constructed original. Becoming more and more common across the range now unfortunately

Highly recommended.Wool shirt go-to through winter
I prefer Rapha's wool shirts to my Ice Breaker wool shirts as they're softer and fit better. The dark stitching on this style of shirt isn't my first preference as it feels like I have my shirt on inside out (which is why I gave it 4 stars). My cream coloured one of these shirt's contrast stitching doesn't stand out anywhere near as much as this olive one. H

Great fit, excellent feel.
Great fit, not too tight, not too loose. The weight of the fabric is excellent, not too heavy or light. One of my favorite merino products.
