The Rapha Prestige tasks small amateur teams with an unsupported and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain. Unsupported and unmarshalled, the rules are simple: start and finish as a team, and pass through all the checkpoints.

The Route

Prepare for approximately 170 kilometres of riding and expect to be on the bike for up to 10 hours. We seek out the roads less travelled, meandering along jagged coastline through ancient forests and scaling five major climbs. Once you’ve finished, there will be an after party to celebrate the ride, please bring a dozen bottles of your favourite craft beer.

There will be checkpoint locations and a supplied route, which will be revealed only to confirmed participants 48 hours before the ride.

The Prestige Miaoli is a completely unsupported ride to be completed by teams of 5, including one female rider. Teams are encouraged to wear matching jerseys and mandated to ride and pass through the checkpoints together. You are responsible for navigation and should follow the route provided. All riders are expected to be self-sufficient, neither food nor mechanical support will be provided. Minimum kit should include two tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit, a masterlink and all the food you will need. We recommend a power bank to recharge phones and GPS units. A paper cue sheet will be supplied as well as a .gpx file.
