Not better than it was…
This jacket has changed a fair amount over the years. This is my fourth😎. The original was fantastic - raglan sleeves, cuffs that mated with gloves, and a comfortable yet “Pro” fit. I am 6’3”, 173 pounds, a 40” chest, a 34” waist, and 34.5” arms. I wore a large on the original and I was most pleased that when fully extended on my road bike that the sleeves where plenty long and did not slide back from my wrists. As the jacket evolved, I found that sizing had changed a fair amount and that the next generation of jackets were smaller. This required me move up to an XL size - mind you, I am not XL in anything that I wear. None the less, the XL was very similar to the previous Large and with the same build and features. This jacket I consider third generation. I ordered a large as that is what was recommended by the web site given my dimemnsions. The large is significantly smaller than my original large (which I still wear) - and the sleeve did not reach my wrists. I promptly returned the jacket and purchased and XL - could not arrange for an exchange as shipping is now handled out of the UK - so out of pocket another $300 while waiting for my return to process. Never mind that shipping requires a couple of days to process and then Customs comes into play - Rapha shipping for the US market is simply not in line with the market nor is it competitive. So the new jacket has arrived and I am underwhelmed - no raglan shoulders, no cuffs, and sleeves that slide back from my wrist while riding. The body fits well and the jacket material perform. Design has gone from really good to average at best. Hence my two star rating - I simply find it a disappointing product relative to the features and design of the previous versions - not to mention what some of the other high end competitors are doing. Rapha, in my opinion, has lost a step on this particular jacket.

Not the best of the Pro Team
Below average from the normally awesome Pro Team lineup. Sleeves are baggy, the cuffs are wide and let cold air in regardless of what glove you are wearing, the collar is stiff, hits in the wrong spot (too low) and thus super uncomfortable.

Great addition to a winter setup
Wasn’t sure about making the shift from the Core Winter jacket to this at first, but am really pleased I have.
The fit and finish is much better and it feels much better suited to my shape.
It’s a very snug fit, so if be mindful it won’t accommodate much around the middle like a core jacket does.
Love the chest pocket for carrying a phone as it frees up the rear pocket space. Combining this jacket with cargo tights means you can carry plenty with you without the need for ugly bike storage.
I do find the cuffs are a little baggy compared to the rest of the jacket and on the coldest days you may want a Gilet wind stopper over the top.
It’s not waterproof completely, but does a great job in showers of keeping you dry.

Fine cool to cold weather jacket
Used 4-5 times in 40-50 degree weather at moderate pace and felt comfortable during 1-to-2-hour rides. Well-made and very visible in Red. The sleeve openings are slightly big. I would prefer an elastic type of sleeve opening.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this performed this first time I took it out on a decidedly nippy morning ride. The front wind proofing is effective. A really nice jacket.
Looking forward to wearing it in the spring but for now as the temperature is as close to freezing as it can get before I baulk at riding on icy roads, (+2C at time of writing) I wear it with a merino base layer or two, depending on tempo as pure merino base layers are IMHO the best at preventing the chill effect on getting warmer than anticipated. When Zone twoing, as one does, then the merino layers shall surely be thicker and thus jacket sizing most definitely needs to take this into account. The first jacket jacket which I tried on at the ‘correct’ size (M) was too tight to allow anything at all underneath so I sized up (L) and that, thus spake Goldilocks, was just right: close fitting and not in the least bagworthy, though the arms are a teensy bit short and really could do with an extra half inch. For reference I’m 39.5 inch chest and 6’ tall and 10.75 stone.

Great winter jacket.
Beautifully made winter jersey/jacket which has performed brilliantly so far. Very warm with a winter baselayer but also very breathable. Replacement for an old Gabba which served me well. Very happy with my decision. Great delivery service and return policy too.

Still a great jacket
I have an older version of jacket. This one is different for sure but I like the changes.
It seems thicker and warmer. I've worn it in the low 30s with a light LS base layer under.
The glove/ sleeve interface works best if your gloves go under the sleeve. The sleeve enclosure isn't as tight as the prior model I have but its also not leaving much gap. The zipper chest pocket is great for keys, a gel or chap stick.
I got the road flare red color which hopefully with make me more visible to Rand and Nance as they pilot their 6000lb CUV's inches from me. I digress. Great jacket and a good value.

Great jacket
Great jacket for different type of riding in winter. It really decides what you wear underneath, I rode in a light thermal at +2 - +5 and felt great, or I wore the warmest thermal that I have and skated at -8 / -10

In this jacket warmer than the Pro Team Insulated for dry winter conditions? Which is the warmer jacket Rapha offer for dry very cold conditions (around -2-0°)?
This jacket is best for 1-8 degrees C, but it would be okay in -2-0 degrees with a warm base layer and jersey underneath.
Another good choice of a jacket for very cold temperatures is the Pro Team Insulated Gore-Tex Jacket.

hi, I've already many of you're products all in size M, I've a long sleeve core jersey in size M that is a little bit tight... do you raccomend this jacket in size L or it is more loose and so stay with M? (I am 175cm and 75kg) thx
Hello, I would recommend going up in size for this item if the Core jersey is a little bit tight as this item is from the Pro Team line and they tend to be more form fitting than the core line.

For sizing would a small be the correct choice if I normally wear a small in the pro team long sleeve training jersey (which seems to be a good fit on bike)? I am 189cm tall and ~66kg on a good day, so pretty thin.
