Good delivery but not so great wearI bought a few snoods for presents and one for myself. The delivery was excellent, as usual from Rapha. The snood is smart and excellent for doubling up as a face covering when I have forgotten to take my face mask. Unfortunately after 10 or 15 wears the snood looks suite scruffy, with a "balling" appearance on the surface. I've been using a merino Rapha snood for a while and on balance I'd say it is worth paying the extra for merino - mine is still smart and comfortable after many many wears.

DisappointingOut of everything I have bought from Rapha this item is the only thing I’ve been disappointed with. I bought a black one which I wear daily on my commute & whilst it does the job is has faded, bobbled & basically looks awful after just a couple of months. I have a black merino one I purchased from local bike shop for less than the cost of the Rapha one which I’ll be using going forward.

Good quality necktube to keep the wind offI've had a few Buffs over the years, and some cheaper non-branded necktubes too. I was looking for a new necktube to keep the wind off my face on cold morning rides to the train station this winter, and saw this light blue option for sale. The price was lower than others I'd seen which is what sold me. The material is thin, and the tube is quite snug too, although I presume as usual it will stretch a bit. I thought it might be too thin for our 1-2C mornings, but it actually does the job in keeping the cold wind off my face for the short commute. I usually run hot, so didn't want anything too thick, anyway! For longer periods out on a the bike I might want a thicker material, but this works for me. I like the pale blue and white logo colours too.

Warm for thickness, Stays Up!Stays up, and you can breathe through it so not sure how much protection your affording others when in proximity (and during a pandemic) but at least does the job of staying up and keeping your face warm. This is more comfortable than the heavier wool snood and probably just as warm.

DecentIt's decent. I like it for the most part, I just wish it fit a little tighter. Its not like it looses its stretchiness, but it's just kind of limp to begin with. For me if I'm going to wear a snood, I'd rather just have on the winter collar. It fits better, and I can do without the snood on days when the winter collar is too warm.

Excellent, though not snood.I have no problem with this product. Perhaps one enhancement would be a tab of some sort that would make it easier to pull onto my face and then off, as my ride varies in speed and temperature.
The big issue is that it's not a snood. It's clearly what is called a "buff" or "neck gaiter." A snood is a sort of pouch that goes over a ponytail. I hope this naming issue will be addressed with the utmost haste.

Rapha Snood- great productThe Rapha snood is a lightweight product that has made winter riding more enjoyable! Used in 40 degree weather to cover neck, chin, cheeks, ears and nose. The snood still allows you to breathe but cuts the brisk air. When the sun warms up, easily drop to your neck or roll up and store in a spare pocket. Well made and worth the price.
