Attended by a small group of Rapha Cycling Club members, every intimate getaway offers the best riding every location has to offer and a chance to connect with your clubmates.
A two day riding weekend based in Winthrop, Washington featuring beautiful, quiet gravel roads of the Methow Valley and Okanagan. The routes were curated by Washington and Oregon based rider collective, Our Mother The Mountain. This group of riders have a deep catalogue of some of the best forest roads in the Northwest, and they've happily shared their secrets with us for the weekend. Day 1 will take riders over three major climbs, passing through Conconully and Twisp before returning to Winthrop on primarily gravel roads. Day 2 will take riders up Hart's Pass.
Arriving on 23 July and riding for two days, the club will explore the varied landscapes around Winthrop on routes planned and led by local Ride Leaders and Rapha staff. Prepare to cover 175 miles of predominantly gravel routes with 18,760 feet of elevation. The exact routes and trip details will be revealed closer to the event date.
Escape Seattle is a riding getaway to be completed by a group of self-sufficient yet supportive cyclists. To ensure you’re ready for the road, be sure to bring along two spare tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit and a masterlink. We also highly recommend bringing a spare kit and plenty of food.
