Another brand jersey is better
I bought this to replace a merino shirt with a windblocker chest from a brand that starts with S and has wool in the name. While nice looking, this shirt doesn't have a chest zip to regulate the temp and the sleeves are not wool but the windstopper fabric. The sleeves get clammy on warm climbs.

Function, quality and good looks
Finally. I struggle with over heating. The wind prorection in the chest with the breathability in the back is exactly what i was looking for. No longer need to put newspaper on my chest.

Not the best fit for a tall and slim build
Initially went with a size Large, it was too short on torso and arms for a tall skinny guy. Exchanged for a XL, it’s a bit boxy. Functionally, it’s a nice top but fit could be improved.

Great Jersey for Cooler Riders
Fantastic shirt. I overheat very easily so shoulder season is always a challenge. This jersey has a soft sweat absorbing material on the front and back. On top of that it has a windproof layer on the front which is relatively lightweight but does a good job of blocking most of the chilly wind while still being very breathable. When you do start to sweat the wool layer does a great job of absorbing it and airing itself out.
With a couple of different baselayers its a very versatile shirt. I wear it between -5C to 10C.
I've also used it under a sweater/jacket for fatbiking in the winter.
The fit is also spot on. Im 6'-2" and an athletic 230lbs and the XL is perfect. Just baggy enough but still has abit of a fitted feel.
I will buy another one soon.

Engineered Garment
Sizing - Good fit not overly baggy like some MTB clothing. XS and I’m normally S in Pro Team Aero jersey. Wore on 3 rides baring between 5 to 17 Celsius- good regulation just needed to take wind jkt off. Windproof front stopper chills in descents. Merino wicked well.

Great feel, awesome performance, fit a bit large
Great feel, breathes well on the back, blocks wind and light rain on the front and the arms. Fit is a bit big. I'm used to wear medium in Rapha (I buy Pro road lines mainly), should have bought a small for this one. I'm 6 feet and weigh 160-165pounds.

MTB Trail Windblock
I have only used this jersey once so far. The fit, feel and comfort where great. The only issue I had was that it was a cool day not a cold day and my arms where sweating in this jersey which was making my arms uncomfortable during portions of my ride that day. The rest of my body was super comfortable. I am looking forward to riding with it again on colder days to see how well it works. Maybe adding an under arm mesh would help release some of the heat buildup and resolve this issue.

Great brand!
I bought the jersey for my son’s birthday & it was very much loved - very good quality materials for keeping warm with any form of exercise as well as cycling! :)

Windblock top
Really lovely top for mixed UK riding - wear on its own or with merino base layer if less than 5 degrees and it’s perfect. My Go to riding top now..

Staple Autumn MTB jersey
I was skeptical but this will become my go-to MTB jersey for late Summer/early Autumn. Fantastic stretch merino fabric and the windproof front panel is lightweight. The cut is aggressively on-bike. Worn with a lightweight base layer this will keep me riding through the Autumn when the weather’s fine/dry. Excellent. 172cm and 69kg and small is a comfortable fit. I don’t wear elbow pads but could fit them underneath if I was going to a bike park.

Trail Windblock Jersey
Works exactly as advertised. I purchased this for early and late season riding in order to eliminate a jacket, and it does the job. I'd have given it a 5 rating if the size charts actually reflected the sizing. By their chart I am a firm medium, but experience with Rapha is that I am always a large. Be prepared to size up, or, order two sizes, choose the one that fits, and return the other.

Best jersey i have ever owned
Excelent windblock properties from front and merino wool at the back and front keeps you warm even of you get a bit sweaty.
I got caught in rain wearing this jersey and i was really surprised how waterproof it was, it was only light rain during 10km ride home, but i didn’t get wet.
Considering this jersey appears like really lightweight top it has absolutely excellent characteristics.

It works so well
Good design with the wind block feature. TBH I was going to send back after trying on however since an actual wear whilst it was raining was great worn over base layer. Great to have long sleeves saving this stings and cuts from brambles. The under fabric lovely and soft. The roadie in me does miss a storage pocket but then this is loose fit MTB gear so I can put up with that.

Very satisfied
Bought this for fall weather riding and commuting. Overall really impressed. Ive been riding in 4-6C mornings with just a smaller merino base layer and its nice to have the windblocking for warmth but not the bulk. The back is a a merino layer too so doesnt get hot with my backpack on. 6'1 200lbs with xxxl length arms and xl fit perfect.

Great feel and fit but not very sturdy
Loved the feel of the jersey and it fits well, but the overall construction is less than ideal. On the first ride the jersey ripped and now there is a huge tear right in the middle on the chest.

Great Styling and Performance
Not a big fan of moto style looking MTB jerseys. I really like Rapha's simple and under-rated styling. Jersey seems to perform quite well, especially in cold and windy weather (which is often the case in Tasmania) and has a durable construction, especially the sleeves. Have already hit the deck once wearing it, and it held up well.

Lightweight shirt, great for windy conditions.
Lightweight and incredible breathable shirt. Have been using it regularly for mountain and gravel biking for temperatures between 5-15C, and works great. It is a great windbreak and it won't let you overheat. The shirt seems really well designed and has at least 3 different fabrics to help it do what it's supposed to do.

Nice but not the best.
Very nice jersey, quite heavy, but for me have the right weight. Plus for feel and touch, minus for crumpling (even after wearing all day, windblock part of this cloth was still crumpled - during longdistance travel and bikepacking, nobody takes iron ;) ). Windblock material should be uncrumpled.
A big + for colour.

Now my go-to off road top
This does what it says. It keeps the wind chill out extremely well but also let’s moisture out. It’s very lightweight and is cut perfectly for me (5’ 10” / 81kg). The subtly elasticated cuffs are unobtrusive but stop cold air flowing up inside your sleeve. This is now my go to top. Easily worth the money.

Nice shirt, terrible customer service
The shirt itself feels very nice although I have not yet been able to test it out on the trail yet. My problem is with Rapha customer service which is nonexistent at this point. You can't get ahold of someone no matter how hard to try. I will no longer be ordering from Rapha.

Good product let down by bad customer service
Customer service is now awful. No one even responds to emails anymore… very bad experience on this front and it’s happened a number of times. Would favour other brands as a result. The top itself however is great, really breathable but surprisingly warm

Love most of my rapha gear but this one is just ok
I don’t know but I was expecting something different. It’s rather thin and the windblock feature is only on the chest. It’s made from 3 different materials on chest back and sleeves which makes it look kind of wonky in my opinion.

Wind-block & wool… a winning combo!
Well made jersey, wind-blocking front panel is unique and wool adds to temperature control. I’d like to see a bit more raglan type sleeve and sleeve length in a mountain biking jersey to accommodate elbow armor worn under sleeve.

Delighted!
I am delighted with this jersey. It really works. Great weight and the wind protection is effective and welcome. I have never found it too warm. It washes well too. I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I have worn it

Great idea, well executed, surprisingly warm. No surprises here, just it has not been cold enough for me to take advantage. Tried it on what I thought was a chilly morning and over heated. bring on Autumn

Superior technical clothing product
Wind block on the front, thin wool on the back and arms, this thing is one of the best pieces of gear I’ve ever owned. Light, true fit. Wear it as under layer for winter gravel rides and skiing as well.

Does what it says on the tin
Really good shirt on cooler days, the front panel does exactly what it supposed to and keeps the wind chill off. The rest of the shirt works well and maintains your warmth with out making you over heat.

A very versatile shirt
Usually I avoid writing reviews of goods but in this case I think it is justified. This is my go-to shirt even on the race bike for in-between days. Very light on the skin and protective on the chest.

Perfect for cold morning rides
I find the windblock jersey great for cold morning rides between 4 and 9 degrees with a base layer underneath. Warm without getting hot, really comfortable on a technical ride. Highly recommend it.
