Get your spring riding the jumpstart it deserves with Japan’s first Escape of the year. Riding through the beautiful Nagano religion, this two-day getaway will take you on a journey across breathtaking mountainous landscapes. As the area is known for its wineries, the trip will be stopping by a few for a glass or two accompanied by a delicious meal.
Arriving on Saturday, 16th April and riding for two days, the club will explore the varied landscapes around Nagano on routes planned and led by local Ride Leaders and Rapha staff. Prepare to cover 90 kilometres of tarmac road with 2,500m of elevation. The exact routes and trip details will be revealed closer to the event date.
Escape Karuizawa is a riding getaway to be completed by a group of self-sufficient yet supportive cyclists. To ensure you’re ready for the road, be sure to bring along two spare tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit and a masterlink. We also highly recommend bringing a spare kit and plenty of food.
