The spirit of adventure runs deep in cycling. It also goes way back. In 1976, American cyclists from across the continent decided to honour their nation’s 200-year anniversary with a 4,250-mile bike ride from Astoria, Oregon to Yorktown, Virginia. Named ‘Bikecentennial’, the event brought like-minded adventurers from all walks of life together for the journey of a lifetime.
Made for discovery not speed, this technical t-shirt takes inspiration from those early adventurers. Using the same feathery light micro-mesh fabric as our Flyweight Jersey, this t-shirt is the perfect loose-fitting top for exploring, whether that be city streets or mountain peaks. A gradient knit structure not only wicks sweat away from the skin but also disperses the moisture over a greater area, creating an incredibly fast-drying shirt. The textured fabric combined with a loose fit helps the t-shirt stand off a rider’s skin for improved heat convection and airflow, allowing you to stay cool and protected in hot conditions. Turn-up sleeves reveal reflective strips to help you stay seen while signalling. Pair the Technical T-Shirt with Cargo Bib Shorts for mixed-terrain riding or wear it as an alternative to cotton t-shirts on warmer days.
