From the iconic climb of Llanberis Pass to the switchbacks of Stwlan Dam, Snowdonia boasts some of the UK’s best riding. To explore the region’s roads in all their autumn splendour, join the Rapha Cycling Club on a weekend away.
Staying in shared accomodation well-equipped for cyclists at The Rocks in the village of Plas Curig, a stone’s throw from Mount Snowdon, the club will be riding on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday between the 21st and 23rd September.
The local roads around Plas Curig allow for a variety of routes of differing distances and elevation. As such, the ride options are designed to be inclusive and cater to all abilities. Whether you want to meet new people on a more sociable ride or challenge yourself on some of the Snowdonia’s steepest climbs, there’s a ride for all each day.
The price includes dinner, welcome drinks and snacks on the Friday, breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday and accommodation for two nights. Riders will also be supplied with planned routes, enjoy mobile mechanical support, weekend riding essentials, ride food, and a prize-giving at the end. Individual rooms at the accomodation host between two and eight people. Lunch and dinner on the Saturday will be at local restaurants but are not included. Likewise, lunch on Sunday at the cafe is at your own cost.
You should make your way to Plas Curig (LL24 0EL) for 5pm on Friday, 21st September. We will help organise carpooling closer to the date. Expect to leave at 3pm on Sunday, 23rd. Full itinerary will be emailed and posted on the RCC forum on Sunday, 9th September.
It is worth mentioning that this is not a Rapha Travel Trip and all club mates will be supporting one another throughout the weekend. Ride with us - Non-members can join too to get a taste of the RCC.
The weekend away cannot be purchased with any discount or voucher and is limited to one place per person. If you have any questions whatsoever, please contact email@example.com
