A popular spot with Korea’s gravel riders, the wilderness surrounding Daejeon is marbled with dirt roads that call out to be explored. Travelling out from the city centre, prepare to cover unpaved terrain with fellow members of the RCC over a weekend of memorable riding. Arriving on Saturday, 11th June and riding for two days, the club will explore the varied landscapes around Daejeon on routes planned and led by local Ride Leaders and Rapha staff. Prepare to cover a total of 120 kilometres of gravel with 2,300 metres of elevation. The exact routes and trip details will be revealed closer to the event date.
Escape Daejeon - Gravel is a riding getaway to be completed by a group of self-sufficient yet supportive cyclists. To ensure you’re ready for the road, participants will need to be equipped with gravel bikes that have tires of no less than 35mm in width and be sure to bring along two spare tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit and a masterlink. We also highly recommend bringing a spare kit and plenty of food.
