Prefer the old versionMuch prefer the older version. Biggest issue I have with this new version of the bag is the zipper, it’s hooded and impossible for me to unzip or zip up with one hand whilst on the bike. Additionally the Velcro strap is attached to the back surface of the bag (rather than the top previously) which means I can no longer mount anything (GoPro or lights) underneath my out-front quadlock mount and I suspect you would have this problem with all other bike computer mounts as well. I know some ppl prefer Velcro attachment for the handlebar but I personally preferred the previous buckle attachment system as it’s so much quicker to take on and off the bike. This bag has also lost the 2 x internal slot pockets and subsequently I have difficultly finding a secure spot for my spare GoPro battery and memory card. Unfortunately I think this new bag took away all the things I liked about the previous bag that had made it distinct from all others out in the market. It is now similar to many other bags out there but don’t think it’s better than the other alternatives. This bag has now been relegated to the upright urban ebike as I don’t think it works well with road or gravel bikes for the above reasons.

Nice little bagIt’s like a little duffle bag. Two zippers, two compartments. I bought a Rapha bar bag recently for significantly less cash and liked it better because it is sturdier and better organized. I feel the other bag is better and more affordable.

Stylish bar bagLike the style of this bag and the range of available colours. Not ideal that the waist strap is not removable. Appreciate the zip cover to protect from water, but it is very tough to open and close. This may change in time as the bag is used more. Would advise this is more for stop and access the bag than on the go cycling and trying to get food etc. out at the same time.

Could be betterA nicely sized bar bag with decent straps. It is also fairly light. The zip is extremely poor though, as the zipper is unable to negotiate the corners at each end of the zip. It is thus virtually impossible to open the bag fully, and one cannot use the full length of the zip.

The main zipper is a bit fiddly. The main zipper is a bit fiddly. It's difficult to close it all the way. Most of the times, I find my self pushing and pulling the fabric so I can close it again. The bag seems to be well built.

Great camera bagZip cover is the only thing I don't like! While the material covering the zip helps with waterproofing, it is quite inflexible and a pain to try and fold back to zip the bag open. As it's a flexible bag and doesn't hold it's form completely this is a little annoying. However! I love it anyway and really like how you can wear it off bike with the strap over the shoulder. I often use it as a camera bag. Probably more so than on my bike.

Great as a belt bagWorks great as a belt bag. I haven't used it on the bike yet actually. Bought it as a belt bag for travelling and it's super practical. Only regret is that the buckle easily opens.

Nice bag should be 1/3 or less on the priceGreat bag, would give it more stars but the price of this and other Ralpha products is just too much.
I bought it, how do I use the elastic bit at the bottom to attach it to my bike?
Asked by: Lf123456
The elastic bit can be wrapped around your head tube 2-3 times until it is tight and then hooked back together to hold the bar bag in place.

There are not multiple compartments inside the bag, however, there are some elastic loops to help organize bits and pieces.

Are the velcro bar straps long enough to fit handlebars with an aero profile?
Asked by: RichLinton
The velcro bar straps are each 20 cm long. Please note that the way they attach is by folding back onto themselves.

How low can the bag be hung using the strap, as measured from the handlebar to the top of the bag?(I'm trying to see if it can fit my Garmin light that is attached below a Garmin computer.)
Asked by: jeffyen
The top straps are 20 cm long each. Please keep in mind that the way the straps attach means that they have to be folded back on themselves.

Do the openings in the back panel (Where the bar loops tuck into) run all the way down to, so you could strap this bag to the front of a larger bar bag set up? That would make this far more versatile now there's no webbing on the front (vs the older model
Asked by: JayR
The openings in the back where the bar straps tuck into do not run all the way down the back panel.
