Pretty good, not quite same as the Trail Pants
I have used these for a few rainy winter commutes. They are not exactly what I expected. I have a couple pairs of the standard Trail Pants and love them, from the cut to the belt loops. I sorta thought that's what I was getting with these, but a) there are no belt actual belt loops as there appear to be, so they slide if you're wearing padded tights underneath; and b) they are a bit wider and baggier at the ankle, and the overall cut is a bit different. So they do their job, but in my opinion, they are not as good as they could be.

SIZE ISSUE
Sizing is off. I own a few pairs of the non GORE-TEX trail pants and these are much looser towards the ankles. My first ride in the woods and they got caught in my chainring and tore. I was also disappointed about no repair kit being included. I would like to have them repaired however by the time they are returned, winter will be over. Wish I could get a refund as they were quite expense the tear on my first ride. I’m honestly afraid the wear them again due to how much material is found in the lower legs.

Legs stay dry
These have been mainly used for commuting, still to try them on the MTB but they do exactly what they say they do, keep you dry and comfortable. I've worn these a lot recently and been glad of them as it's always raining here. They are really comfortable, loads of space in the knee area for pads and tapered at the ankle.

Useful styling
Nice styling and fit with decent adjustments and fastening. Accurate sizing. My past experience with goretex is that the life of it is severely limited in areas of wear e. g. The shoulder on jackets with rucksack worn and the seat on trousers when cycling so time will tell if these are durable in that area

So Far…
… so good, bought these when they were first launched as winter commuter (100km a week, give or take) legwear, so use exclusively on road; should have waited for the black friday discounts as the price point is quite high however, am really happy with them. Use them daily with bib/tights and find them very comfortable, the pre shaped knee feels awkward at the very beginning (when not riding). I was also skeptical about the pockets (denim style front pockets) but they are quite handy and the way the are cut the water does not seem to go in. Have not had a real proper winter downpour but got rained on a fair bit over the past few weeks and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Only minor point is the ankle is quite narrow and when using with winter (High) cycling shoes the trousers hitch up and water has a tendency to drip down inside the shoes, solution is to use shoe covers which are high enough to go above the ankle. I pair this with the Classic Goretex winter jacket for 550 quid of total insulation.

What is the g/m^2 and mm/H20 of the pants & are these measurements just the membrane or the actual pants including face and inner fabrics?
The waterproofness from Gore-Tex technology is minimum 28m (28k mm) and is tested to 500hrs washing. This is for the total fabric detail. Gore-Tex also provides their Black Diamond Guarantee on all of our waterproof made from Gore-Tex materials and seam tape and made in approved Gore factories.

What is the inseam length in a size large? From my experience for taller riders most of the pants are way too short.

Yes the inseam is the same as the Trail Pants. In a size M the inseam is 80 cm.
