Date: Sunday, 8th August 2021
Start: Tisvilde, Denmark
Finish: Tisvilde, Denmark
The Rapha Prestige tasks small amateur teams with an unsupported and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain. The rules are simple: start and finish as a team and pass through all the checkpoints.
Tisvilde is a popular vacation house area in the Northern part of Zealand, just an hour drive from Copenhagen and easily accessible from Sweden. It features beaches and forests, making it a beautiful destination for a summer Prestige - and a great place to play around with a route on mixed surfaces. Tisvilde is a popular coastal area, close to the beach and lush green forests when the trail turns inland. The rolling hills of Denmark are mainly flat, and though the route will primarily cover tarmacked roads, fine gravel will also feature.
Prepare for approximately 150 kilometres of varied terrain. Expect to be on the bike for 5 hours. The exact route and details of the checkpoint locations will be revealed only to confirmed participants one week before the ride.
The Prestige Denmark is an entirely unsupported ride to be completed by teams of four. To make sure you’re self-sufficient out on the road, ensure you’re prepared for anything by bringing along two tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit, and a masterlink. We highly recommend a spare kit, plenty of food.
